| 1 [25:40] | Walaqad ataw AAala alqaryati allateeomtirat matara alssaw-i afalam yakoonooyarawnaha bal kanoo la yarjoona nushooran |  ولقد أتوا على القرية التي أمطرت مطر السوء أفلم يكونوا يرونها بل كانوا لا يرجون نشوراوَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أتوا - they have come| على - upon| القرية - the town| التي - which| أمطرت - was showered| مطر - (with) a rain| السوء - (of) evil.| أفلم - Then do not| يكونوا - they [were]| يرونها - see it?| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they are| لا - not| يرجون - expecting| نشورا - Resurrection.| | ||||||
| 2 [79:46] | Kaannahum yawma yarawnaha lamyalbathoo illa AAashiyyatan aw duhaha | كأنهم يوم يرونها لم يلبثوا إلا عشية أو ضحاها كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا | |||||
| Words | |كأنهم - As though they,| يوم - (the) Day| يرونها - they see it,| لم - not| يلبثوا - they had remained| إلا - except| عشية - an evening| أو - or| ضحاها - a morning thereof.| | ||||||
