| 1 [2:148] | Walikullin wijhatun huwa muwalleehafaistabiqoo alkhayrati aynama takoonoo ya/tibikumu Allahu jameeAAan inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun |  ولكل وجهة هو موليها فاستبقوا الخيرات أين ما تكونوا يأت بكم الله جميعا إن الله على كل شيء قديروَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُواْ الْخَيْرَاتِ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُواْ يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللّهُ جَمِيعًا إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولكل - And for everyone| وجهة - (is) a direction -| هو - he| موليها - turns towards it,| فاستبقوا - so race| الخيرات - (to) the good.| أين - Wherever| ما - that| تكونوا - you will be| يأت - will bring| بكم - you| الله - (by) Allah| جميعا - together.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:161] | Wama kana linabiyyin anyaghulla waman yaghlul ya/ti bima ghalla yawma alqiyamatithumma tuwaffa kullu nafsin ma kasabat wahum layuthlamoona | وما كان لنبي أن يغل ومن يغلل يأت بما غل يوم القيامة ثم توفى كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَغُلَّ وَمَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| لنبي - for a Prophet| أن - that| يغل - he defrauds.| ومن - And whoever| يغلل - defrauds| يأت - will bring| بما - what| غل - he had defrauded| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection.| ثم - Then| توفى - is repaid in full| كل - every| نفس - soul| ما - what| كسبت - it earned| وهم - and they| لا - (will) not| يظلمون - be wronged.| | ||||||
| 3 [11:105] | Yawma ya/ti la takallamu nafsun illabi-ithnihi faminhum shaqiyyun wasaAAeedin | يوم يأت لا تكلم نفس إلا بإذنه فمنهم شقي وسعيد يَوْمَ يَأْتِ لاَ تَكَلَّمُ نَفْسٌ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ فَمِنْهُمْ شَقِيٌّ وَسَعِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| يأت - (it) comes| لا - not| تكلم - will speak| نفس - a soul| إلا - except| بإذنه - by His leave.| فمنهم - Then among them| شقي - (will be the) wretched,| وسعيد - and (the) glad.| | ||||||
| 4 [12:93] | Ithhaboo biqameesee hathafaalqoohu AAala wajhi abee ya/ti baseeran wa/tooneebi-ahlikum ajmaAAeena | اذهبوا بقميصي هذا فألقوه على وجه أبي يأت بصيرا وأتوني بأهلكم أجمعين اذْهَبُواْ بِقَمِيصِي هَـذَا فَأَلْقُوهُ عَلَى وَجْهِ أَبِي يَأْتِ بَصِيرًا وَأْتُونِي بِأَهْلِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |اذهبوا - Go| بقميصي - with this shirt of mine| هذا - with this shirt of mine| فألقوه - and cast it| على - over| وجه - (the) face| أبي - (of) my father,| يأت - he will regain sight.| بصيرا - he will regain sight.| وأتوني - And bring to me| بأهلكم - your family| أجمعين - all together."| | ||||||
| 5 [16:76] | Wadaraba Allahu mathalanrajulayni ahaduhuma abkamu la yaqdiru AAalashay-in wahuwa kallun AAala mawlahu aynamayuwajjihhu la ya/ti bikhayrin hal yastawee huwa wamanya/muru bialAAadli wahuwa AAala siratinmustaqeemin | وضرب الله مثلا رجلين أحدهما أبكم لا يقدر على شيء وهو كل على مولاه أينما يوجهه لا يأت بخير هل يستوي هو ومن يأمر بالعدل وهو على صراط مستقيم وَضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً رَّجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكَمُ لاَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَى مَوْلاَهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لاَ يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي هُوَ وَمَن يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَهُوَ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وضرب - And Allah sets forth| الله - And Allah sets forth| مثلا - an example| رجلين - (of) two men,| أحدهما - one of them| أبكم - (is) dumb,| لا - not| يقدر - he has power| على - on| شيء - anything,| وهو - while he| كل - (is) a burden| على - on| مولاه - his master.| أينما - Wherever| يوجهه - he directs him| لا - not| يأت - he comes| بخير - with any good.| هل - Is| يستوي - equal| هو - he| ومن - and (the one) who| يأمر - commands| بالعدل - [of] justice,| وهو - and he| على - (is) on| صراط - a path| مستقيم - straight?| | ||||||
