| 1 [8:60] | WaaAAiddoo lahum ma istataAAtummin quwwatin wamin ribati alkhayli turhiboona bihiAAaduwwa Allahi waAAaduwwakum waakhareena mindoonihim la taAAlamoonahumu Allahu yaAAlamuhum wamatunfiqoo min shay-in fee sabeeli Allahi yuwaffa ilaykumwaantum la tuthlamoona |  وأعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو الله وعدوكم وآخرين من دونهم لا تعلمونهم الله يعلمهم وما تنفقوا من شيء في سبيل الله يوف إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمونوَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأعدوا - And prepare| لهم - for them| ما - whatever| استطعتم - you able (to)| من - of| قوة - force| ومن - and of| رباط - tethered| الخيل - horses| ترهبون - (to) terrify| به - therewith| عدو - (the) enemy| الله - (the) enemy,| وعدوكم - and your enemy| وآخرين - and others| من - from| دونهم - besides them,| لا - not| تعلمونهم - (do) you know them| الله - (but) Allah| يعلمهم - knows them.| وما - And whatever| تنفقوا - you spend| من - from| شيء - (any) thing| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| يوف - it will be fully repaid| إليكم - to you,| وأنتم - and you| لا - (will) not| تظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 2 [14:9] | Alam ya/tikum nabao allatheena minqablikum qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waallatheenamin baAAdihim la yaAAlamuhum illa Allahu jaat-humrusuluhum bialbayyinati faraddoo aydiyahum fee afwahihimwaqaloo inna kafarna bima orsiltumbihi wa-inna lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonanailayhi mureebun | ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين من قبلكم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم لا يعلمهم إلا الله جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فردوا أيديهم في أفواههم وقالوا إنا كفرنا بما أرسلتم به وإنا لفي شك مما تدعوننا إليه مريب أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ اللّهُ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُواْ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأتكم - come to you| نبأ - (the) news| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before you,| قبلكم - (were) before you,| قوم - the people| نوح - of Nuh,| وعاد - and Aad| وثمود - and Thamud| والذين - and those who| من - (were) after them?| بعدهم - (were) after them?| لا - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| جاءتهم - Came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| فردوا - but they returned| أيديهم - their hands| في - in| أفواههم - their mouths| وقالوا - and they said,| إنا - "Indeed we| كفرنا - [we] disbelieve| بما - in what| أرسلتم - you have been sent| به - with [it],| وإنا - and indeed, we| لفي - (are) surely in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعوننا - you invite us| إليه - to it| مريب - suspicious."| | ||||||
| 3 [18:22] | Sayaqooloona thalathatun rabiAAuhumkalbuhum wayaqooloona khamsatun sadisuhum kalbuhum rajmanbialghaybi wayaqooloona sabAAatun wathaminuhumkalbuhum qul rabbee aAAlamu biAAiddatihim ma yaAAlamuhumilla qaleelun fala tumari feehim illamiraan thahiran wala tastaftifeehim minhum ahadan | سيقولون ثلاثة رابعهم كلبهم ويقولون خمسة سادسهم كلبهم رجما بالغيب ويقولون سبعة وثامنهم كلبهم قل ربي أعلم بعدتهم ما يعلمهم إلا قليل فلا تمار فيهم إلا مراء ظاهرا ولا تستفت فيهم منهم أحدا سَيَقُولُونَ ثَلاَثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ فَلاَ تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلاَّ مِرَاءً ظَاهِرًا وَلاَ تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقولون - They say,| ثلاثة - (they were) three,| رابعهم - the forth of them| كلبهم - their dog;| ويقولون - and they say| خمسة - (they were) five| سادسهم - the sixth of them| كلبهم - their dog -| رجما - guessing| بالغيب - about the unseen;| ويقولون - and they say,| سبعة - (they were) seven| وثامنهم - and the eight of them| كلبهم - their dog.| قل - Say,| ربي - "My Lord,| أعلم - knows best| بعدتهم - their number.| ما - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| قليل - a few.| فلا - So (do) not| تمار - argue| فيهم - about them| إلا - except| مراء - (with) an argument| ظاهرا - obvious,| ولا - and (do) not| تستفت - inquire| فيهم - about them| منهم - among them| أحدا - (from) anyone."| | ||||||
