| 1 [58:3] | Waallatheena yuthahiroonamin nisa-ihim thumma yaAAoodoona lima qaloofatahreeru raqabatin min qabli an yatamassa thalikumtooAAathoona bihi waAllahu bimataAAmaloona khabeerun |  والذين يظاهرون من نسائهم ثم يعودون لما قالوا فتحرير رقبة من قبل أن يتماسا ذلكم توعظون به والله بما تعملون خبيروَالَّذِينَ يُظَاهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَائِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَاسَّا ذَلِكُمْ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يظاهرون - pronounce zihar| من - [from]| نسائهم - (to) their wives| ثم - then| يعودون - go back| لما - on what| قالوا - they said,| فتحرير - then freeing| رقبة - (of) a slave| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يتماسا - they touch each other.| ذلكم - That| توعظون - you are admonished| به - to it.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبير - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 2 [58:8] | Alam tara ila allatheena nuhooAAani alnnajwa thumma yaAAoodoona lima nuhooAAanhu wayatanajawna bial-ithmi waalAAudwaniwamaAAsiyati alrrasooli wa-itha jaookahayyawka bima lam yuhayyika bihi Allahuwayaqooloona fee anfusihim lawla yuAAaththibunaAllahu bima naqoolu hasbuhum jahannamu yaslawnahafabi/sa almaseeru | ألم تر إلى الذين نهوا عن النجوى ثم يعودون لما نهوا عنه ويتناجون بالإثم والعدوان ومعصيت الرسول وإذا جاءوك حيوك بما لم يحيك به الله ويقولون في أنفسهم لولا يعذبنا الله بما نقول حسبهم جهنم يصلونها فبئس المصير أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ نُهُوا عَنِ النَّجْوَى ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَاجَوْنَ بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَاؤُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا اللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [to]| الذين - those who| نهوا - were forbidden| عن - from| النجوى - secret counsels,| ثم - then| يعودون - they return| لما - to what| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from [it],| ويتناجون - and they hold secret counsels| بالإثم - for sin| والعدوان - and aggression| ومعصيت - and disobedience| الرسول - (to) the Messenger?| وإذا - And when| جاءوك - they come to you,| حيوك - they greet you| بما - with what| لم - not| يحيك - greets you| به - therewith| الله - Allah,| ويقولون - and they say| في - among| أنفسهم - themselves,| لولا - "Why (does) not| يعذبنا - Allah punish us| الله - Allah punish us| بما - for what| نقول - we say?"| حسبهم - Sufficient (for) them| جهنم - (is) Hell,| يصلونها - they will burn in it| فبئس - and worst is| المصير - the destination.| | ||||||
