| 1 [13:6] | WayastaAAjiloonaka bialssayyi-atiqabla alhasanati waqad khalat min qablihimu almathulatuwa-inna rabbaka lathoo maghfiratin lilnnasiAAala thulmihim wa-inna rabbaka lashadeedualAAiqabi |  ويستعجلونك بالسيئة قبل الحسنة وقد خلت من قبلهم المثلات وإن ربك لذو مغفرة للناس على ظلمهم وإن ربك لشديد العقابوَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلاَتُ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |ويستعجلونك - And they ask you to hasten| بالسيئة - the evil| قبل - before| الحسنة - the good| وقد - and verily| خلت - has occurred| من - from| قبلهم - before them| المثلات - [the] similar punishments.| وإن - And indeed,| ربك - your Lord| لذو - (is) full| مغفرة - (of) forgiveness| للناس - for mankind| على - for| ظلمهم - their wrongdoing,| وإن - and indeed,| ربك - your Lord| لشديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) the penalty.| | ||||||
| 2 [22:47] | WayastaAAjiloonaka bialAAathabiwalan yukhlifa Allahu waAAdahu wa-inna yawman AAindarabbika kaalfi sanatin mimma taAAuddoona | ويستعجلونك بالعذاب ولن يخلف الله وعده وإن يوما عند ربك كألف سنة مما تعدون وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَن يُخْلِفَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَإِنَّ يَوْمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويستعجلونك - And they ask you to hasten| بالعذاب - the punishment.| ولن - But never will| يخلف - Allah fail| الله - Allah fail| وعده - (in) His Promise.| وإن - And indeed,| يوما - a day| عند - with| ربك - your Lord| كألف - (is) like a thousand| سنة - year(s)| مما - of what| تعدون - you count.| | ||||||
| 3 [29:53] | WayastaAAjiloonaka bialAAathabiwalawla ajalun musamman lajaahumu alAAathabuwalaya/tiyannahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona | ويستعجلونك بالعذاب ولولا أجل مسمى لجاءهم العذاب وليأتينهم بغتة وهم لا يشعرون وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويستعجلونك - And they ask you to hasten| بالعذاب - [with] the punishment.| ولولا - And if not| أجل - (for) a term| مسمى - appointed,| لجاءهم - surely (would) have come to them| العذاب - the punishment.| وليأتينهم - But it will surely come to them| بغتة - suddenly| وهم - while they| لا - (do) not| يشعرون - perceive.| | ||||||
