| 1 [2:155] | Walanabluwannakum bishay-in mina alkhawfiwaaljooAAi wanaqsin mina al-amwali waal-anfusiwaalththamarati wabashshiri alssabireena |  ولنبلونكم بشيء من الخوف والجوع ونقص من الأموال والأنفس والثمرات وبشر الصابرينوَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوفْ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولنبلونكم - And surely We will test you| بشيء - with something| من - of| الخوف - [the] fear| والجوع - and [the] hunger| ونقص - and loss| من - of| الأموال - [the] wealth| والأنفس - and [the] lives| والثمرات - and [the] fruits,| وبشر - but give good news| الصابرين - (to) the patient ones.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:130] | Walaqad akhathna alafirAAawna bialssineena wanaqsin mina alththamaratilaAAallahum yaththakkaroona | ولقد أخذنا آل فرعون بالسنين ونقص من الثمرات لعلهم يذكرون وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَونَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّن الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| أخذنا - We seized| آل - (the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun| بالسنين - with years (of famine)| ونقص - and a deficit| من - of| الثمرات - [the] fruits,| لعلهم - so that they may| يذكرون - receive admonition.| | ||||||
