| 1 [2:86] | Ola-ika allatheena ishtarawooalhayata alddunya bial-akhiratifala yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala humyunsaroona |  أولئك الذين اشتروا الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة فلا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينصرونأُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ فَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| اشتروا - bought| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| بالآخرة - for the Hereafter;| فلا - so not| يخفف - will be lightened| عنهم - for them| العذاب - the punishment| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينصرون - will be helped.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:162] | Khalideena feeha layukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yuntharoona | خالدين فيها لا يخفف عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينظرون خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا لاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ | |||||

| 4 [4:28] | Yureedu Allahu an yukhaffifa AAankumwakhuliqa al-insanu daAAeefan | يريد الله أن يخفف عنكم وخلق الإنسان ضعيفا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ وَخُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفًا | |||||

| 5 [16:85] | Wa-itha raa allatheena thalamooalAAathaba fala yukhaffafu AAanhum wala humyuntharoona | وإذا رأى الذين ظلموا العذاب فلا يخفف عنهم ولا هم ينظرون وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ الْعَذَابَ فَلاَ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأى - (will) see| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| العذاب - the punishment,| فلا - then not| يخفف - it will be lightened| عنهم - for them| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينظرون - will be given respite.| | ||||||
| 6 [35:36] | Waallatheena kafaroo lahum narujahannama la yuqda AAalayhim fayamootoo walayukhaffafu AAanhum min AAathabiha kathalikanajzee kulla kafoorin | والذين كفروا لهم نار جهنم لا يقضى عليهم فيموتوا ولا يخفف عنهم من عذابها كذلك نجزي كل كفور وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُم مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| لهم - for them| نار - (will be the) Fire| جهنم - (of) Hell.| لا - Not| يقضى - is decreed| عليهم - for them| فيموتوا - that they die,| ولا - and not| يخفف - will be lightened| عنهم - for them| من - of| عذابها - its torment.| كذلك - Thus| نجزي - We recompense| كل - every| كفور - ungrateful one.| | ||||||
| 7 [40:49] | Waqala allatheena fee alnnarilikhazanati jahannama odAAoo rabbakum yukhaffif AAannayawman mina alAAathabi | وقال الذين في النار لخزنة جهنم ادعوا ربكم يخفف عنا يوما من العذاب وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ فِي النَّارِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ يُخَفِّفْ عَنَّا يَوْمًا مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الذين - those| في - in| النار - the Fire| لخزنة - to (the) keepers| جهنم - (of) Hell,| ادعوا - "Call| ربكم - your Lord| يخفف - (to) lighten| عنا - for us| يوما - a day| من - of| العذاب - the punishment."| | ||||||
