| 1 [7:164] | Wa-ith qalat ommatun minhumlima taAAithoona qawman Allahu muhlikuhum awmuAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan qaloomaAAthiratan ila rabbikum walaAAallahum yattaqoona |  وإذ قالت أمة منهم لم تعظون قوما الله مهلكهم أو معذبهم عذابا شديدا قالوا معذرة إلى ربكم ولعلهم يتقونوَإِذْ قَالَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِّنْهُمْ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوْمًا اللّهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا قَالُواْ مَعْذِرَةً إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| أمة - a community| منهم - among them,| لم - "Why| تعظون - (do) you preach| قوما - a people,| الله - (whom) Allah| مهلكهم - (is going to) destroy them| أو - or| معذبهم - punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| شديدا - severe?"| قالوا - They said,| معذرة - "To be absolved| إلى - before| ربكم - your Lord| ولعلهم - and that they may| يتقون - become righteous."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:174] | Wakathalika nufassilu al-ayatiwalaAAallahum yarjiAAoona | وكذلك نفصل الآيات ولعلهم يرجعون وَكَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| نفصل - We explain| الآيات - the Verses| ولعلهم - so that they may| يرجعون - return.| | ||||||
| 3 [16:44] | Bialbayyinati waalzzuburiwaanzalna ilayka alththikra litubayyina lilnnasima nuzzila ilayhim walaAAallahum yatafakkaroona | بالبينات والزبر وأنزلنا إليك الذكر لتبين للناس ما نزل إليهم ولعلهم يتفكرون بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بالبينات - With the clear proofs| والزبر - and the Books.| وأنزلنا - And We sent down| إليك - to you| الذكر - the Remembrance,| لتبين - that you may make clear| للناس - to the mankind,| ما - what| نزل - has been sent down| إليهم - to them| ولعلهم - and that they may| يتفكرون - reflect.| | ||||||
