| 1 [6:70] | Wathari allatheena ittakhathoodeenahum laAAiban walahwan wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya wathakkir bihi an tubsala nafsunbima kasabat laysa laha min dooni Allahiwaliyyun wala shafeeAAun wa-in taAAdil kulla AAadlin layu/khath minha ola-ika allatheenaobsiloo bima kasaboo lahum sharabun min hameeminwaAAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakfuroona |  وذر الذين اتخذوا دينهم لعبا ولهوا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وذكر به أن تبسل نفس بما كسبت ليس لها من دون الله ولي ولا شفيع وإن تعدل كل عدل لا يؤخذ منها أولئك الذين أبسلوا بما كسبوا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرونوَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لاَّ يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وذر - And leave| الذين - those who| اتخذوا - take| دينهم - their religion| لعبا - (as) a play| ولهوا - and amusement| وغرتهم - and deluded them| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| وذكر - But remind| به - with it,| أن - lest| تبسل - is given up to destruction| نفس - a soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it (has) earned,| ليس - not| لها - (is) for it| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| ولي - any protector| ولا - and not| شفيع - any intercessor.| وإن - And if| تعدل - it offers ransom -| كل - every| عدل - ransom,| لا - not| يؤخذ - will it be taken| منها - from it.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) ones who| أبسلوا - are given to destruction| بما - for what| كسبوا - they earned.| لهم - For them| شراب - (will be) a drink| من - of| حميم - boiling water| وعذاب - and a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 2 [21:24] | Ami ittakhathoo min doonihi alihatanqul hatoo burhanakum hatha thikru manmaAAiya wathikru man qablee bal aktharuhum layaAAlamoona alhaqqa fahum muAAridoona | أم اتخذوا من دونه آلهة قل هاتوا برهانكم هذا ذكر من معي وذكر من قبلي بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون الحق فهم معرضون أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ هَذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِيَ وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِي بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْحَقَّ فَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| اتخذوا - (have) they taken| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| آلهة - gods?| قل - Say,| هاتوا - "Bring| برهانكم - your proof.| هذا - This| ذكر - (is) a Reminder| من - (for those) who| معي - (are) with me,| وذكر - and a Reminder| من - (for those) who| قبلي - (were) before me."| بل - But| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know| الحق - the truth| فهم - so they| معرضون - (are) averse.| | ||||||
| 3 [33:21] | Laqad kana lakum fee rasooli Allahioswatun hasanatun liman kana yarjoo Allahawaalyawma al-akhira wathakara Allahakatheeran | لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر وذكر الله كثيرا لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly,| كان - is| لكم - for you| في - in| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| أسوة - an excellent example| حسنة - an excellent example| لمن - for (one) who| كان - has| يرجو - hope| الله - (in) Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| وذكر - and remembers| الله - Allah| كثيرا - much.| | ||||||
| 4 [47:20] | Wayaqoolu allatheena amanoolawla nuzzilat sooratun fa-itha onzilat sooratun muhkamatunwathukira feeha alqitalu raayta allatheenafee quloobihim maradun yanthuroona ilayka natharaalmaghshiyyi AAalayhi mina almawti faawla lahum | ويقول الذين آمنوا لولا نزلت سورة فإذا أنزلت سورة محكمة وذكر فيها القتال رأيت الذين في قلوبهم مرض ينظرون إليك نظر المغشي عليه من الموت فأولى لهم وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَإِذَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ مُّحْكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فِيهَا الْقِتَالُ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ نَظَرَ الْمَغْشِيِّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَأَوْلَى لَهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |ويقول - And say| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe,| لولا - "Why not| نزلت - has been revealed| سورة - a Surah?"| فإذا - But when| أنزلت - is revealed| سورة - a Surah| محكمة - precise| وذكر - and is mentioned| فيها - in it| القتال - the fighting,| رأيت - you see| الذين - those who,| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts,| مرض - (is) a disease| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you -| نظر - a look| المغشي - (of) one fainting| عليه - (of) one fainting| من - from| الموت - the death.| فأولى - But more appropriate| لهم - for them| | ||||||
| 5 [51:55] | Wathakkir fa-inna alththikratanfaAAu almu/mineena | وذكر فإن الذكرى تنفع المؤمنين وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وذكر - And remind,| فإن - for indeed,| الذكرى - the reminder| تنفع - benefits| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 6 [87:15] | Wathakara isma rabbihi fasalla | وذكر اسم ربه فصلى وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّى | |||||
