| 1 [3:69] | Waddat ta-ifatun min ahli alkitabilaw yudilloonakum wama yudilloona illaanfusahum wama yashAAuroona |  ودت طائفة من أهل الكتاب لو يضلونكم وما يضلون إلا أنفسهم وما يشعرونوَدَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ودت - Wished| طائفة - a group| من - from| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| لو - if| يضلونكم - they could lead you astray,| وما - and not| يضلون - they lead astray| إلا - except| أنفسهم - themselves| وما - and not| يشعرون - they perceive.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:113] | Walawla fadlu AllahiAAalayka warahmatuhu lahammat ta-ifatun minhum anyudillooka wama yudilloona illaanfusahum wama yadurroonaka min shay-in waanzalaAllahu AAalayka alkitaba waalhikmatawaAAallamaka ma lam takun taAAlamu wakana fadluAllahi AAalayka AAatheeman | ولولا فضل الله عليك ورحمته لهمت طائفة منهم أن يضلوك وما يضلون إلا أنفسهم وما يضرونك من شيء وأنزل الله عليك الكتاب والحكمة وعلمك ما لم تكن تعلم وكان فضل الله عليك عظيما وَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَيْءٍ وَأَنزَلَ اللّهُ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُنْ تَعْلَمُ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ اللّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ولولا - And if not| فضل - (for the) Grace| الله - (of) Allah| عليك - upon you| ورحمته - and His Mercy -| لهمت - surely (had) resolved| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them| أن - to| يضلوك - mislead you.| وما - But not| يضلون - they mislead| إلا - except| أنفسهم - themselves,| وما - and not| يضرونك - they will harm you| من - in| شيء - anything.| وأنزل - And has sent down| الله - Allah| عليك - to you| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and [the] Wisdom| وعلمك - and taught you| ما - what| لم - not| تكن - you did| تعلم - know.| وكان - And is| فضل - (the) Grace| الله - (of) Allah| عليك - upon you| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 3 [38:26] | Ya dawoodu inna jaAAalnakakhaleefatan fee al-ardi faohkum bayna alnnasibialhaqqi wala tattabiAAi alhawa fayudillakaAAan sabeeli Allahi inna allatheena yadilloonaAAan sabeeli Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun bimanasoo yawma alhisabi | يا داوود إنا جعلناك خليفة في الأرض فاحكم بين الناس بالحق ولا تتبع الهوى فيضلك عن سبيل الله إن الذين يضلون عن سبيل الله لهم عذاب شديد بما نسوا يوم الحساب يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| داوود - "O Dawood!| إنا - Indeed, We| جعلناك - [We] have made you| خليفة - a vicegerent| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| فاحكم - so judge| بين - between| الناس - [the] men| بالحق - in truth| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| الهوى - the desire,| فيضلك - for it will lead you astray| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يضلون - go astray| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| شديد - severe| بما - because| نسوا - they forgot| يوم - (the) Day| الحساب - (of) Account."| | ||||||
