[2:20] | Yakadu albarqu yakhtafu absarahumkullama adaa lahum mashaw feehi wa-itha athlamaAAalayhim qamoo walaw shaa Allahu lathahababisamAAihim waabsarihim inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun
|  يكاد البرق يخطف أبصارهم كلما أضاء لهم مشوا فيه وإذا أظلم عليهم قاموا ولو شاء الله لذهب بسمعهم وأبصارهم إن الله على كل شيء قدير
يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْاْ فِيهِ وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُواْ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّه عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |
| Words | |يكاد - Almost| البرق - the lightning| يخطف - snatches away| أبصارهم - their sight.| كلما - Whenever| أضاء - it flashes| لهم - for them| مشوا - they walk| فيه - in it,| وإذا - and when| أظلم - it darkens| عليهم - on them| قاموا - they stand (still).| ولو - And if| شاء - had willed| الله - Allah,| لذهب - He would certainly have taken away| بسمعهم - their hearing,| وأبصارهم - and their sight.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| |