| 6 [20:74] | Innahu man ya/ti rabbahu mujriman fa-innalahu jahannama la yamootu feeha wala yahya | إنه من يأت ربه مجرما فإن له جهنم لا يموت فيها ولا يحيى إِنَّهُ مَن يَأْتِ رَبَّهُ مُجْرِمًا فَإِنَّ لَهُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَى | |||||
| Words | |إنه - Indeed, he| من - who| يأت - comes| ربه - (to) his Lord| مجرما - (as) a criminal| فإن - then indeed,| له - for him| جهنم - (is) Hell.| لا - Not| يموت - he will die| فيها - in it| ولا - and not| يحيى - live.| | ||||||
| 7 [23:68] | Afalam yaddabbaroo alqawla am jaahumma lam ya/ti abaahumu al-awwaleena | أفلم يدبروا القول أم جاءهم ما لم يأت آباءهم الأولين أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَاءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ آبَاءَهُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أفلم - Then, do not| يدبروا - they ponder| القول - the Word| أم - or| جاءهم - has come to them| ما - what| لم - not| يأت - (had) come| آباءهم - (to) their forefathers?| الأولين - (to) their forefathers?| | ||||||
| 8 [31:16] | Ya bunayya innaha in takumithqala habbatin min khardalin fatakun fee sakhratinaw fee alssamawati aw fee al-ardiya/ti biha Allahu inna Allaha lateefunkhabeerun | يا بني إنها إن تك مثقال حبة من خردل فتكن في صخرة أو في السماوات أو في الأرض يأت بها الله إن الله لطيف خبير يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| بني - "O my son!| إنها - Indeed it,| إن - if| تك - it be| مثقال - (the) weight| حبة - (of) a grain| من - of| خردل - a mustard seed,| فتكن - and it be| في - in| صخرة - a rock| أو - or| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| أو - or| في - in| الأرض - the earth| يأت - Allah will bring it forth.| بها - Allah will bring it forth.| الله - Allah will bring it forth.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لطيف - (is) All-Subtle,| خبير - All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 9 [33:20] | Yahsaboona al-ahzabalam yathhaboo wa-in ya/ti al-ahzabu yawaddoolaw annahum badoona fee al-aAArabi yas-aloona AAananba-ikum walaw kanoo feekum ma qatalooilla qaleelan | يحسبون الأحزاب لم يذهبوا وإن يأت الأحزاب يودوا لو أنهم بادون في الأعراب يسألون عن أنبائكم ولو كانوا فيكم ما قاتلوا إلا قليلا يَحْسَبُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا وَإِن يَأْتِ الْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَنبَائِكُمْ وَلَوْ كَانُوا فِيكُم مَّا قَاتَلُوا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |يحسبون - They think| الأحزاب - the confederates| لم - (have) not| يذهبوا - withdrawn.| وإن - And if| يأت - (should) come| الأحزاب - the confederates| يودوا - they would wish| لو - if| أنهم - that they (were)| بادون - living in (the) desert| في - among| الأعراب - the Bedouins,| يسألون - asking| عن - about| أنبائكم - your news.| ولو - And if| كانوا - they were| فيكم - among you| ما - not| قاتلوا - they would fight| إلا - except| قليلا - a little.| | ||||||
| 10 [33:30] | Ya nisaa alnnabiyyi manya/ti minkunna bifahishatin mubayyinatin yudaAAaflaha alAAathabu diAAfayni wakana thalikaAAala Allahi yaseeran | يا نساء النبي من يأت منكن بفاحشة مبينة يضاعف لها العذاب ضعفين وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا يَا نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ مَن يَأْتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ يُضَاعَفْ لَهَا الْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| نساء - O wives| النبي - (of) the Prophet!| من - Whoever| يأت - commits| منكن - from you| بفاحشة - immorality| مبينة - clear,| يضاعف - will be doubled| لها - for her| العذاب - the punishment| ضعفين - two fold.| وكان - And that is| ذلك - And that is| على - for| الله - Allah| يسيرا - easy.| | ||||||
