| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[31:14] | Wawassayna al-insanabiwalidayhi hamalat-hu ommuhu wahnan AAalawahnin wafisaluhu fee AAamayni ani oshkur lee waliwalidaykailayya almaseeru
|  ووصينا الإنسان بوالديه حملته أمه وهنا على وهن وفصاله في عامين أن اشكر لي ولوالديك إلي المصير
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَى وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ |
| Words | |ووصينا - And We have enjoined| الإنسان - (upon) man| بوالديه - for his parents -| حملته - carried him| أمه - his mother| وهنا - (in) weakness| على - upon| وهن - weakness,| وفصاله - and his weaning| في - (is) in| عامين - two years| أن - that| اشكر - "Be grateful| لي - to Me| ولوالديك - and to your parents;| إلي - towards Me| المصير - (is) the destination.| |
