| 1 [2:221] | Wala tankihoo almushrikatihatta yu/minna walaamatun mu/minatun khayrun minmushrikatin walaw aAAjabatkum wala tunkihooalmushrikeena hatta yu/minoo walaAAabdun mu/minunkhayrun min mushrikin walaw aAAjabakum ola-ika yadAAoonaila alnnari waAllahu yadAAooila aljannati waalmaghfirati bi-ithnihiwayubayyinu ayatihi lilnnasilaAAallahum yatathakkaroona |  ولا تنكحوا المشركات حتى يؤمن ولأمة مؤمنة خير من مشركة ولو أعجبتكم ولا تنكحوا المشركين حتى يؤمنوا ولعبد مؤمن خير من مشرك ولو أعجبكم أولئك يدعون إلى النار والله يدعو إلى الجنة والمغفرة بإذنه ويبين آياته للناس لعلهم يتذكرونوَلاَ تَنكِحُواْ الْمُشْرِكَاتِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَّ وَلَأَمَةٌ مُّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكَةٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ وَلاَ تُنكِحُواْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنُواْ وَلَعَبْدٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌ مِّن مُّشْرِكٍ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ أُوْلَـئِكَ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَاللّهُ يَدْعُوَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيُبَيِّنُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تنكحوا - [you] marry| المشركات - [the] polytheistic women| حتى - until| يؤمن - they believe.| ولأمة - And a bondwoman| مؤمنة - (who is) believing| خير - (is) better| من - than| مشركة - a polytheistic woman| ولو - [and] even if| أعجبتكم - she pleases you.| ولا - And (do) not| تنكحوا - give in marriage (your women)| المشركين - (to) [the] polytheistic men| حتى - until| يؤمنوا - they believe,| ولعبد - and a bondman| مؤمن - (who is) believing| خير - (is) better| من - than| مشرك - a polytheistic man| ولو - [and] even if| أعجبكم - he pleases you.| أولئك - [Those]| يدعون - they invite| إلى - to| النار - the Fire,| والله - and Allah| يدعو - invites| إلى - to| الجنة - Paradise| والمغفرة - and [the] forgiveness| بإذنه - by His permission.| ويبين - And He makes clear| آياته - His Verses| للناس - for the people| لعلهم - so that they may| يتذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:25] | WaAllahu yadAAoo ila darialssalami wayahdee man yashao ila siratinmustaqeemin | والله يدعو إلى دار السلام ويهدي من يشاء إلى صراط مستقيم وَاللّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلاَمِ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| يدعو - calls| إلى - to| دار - (the) Home| السلام - (of) the Peace,| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| إلى - to| صراط - (the) straight path.| مستقيم - (the) straight path.| | ||||||
| 3 [22:12] | YadAAoo min dooni Allahi ma layadurruhu wama la yanfaAAuhu thalikahuwa alddalalu albaAAeedu | يدعو من دون الله ما لا يضره وما لا ينفعه ذلك هو الضلال البعيد يَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ | |||||
| Words | |يدعو - He calls| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| يضره - harms him| وما - and what| لا - not| ينفعه - benefits him.| ذلك - That| هو - [it]| الضلال - (is) the straying| البعيد - far away.| | ||||||
| 4 [22:13] | YadAAoo laman darruhu aqrabu minnafAAihi labi/sa almawla walabi/sa alAAasheeru | يدعو لمن ضره أقرب من نفعه لبئس المولى ولبئس العشير يَدْعُواْ لَمَن ضَرُّهُ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلَى وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |يدعو - He calls| لمن - (one) who -| ضره - his harm| أقرب - (is) closer| من - than| نفعه - his benefit.| لبئس - Surely, an evil| المولى - protector| ولبئس - and surely an evil| العشير - friend!| | ||||||
| 5 [35:6] | Inna alshshaytana lakumAAaduwwun faittakhithoohu AAaduwwan innamayadAAoo hizbahu liyakoonoo min as-habi alssaAAeeri | إن الشيطان لكم عدو فاتخذوه عدوا إنما يدعو حزبه ليكونوا من أصحاب السعير إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا إِنَّمَا يَدْعُواْ حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| لكم - (is) to you| عدو - an enemy,| فاتخذوه - so take him| عدوا - (as) an enemy.| إنما - Only| يدعو - he invites| حزبه - his party| ليكونوا - that they may be| من - among| أصحاب - (the) companions| السعير - (of) the Blaze.| | ||||||
| 6 [39:8] | Wa-itha massa al-insana durrundaAAa rabbahu muneeban ilayhi thumma ithakhawwalahu niAAmatan minhu nasiya ma kana yadAAooilayhi min qablu wajaAAala lillahi andadan liyudillaAAan sabeelihi qul tamattaAA bikufrika qaleelan innaka min as-habialnnari | وإذا مس الإنسان ضر دعا ربه منيبا إليه ثم إذا خوله نعمة منه نسي ما كان يدعو إليه من قبل وجعل لله أندادا ليضل عن سبيله قل تمتع بكفرك قليلا إنك من أصحاب النار وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُواْ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| مس - touches| الإنسان - [the] man| ضر - adversity,| دعا - he calls| ربه - his Lord| منيبا - turning| إليه - to Him;| ثم - then| إذا - when| خوله - He bestows on him| نعمة - a favor| منه - from Himself,| نسي - he forgets| ما - (for) what| كان - he used to call| يدعو - he used to call| إليه - [to] Him| من - before,| قبل - before,| وجعل - and he sets up| لله - to Allah| أندادا - rivals| ليضل - to mislead| عن - from| سبيله - His Path.| قل - Say,| تمتع - "Enjoy| بكفرك - in your disbelief| قليلا - (for) a little.| إنك - Indeed, you| من - (are) of| أصحاب - (the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire."| | ||||||
| 7 [46:5] | Waman adallu mimman yadAAoo min dooniAllahi man la yastajeebu lahu ila yawmialqiyamati wahum AAan duAAa-ihim ghafiloona | ومن أضل ممن يدعو من دون الله من لا يستجيب له إلى يوم القيامة وهم عن دعائهم غافلون وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُواْ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَن لَّا يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِلَى يَومِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَائِهِمْ غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أضل - (is) more astray| ممن - than (he) who| يدعو - calls| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| من - who| لا - will not respond| يستجيب - will not respond| له - to him| إلى - until| يوم - (the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection,| وهم - and they| عن - of| دعائهم - their calls| غافلون - (are) unaware.| | ||||||
| 8 [84:11] | Fasawfa yadAAoo thubooran | فسوف يدعو ثبورا فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُواْ ثُبُورًا | |||||
