| 1 [2:35] | Waqulna ya adamu oskunanta wazawjuka aljannata wakula minha raghadan haythushi/tuma wala taqraba hathihi alshshajaratafatakoona mina alththalimeena |  وقلنا يا آدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة وكلا منها رغدا حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمينوَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلاَ مِنْهَا رَغَداً حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبَا هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الْظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقلنا - And We said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| اسكن - Dwell| أنت - you| وزوجك - and your spouse| الجنة - (in) Paradise,| وكلا - and [you both] eat| منها - from it| رغدا - freely| حيث - (from) wherever| شئتما - you [both] wish.| ولا - But do not| تقربا - [you two] approach| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree,| فتكونا - lest you [both] be| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:36] | Faazallahuma alshshaytanuAAanha faakhrajahuma mimma kanafeehi waqulna ihbitoo baAAdukum libaAAdinAAaduwwun walakum fee al-ardi mustaqarrun wamataAAunila heenin | فأزلهما الشيطان عنها فأخرجهما مما كانا فيه وقلنا اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حين فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَّلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فأزلهما - Then made [both of] them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| عنها - from it,| فأخرجهما - and he got [both of] them out| مما - from what| كانا - they [both] were| فيه - in [it].| وقلنا - And We said,| اهبطوا - "Go down (all of you),| بعضكم - some of you| لبعض - to others| عدو - (as) enemy;| ولكم - and for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مستقر - (is) a dwelling place| ومتاع - and a provision| إلى - for| حين - a period."| | ||||||
| 3 [4:154] | WarafaAAna fawqahumu alttoorabimeethaqihim waqulna lahumu odkhuloo albabasujjadan waqulna lahum la taAAdoo fee alssabtiwaakhathna minhum meethaqan ghaleethan | ورفعنا فوقهم الطور بميثاقهم وقلنا لهم ادخلوا الباب سجدا وقلنا لهم لا تعدوا في السبت وأخذنا منهم ميثاقا غليظا وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَهُمُ الطُّورَ بِمِيثَاقِهِمْ وَقُلْنَا لَهُمُ ادْخُلُواْ الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ لاَ تَعْدُواْ فِي السَّبْتِ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَاقًا غَلِيظًا | |||||
| Words | |ورفعنا - And We raised| فوقهم - over them| الطور - the mount| بميثاقهم - for their covenant,| وقلنا - and We said| لهم - to them,| ادخلوا - "Enter| الباب - the gate,| سجدا - prostrating."| وقلنا - And We said| لهم - to them.| لا - "(Do) not| تعدوا - transgress| في - in| السبت - the Sabbath."| وأخذنا - And We took| منهم - from them| ميثاقا - a covenant| غليظا - solemn.| | ||||||
| 4 [17:104] | Waqulna min baAAdihi libanee isra-eelaoskunoo al-arda fa-itha jaa waAAdu al-akhiratiji/na bikum lafeefan | وقلنا من بعده لبني إسرائيل اسكنوا الأرض فإذا جاء وعد الآخرة جئنا بكم لفيفا وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُواْ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا | |||||
| Words | |وقلنا - And We said| من - after him| بعده - after him| لبني - to the Children of Israel,| إسرائيل - to the Children of Israel,| اسكنوا - "Dwell| الأرض - (in) the land,| فإذا - then when| جاء - comes| وعد - (the) promise| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter,| جئنا - We will bring| بكم - you| لفيفا - (as) a mixed crowd."| | ||||||
| 5 [67:9] | Qaloo bala qad jaananatheerun fakaththabna waqulna manazzala Allahu min shay-in in antum illa fee dalalinkabeerin | قالوا بلى قد جاءنا نذير فكذبنا وقلنا ما نزل الله من شيء إن أنتم إلا في ضلال كبير قَالُوا بَلَى قَدْ جَاءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ كَبِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They will say| بلى - "Yes,| قد - indeed| جاءنا - came to us| نذير - a warner,| فكذبنا - but we denied| وقلنا - and we said,| ما - "Not| نزل - has sent down| الله - Allah| من - any| شيء - thing.| إن - Not| أنتم - you (are)| إلا - but| في - in| ضلال - error| كبير - great."| | ||||||
