| 1 [2:152] | Faothkuroonee athkurkumwaoshkuroo lee wala takfurooni |  فاذكروني أذكركم واشكروا لي ولا تكفرونفَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُواْ لِي وَلاَ تَكْفُرُونِ | |||||
| Words | |فاذكروني - So remember Me,| أذكركم - I will remember you| واشكروا - and be grateful| لي - to Me| ولا - and (do) not| تكفرون - (be) ungrateful to Me.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:186] | Wa-itha saalaka AAibadeeAAannee fa-innee qareebun ojeebu daAAwata alddaAAiitha daAAani falyastajeeboo lee walyu/minoo beelaAAallahum yarshudoona | وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدون وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| سألك - ask you| عبادي - My servants| عني - about Me,| فإني - then indeed I am| قريب - near.| أجيب - I respond| دعوة - (to the) invocation| الداع - (of) the supplicant| إذا - when| دعان - he calls Me.| فليستجيبوا - So let them respond| لي - to Me| وليؤمنوا - and let them believe| بي - in Me,| لعلهم - so that they may| يرشدون - (be) led aright.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:38] | Hunalika daAAa zakariyyarabbahu qala rabbi hab lee min ladunka thurriyyatantayyibatan innaka sameeAAu aldduAAa/-i | هنالك دعا زكريا ربه قال رب هب لي من لدنك ذرية طيبة إنك سميع الدعاء هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ | |||||
| Words | |هنالك - There only,| دعا - invoked| زكريا - Zakariya| ربه - his Lord,| قال - he said,| رب - "My Lord| هب - grant| لي - [for] me| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| ذرية - offspring| طيبة - pure.| إنك - Indeed, You| سميع - (are) All-Hearer| الدعاء - (of) the prayer| | ||||||
| 4 [3:40] | Qala rabbi anna yakoonu leeghulamun waqad balaghaniya alkibaru waimraatee AAaqirunqala kathalika Allahu yafAAalu mayasha/o | قال رب أنى يكون لي غلام وقد بلغني الكبر وامرأتي عاقر قال كذلك الله يفعل ما يشاء قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلاَمٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكَ اللّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - can (there) be| لي - for me| غلام - a son,| وقد - and verily| بلغني - has reached me| الكبر - [the] old age| وامرأتي - and my wife| عاقر - (is) [a] barren?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus;| الله - Allah| يفعل - does| ما - what| يشاء - He wills."| | ||||||
| 5 [3:41] | Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qalaayatuka alla tukallima alnnasa thalathataayyamin illa ramzan waothkur rabbakakatheeran wasabbih bialAAashiyyi waal-ibkari | قال رب اجعل لي آية قال آيتك ألا تكلم الناس ثلاثة أيام إلا رمزا واذكر ربك كثيرا وسبح بالعشي والإبكار قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلاَّ تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلاَّ رَمْزًا وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "My Lord| اجعل - make| لي - for me| آية - a sign."| قال - He said,| آيتك - your sign| ألا - (is) that not| تكلم - you will speak| الناس - (to) the people| ثلاثة - (for) three| أيام - days| إلا - except| رمزا - (with) gestures.| واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| كثيرا - much,| وسبح - and glorify (Him)| بالعشي - in the evening| والإبكار - and (in) the morning."| | ||||||
| 6 [3:47] | Qalat rabbi anna yakoonu leewaladun walam yamsasnee basharun qala kathaliki Allahuyakhluqu ma yashao itha qada amranfa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu | قالت رب أنى يكون لي ولد ولم يمسسني بشر قال كذلك الله يخلق ما يشاء إذا قضى أمرا فإنما يقول له كن فيكون قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord| أنى - how| يكون - is [it]| لي - for me| ولد - a boy,| ولم - and (has) not| يمسسني - touch(ed) me| بشر - any man?"| قال - He said,| كذلك - "Thus| الله - Allah| يخلق - creates| ما - what| يشاء - He wills.| إذا - When| قضى - He decrees| أمرا - a matter| فإنما - then only| يقول - He says| له - to it,| كن - "Be,"| فيكون - and it becomes.| | ||||||
