| 1 [2:143] | Wakathalika jaAAalnakumommatan wasatan litakoonoo shuhadaa AAala alnnasiwayakoona alrrasoolu AAalaykum shaheedan wamajaAAalna alqiblata allatee kunta AAalayha illalinaAAlama man yattabiAAu alrrasoola mimman yanqalibu AAalaAAaqibayhi wa-in kanat lakabeeratan illa AAalaallatheena hada Allahu wama kanaAllahu liyudeeAAa eemanakum inna Allahabialnnasi laraoofun raheemun |  وكذلك جعلناكم أمة وسطا لتكونوا شهداء على الناس ويكون الرسول عليكم شهيدا وما جعلنا القبلة التي كنت عليها إلا لنعلم من يتبع الرسول ممن ينقلب على عقبيه وإن كانت لكبيرة إلا على الذين هدى الله وما كان الله ليضيع إيمانكم إن الله بالناس لرءوف رحيموَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا لِّتَكُونُواْ شُهَدَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَيَكُونَ الرَّسُولُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيدًا وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الْقِبْلَةَ الَّتِي كُنتَ عَلَيْهَا إِلاَّ لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يَتَّبِعُ الرَّسُولَ مِمَّن يَنقَلِبُ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ وَإِن كَانَتْ لَكَبِيرَةً إِلاَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللّهُ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| جعلناكم - We made you| أمة - a community| وسطا - (of the) middle way| لتكونوا - so that you will be| شهداء - witnesses| على - over| الناس - the mankind,| ويكون - and will be| الرسول - the Messenger| عليكم - on you| شهيدا - a witness.| وما - And not| جعلنا - We made| القبلة - the direction of prayer| التي - which| كنت - you were used to| عليها - [on it]| إلا - except| لنعلم - that We make evident| من - (he) who| يتبع - follows| الرسول - the Messenger| ممن - from (he) who| ينقلب - turns back| على - on| عقبيه - his heels.| وإن - And indeed,| كانت - it was| لكبيرة - certainly a great (test)| إلا - except| على - for| الذين - those whom| هدى - guided| الله - (by) Allah.| وما - And not| كان - will| الله - Allah| ليضيع - let go waste| إيمانكم - your faith.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| بالناس - (is) to [the] mankind| لرءوف - Full of Kindness,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:35] | Qul hal min shuraka-ikum man yahdeeila alhaqqi quli Allahu yahdee lilhaqqiafaman yahdee ila alhaqqi ahaqqu anyuttabaAAa amman la yahiddee illa an yuhdafama lakum kayfa tahkumoona | قل هل من شركائكم من يهدي إلى الحق قل الله يهدي للحق أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى فما لكم كيف تحكمون قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لاَّ يَهِدِّيَ إِلاَّ أَن يُهْدَى فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هل - "Is (there)| من - of| شركائكم - your partners| من - (any) who| يهدي - guides| إلى - to| الحق - the truth?"| قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| يهدي - guides| للحق - to the truth.| أفمن - Is then (he) who| يهدي - guides| إلى - to| الحق - the truth| أحق - more worthy| أن - that| يتبع - he should be followed| أمن - or (he) who| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| إلا - unless| أن - [that]| يهدى - he is guided?| فما - Then what| لكم - (is) for you,| كيف - how| تحكمون - you judge?"| | ||||||
| 3 [10:36] | Wama yattabiAAu aktharuhum illathannan inna alththanna layughnee mina alhaqqi shay-an inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yafAAaloona | وما يتبع أكثرهم إلا ظنا إن الظن لا يغني من الحق شيئا إن الله عليم بما يفعلون وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلاَّ ظَنًّا إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يتبع - follow| أكثرهم - most of them| إلا - except| ظنا - assumption.| إن - Indeed,| الظن - the assumption| لا - (does) not| يغني - avail| من - against| الحق - the truth| شيئا - anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يفعلون - they do.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:66] | Ala inna lillahi man fee alssamawatiwaman fee al-ardi wama yattabiAAu allatheenayadAAoona min dooni Allahi shurakaa inyattabiAAoona illa alththanna wa-inhum illa yakhrusoona | ألا إن لله من في السماوات ومن في الأرض وما يتبع الذين يدعون من دون الله شركاء إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون أَلاَ إِنَّ لِلّهِ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ شُرَكَاءَ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألا - No doubt!| إن - Indeed,| لله - to Allah (belongs)| من - whoever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| ومن - and whoever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| وما - And not| يتبع - follow| الذين - those who| يدعون - invoke| من - other than Allah| دون - other than Allah| الله - other than Allah| شركاء - partners.| إن - Not| يتبعون - they follow| إلا - but| الظن - the assumption| وإن - and not| هم - they| إلا - but| يخرصون - guess.| | ||||||
| 5 [24:21] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattabiAAoo khutuwati alshshaytaniwaman yattabiAA khutuwati alshshaytanifa-innahu ya/muru bialfahsha-i waalmunkariwalawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhuma zaka minkum min ahadin abadan walakinnaAllaha yuzakkee man yashao waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتبعوا خطوات الشيطان ومن يتبع خطوات الشيطان فإنه يأمر بالفحشاء والمنكر ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته ما زكى منكم من أحد أبدا ولكن الله يزكي من يشاء والله سميع عليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ وَمَن يَتَّبِعْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًا وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يُزَكِّي مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Do) not| تتبعوا - follow| خطوات - (the) footsteps| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan,| ومن - and whoever| يتبع - follows| خطوات - (the) footsteps| الشيطان - (of) the Shaitaan| فإنه - then indeed, he| يأمر - commands| بالفحشاء - the immorality| والمنكر - and the evil.| ولولا - And if not| فضل - (for the) Grace of Allah| الله - (for the) Grace of Allah| عليكم - upon you| ورحمته - and His Mercy| ما - not| زكى - (would) have been pure| منكم - among you| من - anyone| أحد - anyone| أبدا - ever,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| يزكي - purifies| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| والله - And Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearer,| عليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
