| 1 [3:96] | Inna awwala baytin wudiAAa lilnnasilallathee bibakkata mubarakan wahudan lilAAalameena |  إن أول بيت وضع للناس للذي ببكة مباركا وهدى للعالمينإِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| أول - (the) First| بيت - House| وضع - set up| للناس - for the mankind| للذي - (is) the one which| ببكة - (is) at Bakkah,| مباركا - blessed| وهدى - and a guidance| للعالمين - for the worlds.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:79] | Innee wajjahtu wajhiya lillathee fataraalssamawati waal-arda haneefanwama ana mina almushrikeena | إني وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السماوات والأرض حنيفا وما أنا من المشركين إِنِّي وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إني - Indeed, I| وجهت - [I] have turned| وجهي - my face| للذي - to the One Who| فطر - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| حنيفا - (as) a true monotheist,| وما - and not| أنا - I (am)| من - of| المشركين - the polytheists.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:42] | Waqala lillathee thannaannahu najin minhuma othkurnee AAindarabbika faansahu alshshaytanu thikrarabbihi falabitha fee alssijni bidAAa sineena | وقال للذي ظن أنه ناج منهما اذكرني عند ربك فأنساه الشيطان ذكر ربه فلبث في السجن بضع سنين وَقَالَ لِلَّذِي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ نَاجٍ مِّنْهُمَا اذْكُرْنِي عِندَ رَبِّكَ فَأَنسَاهُ الشَّيْطَانُ ذِكْرَ رَبِّهِ فَلَبِثَ فِي السِّجْنِ بِضْعَ سِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And he said| للذي - to the one whom| ظن - he thought| أنه - that he| ناج - (would be) saved| منهما - of both of them,| اذكرني - "Mention me| عند - to| ربك - your master."| فأنساه - But made him forget| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ذكر - (the) mention| ربه - (to) his master,| فلبث - so he remained| في - in| السجن - the prison| بضع - several| سنين - years.| | ||||||
| 4 [33:37] | Wa-ith taqoolu lillatheeanAAama Allahu AAalayhi waanAAamta AAalayhi amsik AAalaykazawjaka waittaqi Allaha watukhfee fee nafsika maAllahu mubdeehi watakhsha alnnasa waAllahuahaqqu an takhshahu falamma qadazaydun minha wataran zawwajnakahalikay la yakoona AAala almu/mineena harajunfee azwaji adAAiya-ihim itha qadawminhunna wataran wakana amru Allahi mafAAoolan | وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشاه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجناكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزواج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِي أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى النَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَاهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَاكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِي أَزْوَاجِ أَدْعِيَائِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| تقول - you said| للذي - to the one,| أنعم - Allah bestowed favor| الله - Allah bestowed favor| عليه - on him| وأنعمت - and you bestowed favor| عليه - on him,| أمسك - "Keep| عليك - to yourself| زوجك - your wife| واتق - and fear| الله - Allah."| وتخفي - But you concealed| في - within| نفسك - yourself| ما - what| الله - Allah| مبديه - (was to) disclose.| وتخشى - And you fear| الناس - the people,| والله - while Allah| أحق - has more right| أن - that| تخشاه - you (should) fear Him.| فلما - So when| قضى - ended| زيد - Zaid| منها - from her| وطرا - necessary (formalities),| زوجناكها - We married her to you| لكي - so that| لا - not| يكون - there be| على - on| المؤمنين - the believers| حرج - any discomfort| في - concerning| أزواج - the wives| أدعيائهم - (of) their adopted sons| إذا - when| قضوا - they have ended| منهن - from them| وطرا - necessary (formalities).| وكان - And is| أمر - (the) Command| الله - (of) Allah| مفعولا - accomplished.| | ||||||