| 7 [3:79] | Ma kana libasharin anyu/tiyahu Allahu alkitaba waalhukmawaalnnubuwwata thumma yaqoola lilnnasikoonoo AAibadan lee min dooni Allahi walakinkoonoo rabbaniyyeena bima kuntum tuAAallimoonaalkitaba wabima kuntum tadrusoona | ما كان لبشر أن يؤتيه الله الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ثم يقول للناس كونوا عبادا لي من دون الله ولكن كونوا ربانيين بما كنتم تعلمون الكتاب وبما كنتم تدرسون مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤْتِيَهُ اللّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُواْ عِبَادًا لِّي مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِن كُونُواْ رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ | |||||

| 8 [5:116] | Wa-ith qala Allahu yaAAeesa ibna maryama aanta qulta lilnnasiittakhithoonee waommiya ilahayni min dooni Allahiqala subhanaka ma yakoonu lee an aqoola malaysa lee bihaqqin in kuntu qultuhu faqad AAalimtahutaAAlamu ma fee nafsee wala aAAlamu ma feenafsika innaka anta AAallamu alghuyoobi | وإذ قال الله يا عيسى ابن مريم أأنت قلت للناس اتخذوني وأمي إلهين من دون الله قال سبحانك ما يكون لي أن أقول ما ليس لي بحق إن كنت قلته فقد علمته تعلم ما في نفسي ولا أعلم ما في نفسك إنك أنت علام الغيوب وَإِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنتَ قُلتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَـهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| الله - Allah,| يا - O| عيسى - "O Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam!| أأنت - Did you| قلت - say| للناس - to the people,| اتخذوني - "Take me| وأمي - and my mother| إلهين - (as) two gods| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah?"| قال - He said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| ما - Not| يكون - was| لي - for me| أن - that| أقول - I say| ما - what| ليس - not| لي - I| بحق - (had) right.| إن - If| كنت - I had| قلته - said it,| فقد - then surely| علمته - You would have known it.| تعلم - You know| ما - what| في - (is) in| نفسي - myself,| ولا - and not| أعلم - I know| ما - what| في - (is) in| نفسك - Yourself.| إنك - Indeed, You,| أنت - You| علام - (are) All-Knower| الغيوب - (of) the unseen.| | ||||||
| 9 [7:151] | Qala rabbi ighfir lee wali-akheewaadkhilna fee rahmatika waanta arhamu alrrahimeena | قال رب اغفر لي ولأخي وأدخلنا في رحمتك وأنت أرحم الراحمين قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| اغفر - Forgive| لي - me| ولأخي - and my brother| وأدخلنا - and admit us| في - into| رحمتك - Your Mercy,| وأنت - for You| أرحم - (are) the Most Merciful| الراحمين - (of) the merciful."| | ||||||
| 10 [9:49] | Waminhum man yaqoolu i/than lee walataftinnee ala fee alfitnati saqatoo wa-innajahannama lamuheetatun bialkafireena | ومنهم من يقول ائذن لي ولا تفتني ألا في الفتنة سقطوا وإن جهنم لمحيطة بالكافرين وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ائْذَن لِّي وَلاَ تَفْتِنِّي أَلاَ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُواْ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (is he) who| يقول - says,| ائذن - "Grant me leave| لي - "Grant me leave| ولا - and (do) not| تفتني - put me to trial."| ألا - Surely,| في - in| الفتنة - the trial| سقطوا - they have fallen.