| 1 [2:63] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqakumwarafaAAna fawqakumu alttoora khuthooma ataynakum biquwwatin waothkurooma feehi laAAallakum tattaqoona |  وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم ورفعنا فوقكم الطور خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واذكروا ما فيه لعلكم تتقونوَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاذْكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقكم - your covenant| ورفعنا - and We raised| فوقكم - over you| الطور - the mount,| خذوا - "Hold| ما - what| آتيناكم - We have given you| بقوة - with strength,| واذكروا - and remember| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it,| لعلكم - perhaps you| تتقون - (would become) righteous."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:203] | Waothkuroo Allaha feeayyamin maAAdoodatin faman taAAajjala fee yawmaynifala ithma AAalayhi waman taakhkhara fala ithmaAAalayhi limani ittaqa waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamooannakum ilayhi tuhsharoona | واذكروا الله في أيام معدودات فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه لمن اتقى واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم إليه تحشرون وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| الله - Allah| في - during| أيام - days| معدودات - numbered.| فمن - Then (he) who| تعجل - hurries| في - in| يومين - two days| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - upon him,| ومن - and whoever| تأخر - delays| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - upon him| لمن - for (the one) who| اتقى - fears.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أنكم - that you| إليه - unto Him| تحشرون - will be gathered.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:231] | Wa-itha tallaqtumu alnnisaafabalaghna ajalahunna faamsikoohunna bimaAAroofin aw sarrihoohunnabimaAAroofin wala tumsikoohunna diraranlitaAAtadoo waman yafAAal thalika faqad thalamanafsahu wala tattakhithoo ayati Allahihuzuwan waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykumwama anzala AAalaykum mina alkitabi waalhikmatiyaAAithukum bihi waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamooanna Allaha bikulli shay-in AAaleemun | وإذا طلقتم النساء فبلغن أجلهن فأمسكوهن بمعروف أو سرحوهن بمعروف ولا تمسكوهن ضرارا لتعتدوا ومن يفعل ذلك فقد ظلم نفسه ولا تتخذوا آيات الله هزوا واذكروا نعمت الله عليكم وما أنزل عليكم من الكتاب والحكمة يعظكم به واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله بكل شيء عليم وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَلاَ تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًا لَّتَعْتَدُواْ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ آيَاتِ اللّهِ هُزُوًا وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُم بِهِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - the women| فبلغن - and they reach| أجلهن - their (waiting) term,| فأمسكوهن - then retain them| بمعروف - in a fair manner| أو - or| سرحوهن - release them| بمعروف - in a fair manner.| ولا - And (do) not| تمسكوهن - retain them| ضرارا - (to) hurt| لتعتدوا - so that you transgress.| ومن - And whoever| يفعل - does| ذلك - that,| فقد - then indeed,| ظلم - he wronged| نفسه - himself.| ولا - And (do) not| تتخذوا - take| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| هزوا - (in) jest,| واذكروا - and remember| نعمت - (the) Favors| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you| وما - and what| أنزل - (is) revealed| عليكم - to you| من - of| الكتاب - the Book| والحكمة - and [the] wisdom;| يعظكم - He instructs you| به - with it.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah (is)| بكل - of every| شيء - thing| عليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:103] | WaiAAtasimoo bihabliAllahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkurooniAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaanfaallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihiikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratinmina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalikayubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakumtahtadoona | واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعا ولا تفرقوا واذكروا نعمت الله عليكم إذ كنتم أعداء فألف بين قلوبكم فأصبحتم بنعمته إخوانا وكنتم على شفا حفرة من النار فأنقذكم منها كذلك يبين الله لكم آياته لعلكم تهتدون وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واعتصموا - And hold firmly| بحبل - to (the) rope| الله - (of) Allah| جميعا - all together| ولا - and (do) not| تفرقوا - be divided.