| 1 [9:70] | Alam ya/tihim nabao allatheena minqablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmiibraheema waas-habi madyana waalmu/tafikatiatat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinati fama kanaAllahu liyathlimahum walakin kanooanfusahum yathlimoona |  ألم يأتهم نبأ الذين من قبلهم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود وقوم إبراهيم وأصحاب مدين والمؤتفكات أتتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كان الله ليظلمهم ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمونأَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانَ اللّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـكِن كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأتهم - come to them| نبأ - (the) news| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before them,| قبلهم - (were) before them,| قوم - (the) people| نوح - (of) Nuh,| وعاد - and Aad,| وثمود - and Thamud,| وقوم - and (the) people| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| وأصحاب - and (the) companions| مدين - (of) Madyan,| والمؤتفكات - and the towns overturned?| أتتهم - Came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs.| فما - And not| كان - was| الله - Allah| ليظلمهم - to wrong them| ولكن - but| كانوا - they were (to)| أنفسهم - themselves| يظلمون - doing wrong.| | ||||||
| 2 [22:44] | Waas-habu madyana wakuththibamoosa faamlaytu lilkafireena thumma akhathtuhumfakayfa kana nakeeri | وأصحاب مدين وكذب موسى فأمليت للكافرين ثم أخذتهم فكيف كان نكير وَأَصْحَابُ مَدْيَنَ وَكُذِّبَ مُوسَى فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |وأصحاب - And the inhabitants| مدين - (of) Madyan.| وكذب - And Musa was denied,| موسى - And Musa was denied,| فأمليت - so I granted respite| للكافرين - to the disbelievers,| ثم - then| أخذتهم - I seized them,| فكيف - and how| كان - was| نكير - My punishment.| | ||||||
| 3 [25:38] | WaAAadan wathamooda waas-habaalrrassi waquroonan bayna thalika katheeran | وعادا وثمود وأصحاب الرس وقرونا بين ذلك كثيرا وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ كَثِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وعادا - And Ad| وثمود - and Thamud| وأصحاب - and (the) dwellers| الرس - (of) Ar-rass| وقرونا - and generations| بين - between| ذلك - that| كثيرا - many.| | ||||||
| 4 [29:15] | Faanjaynahu waas-haba alssafeenatiwajaAAalnaha ayatan lilAAalameena | فأنجيناه وأصحاب السفينة وجعلناها آية للعالمين فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَصْحَابَ السَّفِينَةِ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا آيَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأنجيناه - But We saved him| وأصحاب - and (the) people| السفينة - (of) the ship,| وجعلناها - and We made it| آية - a Sign| للعالمين - for the worlds.| | ||||||
| 5 [38:13] | Wathamoodu waqawmu lootin waas-habual-aykati ola-ika al-ahzabu | وثمود وقوم لوط وأصحاب الأيكة أولئك الأحزاب وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ أُوْلَئِكَ الْأَحْزَابُ | |||||