| وإن - And indeed,| جهنم - Hell| لمحيطة - (will) surely surround| بالكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 11 [10:15] | Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qala allatheena layarjoona liqaana i/ti biqur-anin ghayri hathaaw baddilhu qul ma yakoonu lee an obaddilahu min tilqa-inafsee in attabiAAu illa ma yooha ilayyainnee akhafu in AAasaytu rabbee AAathabayawmin AAatheemin | وإذا تتلى عليهم آياتنا بينات قال الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ائت بقرآن غير هذا أو بدله قل ما يكون لي أن أبدله من تلقاء نفسي إن أتبع إلا ما يوحى إلي إني أخاف إن عصيت ربي عذاب يوم عظيم وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَـذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| تتلى - are recited| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses| بينات - (as) clear proofs| قال - said| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يرجون - hope| لقاءنا - (for the) meeting (with) Us,| ائت - "Bring us| بقرآن - a Quran| غير - other (than)| هذا - this| أو - or| بدله - change it."| قل - Say,| ما - "Not| يكون - (it) is| لي - for me| أن - that| أبدله - I change it| من - of| تلقاء - my own accord.| نفسي - my own accord.| إن - Not| أتبع - I follow| إلا - except| ما - what| يوحى - is revealed| إلي - to me.| إني - Indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| إن - if| عصيت - I were to disobey| ربي - my Lord,| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Day,| عظيم - Great."| | ||||||
| 12 [10:41] | Wa-in kaththabooka faqul lee AAamaleewalakum AAamalukum antum baree-oona mimma aAAmalu waanabaree-on mimma taAAmaloona | وإن كذبوك فقل لي عملي ولكم عملكم أنتم بريئون مما أعمل وأنا بريء مما تعملون وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ أَنتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَاْ بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كذبوك - they deny you| فقل - then say,| لي - "For me| عملي - (are) my deeds,| ولكم - and for you| عملكم - (are) your deeds.| أنتم - You| بريئون - (are) disassociated| مما - from what| أعمل - I do,| وأنا - and I am| بريء - disassociated| مما - from what| تعملون - you do."| | ||||||
| 13 [11:47] | Qala rabbi innee aAAoothu bikaan as-alaka ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun wa-illataghfir lee watarhamnee akun mina alkhasireena | قال رب إني أعوذ بك أن أسألك ما ليس لي به علم وإلا تغفر لي وترحمني أكن من الخاسرين قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَإِلاَّ تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| أعوذ - seek refuge| بك - in You,| أن - that| أسألك - I (should) ask You| ما - what| ليس - not| لي - I have| به - of it| علم - knowledge.| وإلا - And unless| تغفر - You forgive| لي - me| وترحمني - and You have mercy on me,| أكن - I will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 14 [11:80] | Qala law anna lee bikum quwwatan aw aweeila ruknin shadeedin | قال لو أن لي بكم قوة أو آوي إلى ركن شديد قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ آوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| لو - "If| أن - that| لي - I had| بكم - over you| قوة - power| أو - or| آوي - I could take refuge| إلى - in| ركن - a support| شديد - strong."| | ||||||
| 15 [12:4] | Ith qala yoosufu li-abeehi yaabati innee raaytu ahada AAashara kawkaban waalshshamsawaalqamara raaytuhum lee sajideena | إذ قال يوسف لأبيه يا أبت إني رأيت أحد عشر كوكبا والشمس والقمر رأيتهم لي ساجدين إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ رَأَيْتُهُمْ لِي سَاجِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| قال - said| يوسف - Yusuf| لأبيه - to his father,| يا - O| أبت - "O my father!| إني - Indeed, I| رأيت - I saw| أحد - eleven| عشر - eleven| كوكبا - stars| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon;| رأيتهم - I saw them| لي - to me| ساجدين - prostrating."| | ||||||
