| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أنزلنا - We have sent down| إليكم - to you| آيات - Verses| مبينات - clear,| ومثلا - and an example| من - of| الذين - those who| خلوا - passed away| من - before you,| قبلكم - before you,| وموعظة - and an admonition| للمتقين - for those who fear (Allah).| | ||||||
| 2 [43:56] | FajaAAalnahum salafan wamathalan lil-akhireena | فجعلناهم سلفا ومثلا للآخرين فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِلْآخِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فجعلناهم - And We made them| سلفا - a precedent| ومثلا - and an example| للآخرين - for the later (generations).| | ||||||
