| 1 [3:178] | Wala yahsabanna allatheenakafaroo annama numlee lahum khayrun li-anfusihim innamanumlee lahum liyazdadoo ithman walahum AAathabunmuheenun |  ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا أنما نملي لهم خير لأنفسهم إنما نملي لهم ليزدادوا إثما ولهم عذاب مهينوَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُواْ إِثْمًا وَلَهْمُ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (let) not| يحسبن - think| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| أنما - that| نملي - We give respite| لهم - to them| خير - (is) good| لأنفسهم - for themselves.| إنما - Only| نملي - We give respite| لهم - to them| ليزدادوا - so that they may increase| إثما - (in) sins,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 2 [48:4] | Huwa allathee anzala alssakeenatafee quloobi almu/mineena liyazdadoo eemanan maAAaeemanihim walillahi junoodu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wakana Allahu AAaleeman hakeeman | هو الذي أنزل السكينة في قلوب المؤمنين ليزدادوا إيمانا مع إيمانهم ولله جنود السماوات والأرض وكان الله عليما حكيما هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيْمَانًا مَّعَ إِيْمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنزل - sent down| السكينة - [the] tranquility| في - in(to)| قلوب - (the) hearts| المؤمنين - (of) the believers| ليزدادوا - that they may increase| إيمانا - (in) faith| مع - with| إيمانهم - their faith.| ولله - And for Allah| جنود - (are the) hosts| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وكان - and Allah| الله - and Allah| عليما - (is) All-Knower,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
