| 1 [2:268] | Alshshaytanu yaAAidukumualfaqra waya/murukum bialfahsha-i waAllahuyaAAidukum maghfiratan minhu wafadlan waAllahuwasiAAun AAaleemun |  الشيطان يعدكم الفقر ويأمركم بالفحشاء والله يعدكم مغفرة منه وفضلا والله واسع عليمالشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُم بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَاللّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغْفِرَةً مِّنْهُ وَفَضْلاً وَاللّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |الشيطان - The Shaitaan| يعدكم - promises you| الفقر - [the] poverty| ويأمركم - and orders you| بالفحشاء - to immorality,| والله - while Allah| يعدكم - promises you| مغفرة - forgiveness| منه - from Him| وفضلا - and bounty.| والله - And Allah| واسع - (is) All-Encompassing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 2 [8:7] | Wa-ith yaAAidukumu Allahu ihdaaltta-ifatayni annaha lakum watawaddoonaanna ghayra thati alshshawkati takoonu lakumwayureedu Allahu an yuhiqqa alhaqqa bikalimatihiwayaqtaAAa dabira alkafireena | وإذ يعدكم الله إحدى الطائفتين أنها لكم وتودون أن غير ذات الشوكة تكون لكم ويريد الله أن يحق الحق بكلماته ويقطع دابر الكافرين وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| يعدكم - promised you| الله - Allah| إحدى - one| الطائفتين - (of) the two groups -| أنها - that it (would be)| لكم - for you -| وتودون - and you wished| أن - that| غير - (one) other than| ذات - that| الشوكة - (of) the armed| تكون - would be| لكم - for you.| ويريد - But intended| الله - Allah| أن - to| يحق - justify| الحق - the truth| بكلماته - by His words,| ويقطع - and cut off| دابر - (the) roots| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers| | ||||||
| 3 [20:86] | FarajaAAa moosa ila qawmihighadbana asifan qala ya qawmi alamyaAAidkum rabbukum waAAdan hasanan afatalaAAalaykumu alAAahdu am aradtum an yahilla AAalaykum ghadabunmin rabbikum faakhlaftum mawAAidee | فرجع موسى إلى قومه غضبان أسفا قال يا قوم ألم يعدكم ربكم وعدا حسنا أفطال عليكم العهد أم أردتم أن يحل عليكم غضب من ربكم فأخلفتم موعدي فَرَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُم مَّوْعِدِي | |||||
| Words | |فرجع - Then Musa returned| موسى - Then Musa returned| إلى - to| قومه - his people| غضبان - angry| أسفا - (and) sorrowful.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| ألم - Did not| يعدكم - promise you| ربكم - your Lord| وعدا - a promise| حسنا - good?| أفطال - Then, did seem long| عليكم - to you| العهد - the promise,| أم - or| أردتم - did you desire| أن - that| يحل - descend| عليكم - upon you| غضب - (the) Anger| من - of| ربكم - your Lord,| فأخلفتم - so you broke| موعدي - (the) promise to me?"| | ||||||
| 4 [40:28] | Waqala rajulun mu/minun min alifirAAawna yaktumu eemanahu ataqtuloona rajulan an yaqoolarabbiyya Allahu waqad jaakum bialbayyinatimin rabbikum wa-in yaku kathiban faAAalayhi kathibuhuwa-in yaku sadiqan yusibkum baAAdu allatheeyaAAidukum inna Allaha la yahdee man huwa musrifunkaththabun | وقال رجل مؤمن من آل فرعون يكتم إيمانه أتقتلون رجلا أن يقول ربي الله وقد جاءكم بالبينات من ربكم وإن يك كاذبا فعليه كذبه وإن يك صادقا يصبكم بعض الذي يعدكم إن الله لا يهدي من هو مسرف كذاب وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ مِّنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيْمَانَهُ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَاءَكُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَإِن يَكُ كَاذِبًا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ الَّذِي يَعِدُكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| رجل - a man,| مؤمن - believing,| من - from| آل - (the) family| فرعون - (of) Firaun| يكتم - who conceal(ed)| إيمانه - his faith,| أتقتلون - "Will you kill| رجلا - a man| أن - because| يقول - he says,| ربي - "My Lord| الله - (is) Allah,"| وقد - and indeed| جاءكم - he has brought you| بالبينات - clear proofs| من - from| ربكم - your Lord?| وإن - And if| يك - he is| كاذبا - a liar,| فعليه - then upon him| كذبه - (is) his lie;| وإن - and if| يك - he is| صادقا - truthful,| يصبكم - (there) will strike you| بعض - some (of)| الذي - (that) which| يعدكم - he threatens you.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| من - (one) who| هو - [he]| مسرف - (is) a transgressor,| كذاب - a liar.| | ||||||
