| 1 [2:91] | Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo bimaanzala Allahu qaloo nu/minu bima onzilaAAalayna wayakfuroona bima waraahu wahuwa alhaqqumusaddiqan lima maAAahum qul falima taqtuloonaanbiyaa Allahi min qablu in kuntum mu/mineena |  وإذا قيل لهم آمنوا بما أنزل الله قالوا نؤمن بما أنزل علينا ويكفرون بما وراءه وهو الحق مصدقا لما معهم قل فلم تقتلون أنبياء الله من قبل إن كنتم مؤمنينوَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُواْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ قَالُواْ نُؤْمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُوْنَ بِمَا وَرَاءَهُ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنْبِيَاءَ اللّهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| آمنوا - "Believe| بما - in what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,"| قالوا - they say,| نؤمن - "We believe| بما - in what| أنزل - was revealed| علينا - to us."| ويكفرون - And they disbelieve| بما - in what| وراءه - (is) besides it,| وهو - while it| الحق - (is) the truth| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| معهم - (is) with them.| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| تقتلون - (did) you kill| أنبياء - (the) Prophets| الله - (of) Allah| من - from| قبل - before,| إن - if| كنتم - you were| مؤمنين - believers?"| | ||||||
| 2 [2:93] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqakumwarafaAAna fawqakumu alttoora khuthooma ataynakum biquwwatin waismaAAoo qaloosamiAAna waAAasayna waoshriboo feequloobihimu alAAijla bikufrihim qul bi/sama ya/murukumbihi eemanukum in kuntum mu/mineena | وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم ورفعنا فوقكم الطور خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واسمعوا قالوا سمعنا وعصينا وأشربوا في قلوبهم العجل بكفرهم قل بئسما يأمركم به إيمانكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاسْمَعُواْ قَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَأُشْرِبُواْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِهِ إِيمَانُكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقكم - your covenant| ورفعنا - and We raised| فوقكم - over you| الطور - the mount,| خذوا - "Hold| ما - what| آتيناكم - We gave you,| بقوة - with firmness| واسمعوا - and listen."| قالوا - They said,| سمعنا - "We heard| وعصينا - and we disobeyed."| وأشربوا - And they were made to drink| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| العجل - (love of) the calf| بكفرهم - because of their disbelief.| قل - Say,| بئسما - "Evil (is) that| يأمركم - orders you (to do) it| به - with| إيمانكم - your faith,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:248] | Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna ayatamulkihi an ya/tiyakumu alttabootu feehi sakeenatunmin rabbikum wabaqiyyatun mimma taraka alu moosawaalu haroona tahmiluhu almala-ikatuinna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | وقال لهم نبيهم إن آية ملكه أن يأتيكم التابوت فيه سكينة من ربكم وبقية مما ترك آل موسى وآل هارون تحمله الملائكة إن في ذلك لآية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| لهم - to them| نبيهم - their Prophet,| إن - "Indeed,| آية - a sign| ملكه - (of) his kingship| أن - (is) that| يأتيكم - will come to you| التابوت - the ark,| فيه - in it| سكينة - (is) tranquility| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| وبقية - and a remnant| مما - of what| ترك - (was) left| آل - (by the) family| موسى - (of) Musa| وآل - and family| هارون - (of) Harun| تحمله - will carry it| الملائكة - the Angels.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a sign| لكم - for you| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 4 [2:278] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooittaqoo Allaha watharoo ma baqiya mina alrribain kuntum mu/mineena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وذروا ما بقي من الربا إن كنتم مؤمنين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَذَرُواْ مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| اتقوا - Fear| الله - Allah| وذروا - and give up| ما - what| بقي - remained| من - of| الربا - [the] usury,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 5 [3:49] | Warasoolan ila banee isra-eelaannee qad ji/tukum bi-ayatin min rabbikum annee akhluqulakum mina altteeni kahay-ati alttayrifaanfukhu feehi fayakoonu tayran bi-ithni Allahiwaobri-o al-akmaha waal-abrasa waohyeealmawta bi-ithni Allahi waonabbi-okum bimata/kuloona wama taddakhiroona fee buyootikum inna fee thalikalaayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | ورسولا إلى بني إسرائيل أني قد جئتكم بآية من ربكم أني أخلق لكم من الطين كهيئة الطير فأنفخ فيه فيكون طيرا بإذن الله وأبرئ الأكمه والأبرص وأحيي الموتى بإذن الله وأنبئكم بما تأكلون وما تدخرون في بيوتكم إن في ذلك لآية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَرَسُولاً إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَأُبْرِىءُ الْأَكْمَهَ والْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ورسولا - And (make him) a Messenger| إلى - to| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel,| أني - "Indeed, I| قد - [surely]| جئتكم - [I] (have) come (to) you| بآية - with a sign| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| أني - that I| أخلق - [I] design| لكم - for you| من - from| الطين - [the] clay| كهيئة - like the form| الطير - (of) the bird,| فأنفخ - then I breath| فيه - into it| فيكون - and it becomes| طيرا - a bird| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| وأبرئ - And I cure| الأكمه - the blind,| والأبرص - and the leper,| وأحيي - and I give life| الموتى - (to) the dead| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| وأنبئكم - And I inform you| بما - of what| تأكلون - you eat| وما - and what| تدخرون - you store| في - in| بيوتكم - your houses.