| واذكروا - And remember| نعمت - (the) Favor| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - on you| إذ - when| كنتم - you were| أعداء - enemies| فألف - then He made friendship| بين - between| قلوبكم - your hearts| فأصبحتم - then you became| بنعمته - by His Favor| إخوانا - brothers.| وكنتم - And you were| على - on| شفا - (the) brink| حفرة - (of) pit| من - of| النار - the Fire| فأنقذكم - then He saved you| منها - from it.| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| آياته - His Verses| لعلكم - so that you may| تهتدون - (be) guided.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:4] | Yas-aloonaka matha ohilla lahumqul ohilla lakumu alttayyibatu wamaAAallamtum mina aljawarihi mukallibeenatuAAallimoonahunna mimma AAallamakumu Allahufakuloo mimma amsakna AAalaykum waothkurooisma Allahi AAalayhi waittaqoo Allaha innaAllaha sareeAAu alhisabi | يسألونك ماذا أحل لهم قل أحل لكم الطيبات وما علمتم من الجوارح مكلبين تعلمونهن مما علمكم الله فكلوا مما أمسكن عليكم واذكروا اسم الله عليه واتقوا الله إن الله سريع الحساب يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُم مِّنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللّهُ فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| ماذا - what| أحل - (is) made lawful| لهم - for them.| قل - Say,| أحل - "Are made lawful| لكم - for you| الطيبات - the good things| وما - and what| علمتم - you have taught| من - of| الجوارح - (your) hunting animals,| مكلبين - ones who train animals to hunt,| تعلمونهن - you teach them| مما - of what| علمكم - has taught you| الله - Allah.| فكلوا - So eat| مما - of what| أمسكن - they catch| عليكم - for you,| واذكروا - but mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on it,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| سريع - is swift| الحساب - (in taking) account.| | ||||||
| 6 [5:7] | Waothkuroo niAAmata AllahiAAalaykum wameethaqahu allathee wathaqakumbihi ith qultum samiAAna waataAAna waittaqooAllaha inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori | واذكروا نعمة الله عليكم وميثاقه الذي واثقكم به إذ قلتم سمعنا وأطعنا واتقوا الله إن الله عليم بذات الصدور وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَاقَهُ الَّذِي وَاثَقَكُم بِهِ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| نعمة - (the) Favor| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you| وميثاقه - and His covenant| الذي - which| واثقكم - He bound you| به - with [it]| إذ - when| قلتم - you said,| سمعنا - "We heard| وأطعنا - and we obeyed;"| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بذات - of what| الصدور - (is in) the breasts.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:69] | Awa AAajibtum an jaakum thikrunmin rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakum waothkurooith jaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi qawmi noohinwazadakum fee alkhalqi bastatan faothkurooalaa Allahi laAAallakum tuflihoona | أوعجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد قوم نوح وزادكم في الخلق بسطة فاذكروا آلاء الله لعلكم تفلحون أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَاذكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَزَادَكُمْ فِي الْخَلْقِ بَسْطَةً فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أوعجبتم - Do you wonder| أن - that| جاءكم - has come to you| ذكر - a reminder| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| على - on| رجل - a man| منكم - among you| لينذركم - that he may warn you?| واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| جعلكم - He made you| خلفاء - successors| من - from| بعد - after| قوم - (the) people| نوح - (of) Nuh,| وزادكم - and increased you| في - in| الخلق - the stature| بسطة - extensively.| فاذكروا - So remember| آلاء - (the) Bounties| الله - (of) Allah| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - succeed."| | ||||||
| 8 [7:74] | Waothkuroo ithjaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi AAadin wabawwaakumfee al-ardi tattakhithoona min suhooliha qusooranwatanhitoona aljibala buyootan faothkurooalaa Allahi wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideena | واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد عاد وبوأكم في الأرض تتخذون من سهولها قصورا وتنحتون الجبال بيوتا فاذكروا آلاء الله ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدين وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ عَادٍ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًا وَتَنْحِتُونَ الْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًا فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| جعلكم - He made you| خلفاء - successors| من - from| بعد - after| عاد - Aad,| وبوأكم - and settled you| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| تتخذون - You take| من - from| سهولها - its plains| قصورا - palaces| وتنحتون - and you carve out| الجبال - the mountains| بيوتا - (as) homes.| فاذكروا - So remember| آلاء - (the) Bounties| الله - (of) Allah| ولا - and (do) not| تعثوا - act wickedly| في - in| الأرض - (the) earth| مفسدين - spreading corruption.| | ||||||
