| 1 [58:2] | Allatheena yuthahiroonaminkum min nisa-ihim ma hunna ommahatihim inommahatuhum illa alla-ee waladnahumwa-innahum layaqooloona munkaran mina alqawli wazooran wa-innaAllaha laAAafuwwun ghafoorun |  الذين يظاهرون منكم من نسائهم ما هن أمهاتهم إن أمهاتهم إلا اللائي ولدنهم وإنهم ليقولون منكرا من القول وزورا وإن الله لعفو غفورالَّذِينَ يُظَاهِرُونَ مِنكُم مِّن نِّسَائِهِم مَّا هُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ إِنْ أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ إِلَّا اللَّائِي وَلَدْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَقُولُونَ مُنكَرًا مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ وَزُورًا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يظاهرون - pronounce zihar| منكم - among you| من - [from]| نسائهم - (to) their wives,| ما - not| هن - they| أمهاتهم - (are) their mothers.| إن - Not| أمهاتهم - (are) their mothers| إلا - except| اللائي - those who| ولدنهم - gave them birth.| وإنهم - And indeed, they| ليقولون - surely say| منكرا - an evil| من - [of]| القول - [the] word| وزورا - and a lie.| وإن - But indeed,| الله - Allah| لعفو - (is) surely, Oft-Pardoning,| غفور - Oft-Forgiving.| | ||||||
| 2 [58:3] | Waallatheena yuthahiroonamin nisa-ihim thumma yaAAoodoona lima qaloofatahreeru raqabatin min qabli an yatamassa thalikumtooAAathoona bihi waAllahu bimataAAmaloona khabeerun | والذين يظاهرون من نسائهم ثم يعودون لما قالوا فتحرير رقبة من قبل أن يتماسا ذلكم توعظون به والله بما تعملون خبير وَالَّذِينَ يُظَاهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَائِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَاسَّا ذَلِكُمْ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| يظاهرون - pronounce zihar| من - [from]| نسائهم - (to) their wives| ثم - then| يعودون - go back| لما - on what| قالوا - they said,| فتحرير - then freeing| رقبة - (of) a slave| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يتماسا - they touch each other.| ذلكم - That| توعظون - you are admonished| به - to it.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبير - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