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a sign| لكم - for you,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 6 [3:139] | Wala tahinoo wala tahzanoowaantumu al-aAAlawna in kuntum mu/mineena | ولا تهنوا ولا تحزنوا وأنتم الأعلون إن كنتم مؤمنين وَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تهنوا - weaken| ولا - and (do) not| تحزنوا - grieve| وأنتم - and you (will be)| الأعلون - [the] superior,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:175] | Innama thalikumu alshshaytanuyukhawwifu awliyaahu fala takhafoohum wakhafooniin kuntum mu/mineena | إنما ذلكم الشيطان يخوف أولياءه فلا تخافوهم وخافون إن كنتم مؤمنين إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلاَ تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - (It is) only| ذلكم - that| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| يخوف - frightens (you)| أولياءه - (of) his allies.| فلا - So (do) not| تخافوهم - fear them,| وخافون - but fear Me,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 8 [5:23] | Qala rajulani mina allatheenayakhafoona anAAama Allahu AAalayhimaodkhuloo AAalayhimu albaba fa-itha dakhaltumoohufa-innakum ghaliboona waAAala Allahifatawakkaloo in kuntum mu/mineena | قال رجلان من الذين يخافون أنعم الله عليهما ادخلوا عليهم الباب فإذا دخلتموه فإنكم غالبون وعلى الله فتوكلوا إن كنتم مؤمنين قَالَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُواْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُونَ وَعَلَى اللّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُواْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| رجلان - two men| من - from| الذين - those who| يخافون - feared (Allah),| أنعم - (had) favored| الله - Allah| عليهما - [on] both of them,| ادخلوا - "Enter| عليهم - upon them| الباب - (through) the gate| فإذا - then when| دخلتموه - you have entered it| فإنكم - then indeed, you (will be)| غالبون - victorious.| وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| فتوكلوا - then put your trust| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 9 [5:57] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattakhithoo allatheena ittakhathoodeenakum huzuwan walaAAiban mina allatheena ootoo alkitabamin qablikum waalkuffara awliyaa waittaqooAllaha in kuntum mu/mineena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تتخذوا الذين اتخذوا دينكم هزوا ولعبا من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم والكفار أولياء واتقوا الله إن كنتم مؤمنين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَتَّخِذُواْ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| 10 [5:112] | Ith qala alhawariyyoonaya AAeesa ibna maryama hal yastateeAAurabbuka an yunazzila AAalayna ma-idatan mina alssama-iqala ittaqoo Allaha in kuntum mu/mineena | إذ قال الحواريون يا عيسى ابن مريم هل يستطيع ربك أن ينزل علينا مائدة من السماء قال اتقوا الله إن كنتم مؤمنين إِذْ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَن يُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قال - said| الحواريون - the disciples,| يا - O| عيسى - "O Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam!| هل - Is| يستطيع - able| ربك - your Lord| أن - to| ينزل - send down| علينا - to us| مائدة - a table spread| من - from| السماء - the heaven?"| قال - He said,| اتقوا - "Fear| الله - Allah,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 11 [6:118] | Fakuloo mimma thukira ismuAllahi AAalayhi in kuntum bi-ayatihimu/mineena | فكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه إن كنتم بآياته مؤمنين فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ بِآيَاتِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| 12 [7:72] | Faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu birahmatin minna waqataAAna dabiraallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawama kanoo mu/mineena | فأنجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا بآياتنا وما كانوا مؤمنين فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأنجيناه - So We saved him| والذين - and those| معه - with him| برحمة - by Mercy| منا - from Us.