| 9 [7:86] | Wala taqAAudoo bikulli siratintooAAidoona watasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi man amanabihi watabghoonaha AAiwajan waothkuroo ithkuntum qaleelan fakaththarakum waonthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideena | ولا تقعدوا بكل صراط توعدون وتصدون عن سبيل الله من آمن به وتبغونها عوجا واذكروا إذ كنتم قليلا فكثركم وانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين وَلاَ تَقْعُدُواْ بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلاً فَكَثَّرَكُمْ وَانظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقعدوا - sit| بكل - on every| صراط - path| توعدون - threatening| وتصدون - and hindering| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| من - (those) who| آمن - believe| به - in Him,| وتبغونها - and seeking (to make) it| عوجا - crooked.| واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| كنتم - you were| قليلا - few| فكثركم - and He increased you.| وانظروا - And see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| المفسدين - (of) the corrupters.| | ||||||
| 10 [7:171] | Wa-ith nataqna aljabalafawqahum kaannahu thullatun wathannooannahu waqiAAun bihim khuthoo ma ataynakumbiquwwatin waothkuroo ma feehi laAAallakumtattaqoona | وإذ نتقنا الجبل فوقهم كأنه ظلة وظنوا أنه واقع بهم خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واذكروا ما فيه لعلكم تتقون وَإِذ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُ ظُلَّةٌ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| نتقنا - We raised| الجبل - the mountain| فوقهم - above them| كأنه - as if it was| ظلة - a canopy| وظنوا - and they thought| أنه - that it| واقع - (would) fall| بهم - upon them,| خذوا - (We said), "Take| ما - what| آتيناكم - We have given you| بقوة - with strength| واذكروا - and remember| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it| لعلكم - so that you may| تتقون - fear Allah."| | ||||||
| 11 [8:26] | Waothkuroo ith antumqaleelun mustadAAafoona fee al-ardi takhafoonaan yatakhattafakumu alnnasu faawakumwaayyadakum binasrihi warazaqakum mina alttayyibatilaAAallakum tashkuroona | واذكروا إذ أنتم قليل مستضعفون في الأرض تخافون أن يتخطفكم الناس فآواكم وأيدكم بنصره ورزقكم من الطيبات لعلكم تشكرون وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ أَنتُمْ قَلِيلٌ مُّسْتَضْعَفُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ النَّاسُ فَآوَاكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصْرِهِ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| أنتم - you| قليل - (were) few| مستضعفون - (and) deemed weak| في - in| الأرض - the earth| تخافون - fearing| أن - that| يتخطفكم - might do away with you| الناس - the men,| فآواكم - then He sheltered you,| وأيدكم - and strengthened you| بنصره - with His help,| ورزقكم - and provided you| من - of| الطيبات - the good things| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) thankful.| | ||||||
| 12 [8:45] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha laqeetum fi-atan faothbutoo waothkurooAllaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا لقيتم فئة فاثبتوا واذكروا الله كثيرا لعلكم تفلحون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| إذا - When| لقيتم - you meet| فئة - a force,| فاثبتوا - then be firm| واذكروا - and remember| الله - Allah| كثيرا - much,| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - (be) successful.| | ||||||
| 13 [62:10] | Fa-itha qudiyati alssalatufaintashiroo fee al-ardi waibtaghoo min fadliAllahi waothkuroo Allaha katheeranlaAAallakum tuflihoona | فإذا قضيت الصلاة فانتشروا في الأرض وابتغوا من فضل الله واذكروا الله كثيرا لعلكم تفلحون فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - Then when| قضيت - is concluded| الصلاة - the prayer,| فانتشروا - then disperse| في - in| الأرض - the land| وابتغوا - and seek| من - from| فضل - (the) Bounty| الله - (of) Allah,| واذكروا - and remember| الله - Allah| كثيرا - much| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - succeed.| | ||||||
