| 1 [6:61] | Wahuwa alqahiru fawqa AAibadihiwayursilu AAalaykum hafathatan hattaitha jaa ahadakumu almawtu tawaffat-hurusuluna wahum la yufarritoona |  وهو القاهر فوق عباده ويرسل عليكم حفظة حتى إذا جاء أحدكم الموت توفته رسلنا وهم لا يفرطونوَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ عَلَيْكُم حَفَظَةً حَتَّىَ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ تَوَفَّتْهُ رُسُلُنَا وَهُمْ لاَ يُفَرِّطُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| القاهر - (is) the Subjugator| فوق - over| عباده - His slaves,| ويرسل - and He sends| عليكم - over you| حفظة - guardians| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاء - comes| أحدكم - (to) anyone of you| الموت - the death| توفته - take him| رسلنا - Our messengers,| وهم - and they| لا - (do) not| يفرطون - fail.| | ||||||
| 2 [13:13] | Wayusabbihu alrraAAdu bihamdihiwaalmala-ikatu min kheefatihi wayursilu alssawaAAiqafayuseebu biha man yashao wahum yujadiloonafee Allahi wahuwa shadeedu almihali | ويسبح الرعد بحمده والملائكة من خيفته ويرسل الصواعق فيصيب بها من يشاء وهم يجادلون في الله وهو شديد المحال وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي اللّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ | |||||
| Words | |ويسبح - And glorifies| الرعد - the thunder| بحمده - with his praise -| والملائكة - and the Angels| من - for| خيفته - fear of Him.| ويرسل - And He sends| الصواعق - the thunderbolts| فيصيب - and strikes| بها - with it| من - whom| يشاء - He wills,| وهم - yet they| يجادلون - dispute| في - about| الله - Allah.| وهو - And He| شديد - (is) Mighty| المحال - (in) Strength.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:40] | FaAAasa rabbee an yu/tiyani khayranmin jannatika wayursila AAalayha husbananmina alssama-i fatusbiha saAAeedanzalaqan | فعسى ربي أن يؤتين خيرا من جنتك ويرسل عليها حسبانا من السماء فتصبح صعيدا زلقا فَعَسَى رَبِّي أَن يُؤْتِيَنِ خَيْرًا مِّن جَنَّتِكَ وَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهَا حُسْبَانًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتُصْبِحَ صَعِيدًا زَلَقًا | |||||
| Words | |فعسى - It may be| ربي - that my Lord| أن - that my Lord| يؤتين - will give me| خيرا - better| من - than| جنتك - your garden| ويرسل - and will send| عليها - upon it| حسبانا - a calamity| من - from| السماء - the sky,| فتصبح - then it will become| صعيدا - ground| زلقا - slippery,| | ||||||
| 4 [39:42] | Allahu yatawaffa al-anfusa heenamawtiha waallatee lam tamut fee manamihafayumsiku allatee qada AAalayha almawta wayursilual-okhra ila ajalin musamman inna fee thalikalaayatin liqawmin yatafakkaroona | الله يتوفى الأنفس حين موتها والتي لم تمت في منامها فيمسك التي قضى عليها الموت ويرسل الأخرى إلى أجل مسمى إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَالَّتِي لَمْ تَمُتْ فِي مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ الَّتِي قَضَى عَلَيْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ الْأُخْرَى إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| يتوفى - takes| الأنفس - the souls| حين - (at the) time| موتها - (of) their death,| والتي - and the one who| لم - (does) not| تمت - die| في - in| منامها - their sleep.| فيمسك - Then He keeps| التي - the one whom,| قضى - He has decreed| عليها - for them| الموت - the death,| ويرسل - and sends| الأخرى - the others| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - specified.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) signs| لقوم - for a people| يتفكرون - who ponder.| | ||||||
