| 1 [2:70] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma hiya inna albaqara tashabahaAAalayna wa-inna in shaa Allahulamuhtadoona |  قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما هي إن البقر تشابه علينا وإنا إن شاء الله لمهتدونقَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ إِنَّ البَقَرَ تَشَابَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّآ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ادع - "Pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يبين - to make clear| لنا - to us| ما - what| هي - it (is).| إن - Indeed,| البقر - [the] cows| تشابه - look alike| علينا - to us.| وإنا - And indeed we,| إن - if| شاء - wills| الله - Allah,| لمهتدون - (will) surely be those who are guided."| | ||||||
| 2 [43:49] | Waqaloo ya ayyuha alsahiruodAAu lana rabbaka bima AAahida AAindaka innanalamuhtadoona | وقالوا يا أيه الساحر ادع لنا ربك بما عهد عندك إننا لمهتدون وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| يا - O| أيه - "O| الساحر - [the] magician!| ادع - Invoke| لنا - for us| ربك - your Lord| بما - by what| عهد - He has made covenant| عندك - with you.| إننا - Indeed, we| لمهتدون - (will) surely be guided."| | ||||||