| 16 [12:80] | Falamma istay-asoo minhu khalasoonajiyyan qala kabeeruhum alam taAAlamoo anna abakumqad akhatha AAalaykum mawthiqan mina Allahi waminqablu ma farrattum fee yoosufa falan abrahaal-arda hatta ya/thana lee abee aw yahkumaAllahu lee wahuwa khayru alhakimeena | فلما استيأسوا منه خلصوا نجيا قال كبيرهم ألم تعلموا أن أباكم قد أخذ عليكم موثقا من الله ومن قبل ما فرطتم في يوسف فلن أبرح الأرض حتى يأذن لي أبي أو يحكم الله لي وهو خير الحاكمين فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْأَسُواْ مِنْهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيًّا قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّىَ يَأْذَنَ لِي أَبِي أَوْ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ لِي وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| استيأسوا - they despaired| منه - of him,| خلصوا - they secluded themselves| نجيا - (in) private consultation.| قال - Said| كبيرهم - the eldest among them,| ألم - "Do not| تعلموا - you know| أن - that| أباكم - your father,| قد - has taken| أخذ - has taken| عليكم - upon you| موثقا - a promise| من - by| الله - Allah,| ومن - and before| قبل - and before| ما - that| فرطتم - you failed| في - concerning| يوسف - Yusuf?| فلن - So never| أبرح - will I leave| الأرض - the land| حتى - until| يأذن - permits| لي - me| أبي - my father| أو - or| يحكم - Allah decides| الله - Allah decides| لي - for me,| وهو - and He| خير - (is) the Best| الحاكمين - (of) the judges.| | ||||||
| 17 [14:22] | Waqala alshshaytanulamma qudiya al-amru inna Allaha waAAadakumwaAAda alhaqqi wawaAAadtukum faakhlaftukum wama kanaliya AAalaykum min sultanin illa an daAAawtukum faistajabtumlee fala taloomoonee waloomoo anfusakum ma anabimusrikhikum wama antum bimusrikhiyya inneekafartu bima ashraktumooni min qablu inna alththalimeenalahum AAathabun aleemun | وقال الشيطان لما قضي الأمر إن الله وعدكم وعد الحق ووعدتكم فأخلفتكم وما كان لي عليكم من سلطان إلا أن دعوتكم فاستجبتم لي فلا تلوموني ولوموا أنفسكم ما أنا بمصرخكم وما أنتم بمصرخي إني كفرت بما أشركتمون من قبل إن الظالمين لهم عذاب أليم وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلاَّ أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي فَلاَ تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُواْ أَنفُسَكُم مَّا أَنَاْ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَآ أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الشيطان - the Shaitaan,| لما - when| قضي - has been decided| الأمر - the matter,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| وعدكم - promised you| وعد - a promise| الحق - (of) truth.| ووعدتكم - And I promised you,| فأخلفتكم - but I betrayed you.| وما - But not| كان - I had| لي - I had| عليكم - over you| من - any| سلطان - authority| إلا - except| أن - that| دعوتكم - I invited you,| فاستجبتم - and you responded| لي - to me.| فلا - So (do) not| تلوموني - blame me,| ولوموا - but blame| أنفسكم - yourselves.| ما - Not| أنا - (can) I| بمصرخكم - (be) your helper| وما - and not| أنتم - you (can)| بمصرخي - (be) my helper.| إني - Indeed, I| كفرت - deny| بما - [of what]| أشركتمون - your association of me (with Allah)| من - before.| قبل - before.| إن - Indeed,| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful."| | ||||||
| 18 [14:39] | Alhamdu lillahi allatheewahaba lee AAala alkibari ismaAAeela wa-ishaqainna rabbee lasameeAAu aldduAAa/-i | الحمد لله الذي وهب لي على الكبر إسماعيل وإسحاق إن ربي لسميع الدعاء الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ | |||||

| 19 [14:41] | Rabbana ighfir lee waliwalidayyawalilmu/mineena yawma yaqoomu alhisabu | ربنا اغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين يوم يقوم الحساب رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ | |||||

| 20 [17:80] | Waqul rabbi adkhilnee mudkhala sidqinwaakhrijnee mukhraja sidqin waijAAal lee minladunka sultanan naseeran | وقل رب أدخلني مدخل صدق وأخرجني مخرج صدق واجعل لي من لدنك سلطانا نصيرا وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا | |||||