| وقطعنا - And We cut off| دابر - the roots| الذين - (of) those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| وما - and not| كانوا - they were| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 13 [7:85] | Wa-ila madyana akhahumshuAAayban qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu qad jaatkum bayyinatunmin rabbikum faawfoo alkayla waalmeezana walatabkhasoo alnnasa ashyaahum walatufsidoo fee al-ardi baAAda islahiha thalikumkhayrun lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة من ربكم فأوفوا الكيل والميزان ولا تبخسوا الناس أشياءهم ولا تفسدوا في الأرض بعد إصلاحها ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَإِلَى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلاَ تَبْخَسُواْ النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلاَحِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| مدين - Madyan,| أخاهم - his brother| شعيبا - Shuaib.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| قد - Verily,| جاءتكم - has came to you| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربكم - your Lord.| فأوفوا - So give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| ولا - and (do) not| تبخسوا - deprive| الناس - [the] people| أشياءهم - in their things| ولا - and (do) not| تفسدوا - cause corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بعد - after| إصلاحها - its reformation.| ذلكم - That| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 14 [8:1] | Yas-aloonaka AAani al-anfali qulial-anfalu lillahi waalrrasooli faittaqooAllaha waaslihoo thata baynikum waateeAAooAllaha warasoolahu in kuntum mu/mineena | يسألونك عن الأنفال قل الأنفال لله والرسول فاتقوا الله وأصلحوا ذات بينكم وأطيعوا الله ورسوله إن كنتم مؤمنين يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَنفَالِ قُلِ الْأَنفَالُ لِلّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَأَصْلِحُواْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ وَأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| عن - about| الأنفال - the spoils of war.| قل - Say,| الأنفال - "The spoils of war| لله - (are) for Allah| والرسول - and the Messenger.| فاتقوا - So fear| الله - Allah| وأصلحوا - and set right| ذات - that| بينكم - (which is) between you| وأطيعوا - and obey| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 15 [9:13] | Ala tuqatiloona qawmannakathoo aymanahum wahammoo bi-ikhraji alrrasooliwahum badaookum awwala marratin atakhshawnahum faAllahuahaqqu an takhshawhu in kuntum mu/mineena | ألا تقاتلون قوما نكثوا أيمانهم وهموا بإخراج الرسول وهم بدءوكم أول مرة أتخشونهم فالله أحق أن تخشوه إن كنتم مؤمنين أَلاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ قَوْمًا نَّكَثُواْ أَيْمَانَهُمْ وَهَمُّواْ بِإِخْرَاجِ الرَّسُولِ وَهُم بَدَؤُوكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ فَاللّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَوْهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ألا - Will not| تقاتلون - you fight| قوما - a people| نكثوا - who broke| أيمانهم - their oaths| وهموا - and determined| بإخراج - to drive out| الرسول - the Messenger| وهم - and they| بدءوكم - began (to attack) you| أول - first| مرة - time?| أتخشونهم - Do you fear them?| فالله - But Allah| أحق - (has) more right| أن - that| تخشوه - you should fear Him,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 16 [9:14] | Qatiloohum yuAAaththibhumu Allahubi-aydeekum wayukhzihim wayansurkum AAalayhim wayashfi sudooraqawmin mu/mineena | قاتلوهم يعذبهم الله بأيديكم ويخزهم وينصركم عليهم ويشف صدور قوم مؤمنين قَاتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قاتلوهم - Fight them -| يعذبهم - Allah will punish them| الله - Allah will punish them| بأيديكم - by your hands| ويخزهم - and disgrace them| وينصركم - and give you victory| عليهم - over them,| ويشف - and will heal| صدور - (the) breasts| قوم - (of) a people| مؤمنين - (who are) believers.| | ||||||
| 17 [9:62] | Yahlifoona biAllahilakum liyurdookum waAllahu warasooluhu ahaqquan yurdoohu in kanoo mu/mineena | يحلفون بالله لكم ليرضوكم والله ورسوله أحق أن يرضوه إن كانوا مؤمنين يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَاللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| بالله - by Allah| لكم - to you| ليرضوكم - to please you.| والله - And Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| أحق - (have) more right| أن - that| يرضوه - they should please Him,| إن - if| كانوا - they are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 18 [10:99] | Walaw shaa rabbuka laamana manfee al-ardi kulluhum jameeAAan afaanta tukrihu alnnasahatta yakoonoo mu/mineena | ولو شاء ربك لآمن من في الأرض كلهم جميعا أفأنت تكره الناس حتى يكونوا مؤمنين وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَآمَنَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَكُونُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| 20 [18:80] | Waamma alghulamu fakanaabawahu mu/minayni fakhasheena an yurhiqahumatughyanan wakufran | وأما الغلام فكان أبواه مؤمنين فخشينا أن يرهقهما طغيانا وكفرا وَأَمَّا الْغُلاَمُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِينَا أَن يُرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا | |||||
| Words | |وأما - And as for| الغلام - the boy| فكان - his parents were| أبواه - his parents were| مؤمنين - believers,| فخشينا - and we feared| أن - that| يرهقهما - he would overburden them| طغيانا - (by) transgression| وكفرا - and disbelief.| | ||||||
