| 1 [2:284] | Lillahi ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi wa-in tubdoo ma feeanfusikum aw tukhfoohu yuhasibkum bihi Allahufayaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibu man yashaowaAllahu AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun |  لله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وإن تبدوا ما في أنفسكم أو تخفوه يحاسبكم به الله فيغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء والله على كل شيء قديرلِّلَّهِ ما فِي السَّمَاواتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِن تُبْدُواْ مَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُم بِهِ اللّهُ فَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |لله - To Allah (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| وإن - And if| تبدوا - you disclose| ما - what| في - (is) in| أنفسكم - yourselves| أو - or| تخفوه - you conceal it,| يحاسبكم - will call you to account| به - for it| الله - Allah.| فيغفر - Then, He will forgive| لمن - [to] whom| يشاء - He wills,| ويعذب - and He will punish| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| والله - And Allah| على - on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - (is) All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:129] | Walillahi ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi yaghfiru liman yashaowayuAAaththibu man yashao waAllahughafoorun raheemun | ولله ما في السماوات وما في الأرض يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء والله غفور رحيم وَلِلّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||

| 3 [5:18] | Waqalati alyahoodu waalnnasaranahnu abnao Allahi waahibbaohuqul falima yuAAaththibukum bithunoobikum bal antumbasharun mimman khalaqa yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibuman yashao walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama baynahuma wa-ilayhialmaseeru | وقالت اليهود والنصارى نحن أبناء الله وأحباؤه قل فلم يعذبكم بذنوبكم بل أنتم بشر ممن خلق يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء ولله ملك السماوات والأرض وما بينهما وإليه المصير وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said,| اليهود - the Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| نحن - "We (are)| أبناء - (the) children| الله - (of) Allah| وأحباؤه - and His beloved."| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| يعذبكم - (does He) punish you| بذنوبكم - for your sins?"| بل - Nay,| أنتم - you (are)| بشر - human beings| ممن - from among (those)| خلق - He created.| يغفر - He forgives| لمن - [for] whom| يشاء - He wills| ويعذب - and punishes| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ولله - And for Allah| ملك - (is the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between them,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
| 4 [33:24] | Liyajziya Allahu alssadiqeenabisidqihim wayuAAaththiba almunafiqeena inshaa aw yatooba AAalayhim inna Allaha kanaghafooran raheeman | ليجزي الله الصادقين بصدقهم ويعذب المنافقين إن شاء أو يتوب عليهم إن الله كان غفورا رحيما لِّيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ الصَّادِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِن شَاءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ليجزي - That Allah may reward| الله - That Allah may reward| الصادقين - the truthful| بصدقهم - for their truth| ويعذب - and punish| المنافقين - the hypocrites| إن - if| شاء - He wills| أو - or| يتوب - turn in mercy| عليهم - to them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 5 [48:6] | WayuAAaththiba almunafiqeena waalmunafiqatiwaalmushrikeena waalmushrikati alththanneenabiAllahi thanna alssaw-iAAalayhim da-iratu alssaw-i waghadiba AllahuAAalayhim walaAAanahum waaAAadda lahum jahannama wasaat maseeran | ويعذب المنافقين والمنافقات والمشركين والمشركات الظانين بالله ظن السوء عليهم دائرة السوء وغضب الله عليهم ولعنهم وأعد لهم جهنم وساءت مصيرا وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ الظَّانِّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيْرًا | |||||
| Words | |ويعذب - And He (may) punish| المنافقين - the hypocrite men| والمنافقات - and the hypocrite women| والمشركين - and the polytheist men| والمشركات - and the polytheist women,| الظانين - who assume| بالله - about Allah| ظن - an assumption| السوء - evil.| عليهم - Upon them| دائرة - (is) a turn| السوء - (of) evil,| وغضب - and Allah's wrath (is)| الله - and Allah's wrath (is)| عليهم - upon them| ولعنهم - and He has cursed them| وأعد - and prepared| لهم - for them| جهنم - Hell,| وساءت - and evil| مصيرا - (is the) destination.| | ||||||
| 6 [48:14] | Walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibuman yashao wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman | ولله ملك السماوات والأرض يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء وكان الله غفورا رحيما وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
