| 1 [2:224] | Wala tajAAaloo Allaha AAurdatanli-aymanikum an tabarroo watattaqoo watuslihoobayna alnnasi waAllahu sameeAAunAAaleemun |  ولا تجعلوا الله عرضة لأيمانكم أن تبروا وتتقوا وتصلحوا بين الناس والله سميع عليموَلاَ تَجْعَلُواْ اللّهَ عُرْضَةً لِّأَيْمَانِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَتُصْلِحُواْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تجعلوا - make| الله - Allah's (name)| عرضة - an excuse| لأيمانكم - in your oaths| أن - that| تبروا - you do good,| وتتقوا - and be righteous| وتصلحوا - and make peace| بين - between| الناس - [the] people.| والله - And Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:120] | In tamsaskum hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibkum sayyi-atun yafrahoo bihawa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukumkayduhum shay-an inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun | إن تمسسكم حسنة تسؤهم وإن تصبكم سيئة يفرحوا بها وإن تصبروا وتتقوا لا يضركم كيدهم شيئا إن الله بما يعملون محيط إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُواْ بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تمسسكم - touches you| حسنة - a good,| تسؤهم - it grieves them| وإن - and if| تصبكم - strikes you| سيئة - misfortune,| يفرحوا - they rejoice| بها - at it.| وإن - And if| تصبروا - you are patient| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah),| لا - not| يضركم - will harm you| كيدهم - their plot| شيئا - (in) anything.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah,| بما - of what| يعملون - they do| محيط - (is) All-Encompassing.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:125] | Bala in tasbiroo watattaqoowaya/tookum min fawrihim hatha yumdidkum rabbukumbikhamsati alafin mina almala-ikatimusawwimeena | بلى إن تصبروا وتتقوا ويأتوكم من فورهم هذا يمددكم ربكم بخمسة آلاف من الملائكة مسومين بَلَى إِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَـذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ آلاَفٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |بلى - Yes,| إن - if| تصبروا - you are patient| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah)| ويأتوكم - and they come upon you| من - [of]| فورهم - suddenly,| هذا - [this]| يمددكم - will reinforce you| ربكم - your Lord| بخمسة - with five| آلاف - thousand[s]| من - [of]| الملائكة - [the] Angels| مسومين - [the ones] having marks.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:179] | Ma kana Allahu liyatharaalmu/mineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hattayameeza alkhabeetha mina alttayyibi wama kanaAllahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinnaAllaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoobiAllahi warusulihi wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoofalakum ajrun AAatheemun | ما كان الله ليذر المؤمنين على ما أنتم عليه حتى يميز الخبيث من الطيب وما كان الله ليطلعكم على الغيب ولكن الله يجتبي من رسله من يشاء فآمنوا بالله ورسله وإن تؤمنوا وتتقوا فلكم أجر عظيم مَّا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَمِيزَ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلَكِنَّ اللّهَ يَجْتَبِي مِن رُّسُلِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ فَآمِنُواْ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - is| الله - Allah| ليذر - to leave| المؤمنين - the believers| على - on| ما - what| أنتم - you (are)| عليه - in [it]| حتى - until| يميز - He separates| الخبيث - the evil| من - from| الطيب - the good.| وما - And not| كان - is| الله - Allah| ليطلعكم - to inform you| على - about| الغيب - the unseen,| ولكن - [and] but| الله - Allah| يجتبي - chooses| من - from| رسله - His Messengers| من - whom| يشاء - He wills,| فآمنوا - so believe| بالله - in Allah| ورسله - and His Messengers,| وإن - and if| تؤمنوا - you believe| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah)| فلكم - then for you| أجر - (is a) reward| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 5 [3:186] | Latublawunna fee amwalikumwaanfusikum walatasmaAAunna mina allatheena ootoo alkitabamin qablikum wamina allatheena ashrakoo athankatheeran wa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo fa-inna thalikamin AAazmi al-omoori | لتبلون في أموالكم وأنفسكم ولتسمعن من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم ومن الذين أشركوا أذى كثيرا وإن تصبروا وتتقوا فإن ذلك من عزم الأمور لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ أَذًى كَثِيرًا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ | |||||
| Words | |لتبلون - You will certainly be tested| في - in| أموالكم - your wealth| وأنفسكم - and yourselves.| ولتسمعن - And you will certainly hear| من - from| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| من - from| قبلكم - before you| ومن - and from| الذين - those who| أشركوا - associate partners with Allah -| أذى - hurtful things| كثيرا - many,| وإن - and if| تصبروا - you are patient| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah)| فإن - then indeed,| ذلك - that| من - (is) of| عزم - the matters| الأمور - (of) determination.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:128] | Wa-ini imraatun khafat min baAAlihanushoozan aw iAAradan fala junaha AAalayhimaan yusliha baynahuma sulhan waalssulhukhayrun waohdirati al-anfusu alshshuhhawa-in tuhsinoo watattaqoo fa-inna Allaha kanabima taAAmaloona khabeeran | وإن امرأة خافت من بعلها نشوزا أو إعراضا فلا جناح عليهما أن يصلحا بينهما صلحا والصلح خير وأحضرت الأنفس الشح وإن تحسنوا وتتقوا فإن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا وَإِنِ امْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِن بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلاَ جُنَاْحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ وَأُحْضِرَتِ الْأَنفُسُ الشُّحَّ وَإِن تُحْسِنُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| امرأة - a woman| خافت - fears| من - from| بعلها - her husband| نشوزا - ill-conduct| أو - or| إعراضا - desertion| فلا - then (there is) no| جناح - sin| عليهما - on both of them| أن - that| يصلحا - they make terms of peace| بينهما - between themselves -| صلحا - a reconciliation| والصلح - and [the] reconciliation| خير - (is) best.| وأحضرت - And are swayed| الأنفس - the souls| الشح - (by) greed.| وإن - But if| تحسنوا - you do good| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah),| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبيرا - All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 7 [4:129] | Walan tastateeAAoo an taAAdiloobayna alnnisa-i walaw harastum falatameeloo kulla almayli fatatharooha kaalmuAAallaqatiwa-in tuslihoo watattaqoo fa-inna Allaha kanaghafooran raheeman | ولن تستطيعوا أن تعدلوا بين النساء ولو حرصتم فلا تميلوا كل الميل فتذروها كالمعلقة وإن تصلحوا وتتقوا فإن الله كان غفورا رحيما وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُواْ أَن تَعْدِلُواْ بَيْنَ النِّسَاءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ فَلاَ تَمِيلُواْ كُلَّ الْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَالْمُعَلَّقَةِ وَإِن تُصْلِحُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ولن - And never| تستطيعوا - will you be able| أن - to| تعدلوا - deal justly| بين - between| النساء - [the] women| ولو - even if| حرصتم - you desired,| فلا - but (do) not| تميلوا - incline| كل - (with) all| الميل - the inclination| فتذروها - and leave her (the other)| كالمعلقة - like the suspended one.| وإن - And if| تصلحوا - you reconcile| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah)| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 8 [47:36] | Innama alhayatu alddunyalaAAibun walahwun wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoo yu/tikum ojoorakumwala yas-alkum amwalakum | إنما الحياة الدنيا لعب ولهو وإن تؤمنوا وتتقوا يؤتكم أجوركم ولا يسألكم أموالكم إِنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْأَلْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| لعب - (is) play| ولهو - and amusement.| وإن - And if| تؤمنوا - you believe| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah)| يؤتكم - He will give you| أجوركم - your rewards| ولا - and not| يسألكم - will ask you| أموالكم - (for) your wealth.| | ||||||
