| 1 [8:65] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu harridialmu/mineena AAala alqitali in yakun minkumAAishroona sabiroona yaghliboo mi-atayni wa-in yakunminkum mi-atun yaghliboo alfan mina allatheena kafaroobi-annahum qawmun la yafqahoona |  يا أيها النبي حرض المؤمنين على القتال إن يكن منكم عشرون صابرون يغلبوا مائتين وإن يكن منكم مائة يغلبوا ألفا من الذين كفروا بأنهم قوم لا يفقهونيَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ إِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَابِرُونَ يَغْلِبُواْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّئَةٌ يَغْلِبُواْ أَلْفًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| النبي - Prophet!| حرض - Urge| المؤمنين - the believers| على - to| القتال - [the] fight.| إن - If| يكن - (there) are| منكم - among you| عشرون - twenty| صابرون - steadfast| يغلبوا - they will overcome| مائتين - two hundred.| وإن - And if| يكن - (there) are| منكم - among you| مائة - a hundred,| يغلبوا - they will overcome| ألفا - a thousand| من - of| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| بأنهم - because they| قوم - (are) a people| لا - (who do) not| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
| 2 [8:66] | Al-ana khaffafa Allahu AAankumwaAAalima anna feekum daAAfan fa-in yakun minkum mi-atun sabiratunyaghliboo mi-atayni wa-in yakun minkum alfun yaghliboo alfaynibi-ithni Allahi waAllahu maAAa alssabireena | الآن خفف الله عنكم وعلم أن فيكم ضعفا فإن يكن منكم مائة صابرة يغلبوا مائتين وإن يكن منكم ألف يغلبوا ألفين بإذن الله والله مع الصابرين الْآنَ خَفَّفَ اللّهُ عَنكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًا فَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُم مِّئَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُواْ مِئَتَيْنِ وَإِن يَكُن مِّنكُمْ أَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُواْ أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الآن - Now| خفف - has (been) lightened| الله - (by) Allah| عنكم - for you,| وعلم - and He knows| أن - that| فيكم - in you| ضعفا - (there) is weakness.| فإن - So if| يكن - (there) are| منكم - among you| مائة - a hundred| صابرة - steadfast,| يغلبوا - they will overcome| مائتين - two hundred.| وإن - And if| يكن - (there) are| منكم - among you| ألف - a thousand,| يغلبوا - they will overcome| ألفين - two thousand| بإذن - with (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| والله - And Allah| مع - (is) with| الصابرين - the steadfast.| | ||||||
