| 1 [6:44] | Falamma nasoo ma thukkiroobihi fatahna AAalayhim abwaba kulli shay-in hattaitha farihoo bima ootoo akhathnahumbaghtatan fa-itha hum mublisoona |  فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به فتحنا عليهم أبواب كل شيء حتى إذا فرحوا بما أوتوا أخذناهم بغتة فإذا هم مبلسونفَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَا أُوتُواْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| نسوا - they forgot| ما - what| ذكروا - they were reminded| به - of [it],| فتحنا - We opened| عليهم - on them| أبواب - gates| كل - (of) every| شيء - thing,| حتى - until| إذا - when| فرحوا - they rejoiced| بما - in what| أوتوا - they were given,| أخذناهم - We seized them| بغتة - suddenly| فإذا - and then| هم - they| مبلسون - (were) dumbfounded.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:51] | Allatheena ittakhathoodeenahum lahwan walaAAiban wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya faalyawma nansahum kamanasoo liqaa yawmihim hatha wama kanoobi-ayatina yajhadoona | الذين اتخذوا دينهم لهوا ولعبا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا فاليوم ننساهم كما نسوا لقاء يومهم هذا وما كانوا بآياتنا يجحدون الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ نَنسَاهُمْ كَمَا نَسُواْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَـذَا وَمَا كَانُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| اتخذوا - took| دينهم - their religion| لهوا - (as) an amusement| ولعبا - and play| وغرتهم - and deluded them| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world."| فاليوم - So today| ننساهم - We forget them| كما - as| نسوا - they forgot| لقاء - (the) meeting| يومهم - (of) their day,| هذا - this,| وما - and [what]| كانوا - (as) they used to| بآياتنا - with Our Verses| يجحدون - they reject.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:165] | Falamma nasoo ma thukkiroobihi anjayna allatheena yanhawna AAani alssoo-iwaakhathna allatheena thalamoobiAAathabin ba-eesin bima kanoo yafsuqoona | فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به أنجينا الذين ينهون عن السوء وأخذنا الذين ظلموا بعذاب بئيس بما كانوا يفسقون فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ أَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ السُّوءِ وَأَخَذْنَا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ بِعَذَابٍ بَئِيسٍ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| نسوا - they forgot| ما - what| ذكروا - they had been reminded| به - with [it],| أنجينا - We saved| الذين - those who| ينهون - forbade| عن - [from]| السوء - the evil,| وأخذنا - and We seized| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| بعذاب - with a punishment| بئيس - wretched,| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 4 [9:67] | Almunafiqoona waalmunafiqatubaAAduhum min baAAdin ya/muroona bialmunkariwayanhawna AAani almaAAroofi wayaqbidoona aydiyahum nasooAllaha fanasiyahum inna almunafiqeena humu alfasiqoona | المنافقون والمنافقات بعضهم من بعض يأمرون بالمنكر وينهون عن المعروف ويقبضون أيديهم نسوا الله فنسيهم إن المنافقين هم الفاسقون الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ بَعْضُهُم مِّن بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمُنكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَقْبِضُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ نَسُواْ اللّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |المنافقون - The hypocrite men| والمنافقات - and the hypocrite women,| بعضهم - some of them| من - (are) of| بعض - others.| يأمرون - They enjoin| بالمنكر - the wrong| وينهون - and forbid| عن - what| المعروف - (is) the right,| ويقبضون - and they close| أيديهم - their hands.| نسوا - They forget| الله - Allah,| فنسيهم - so He has forgotten them.| إن - Indeed,| المنافقين - the hypocrites,| هم - they (are)| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 5 [25:18] | Qaloo subhanaka ma kanayanbaghee lana an nattakhitha min doonika min awliyaawalakin mattaAAtahum waabaahum hattanasoo alththikra wakanoo qawman booran | قالوا سبحانك ما كان ينبغي لنا أن نتخذ من دونك من أولياء ولكن متعتهم وآباءهم حتى نسوا الذكر وكانوا قوما بورا قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنبَغِي لَنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّى نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| ما - Not| كان - it was proper| ينبغي - it was proper| لنا - for us| أن - that| نتخذ - we take| من - besides You| دونك - besides You| من - any| أولياء - protectors.| ولكن - But| متعتهم - You gave them comforts| وآباءهم - and their forefathers| حتى - until| نسوا - they forgot| الذكر - the Message| وكانوا - and became| قوما - a people| بورا - ruined."| | ||||||
| 6 [38:26] | Ya dawoodu inna jaAAalnakakhaleefatan fee al-ardi faohkum bayna alnnasibialhaqqi wala tattabiAAi alhawa fayudillakaAAan sabeeli Allahi inna allatheena yadilloonaAAan sabeeli Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun bimanasoo yawma alhisabi | يا داوود إنا جعلناك خليفة في الأرض فاحكم بين الناس بالحق ولا تتبع الهوى فيضلك عن سبيل الله إن الذين يضلون عن سبيل الله لهم عذاب شديد بما نسوا يوم الحساب يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| داوود - "O Dawood!| إنا - Indeed, We| جعلناك - [We] have made you| خليفة - a vicegerent| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| فاحكم - so judge| بين - between| الناس - [the] men| بالحق - in truth| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| الهوى - the desire,| فيضلك - for it will lead you astray| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يضلون - go astray| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| شديد - severe| بما - because| نسوا - they forgot| يوم - (the) Day| الحساب - (of) Account."| | ||||||
| 7 [59:19] | Wala takoonoo kaallatheenanasoo Allaha faansahum anfusahum ola-ikahumu alfasiqoona | ولا تكونوا كالذين نسوا الله فأنساهم أنفسهم أولئك هم الفاسقون وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنسَاهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| نسوا - forgot| الله - Allah,| فأنساهم - so He made them forget| أنفسهم - themselves.| أولئك - Those| هم - [they]| الفاسقون - (are) the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
