| 1 [7:21] | Waqasamahuma innee lakumalamina alnnasiheena |  وقاسمهما إني لكما لمن الناصحينوَقَاسَمَهُمَا إِنِّي لَكُمَا لَمِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقاسمهما - And he swore (to) both of them,| إني - "Indeed, I am| لكما - to both of you| لمن - among| الناصحين - the sincere advisors."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:22] | Fadallahuma bighuroorin falammathaqa alshshajarata badat lahuma saw-atuhumawatafiqa yakhsifani AAalayhimamin waraqi aljannati wanadahuma rabbuhumaalam anhakuma AAan tilkuma alshshajaratiwaaqul lakuma inna alshshaytana lakumaAAaduwwun mubeenun | فدلاهما بغرور فلما ذاقا الشجرة بدت لهما سوآتهما وطفقا يخصفان عليهما من ورق الجنة وناداهما ربهما ألم أنهكما عن تلكما الشجرة وأقل لكما إن الشيطان لكما عدو مبين فَدَلاَّهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَاتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ وَنَادَاهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَن تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |فدلاهما - So he made both of them fall| بغرور - by deception.| فلما - Then when| ذاقا - they both tasted| الشجرة - the tree,| بدت - became apparent| لهما - to both of them| سوآتهما - their shame,| وطفقا - and they began| يخصفان - (to) fasten| عليهما - over themselves| من - from| ورق - (the) leaves| الجنة - (of) the Garden.| وناداهما - And called them both| ربهما - their Lord,| ألم - "Did not| أنهكما - I forbid you both| عن - from| تلكما - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| وأقل - and [I] say| لكما - to both of you,| إن - that| الشيطان - [the] Shaitaan| لكما - to both of you| عدو - (is) an enemy,| مبين - open?"| | ||||||
| 3 [10:78] | Qaloo aji/tana litalfitanaAAamma wajadna AAalayhi abaanawatakoona lakuma alkibriyao fee al-ardi wamanahnu lakuma bimu/mineena | قالوا أجئتنا لتلفتنا عما وجدنا عليه آباءنا وتكون لكما الكبرياء في الأرض وما نحن لكما بمؤمنين قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| أجئتنا - "Have you come to us| لتلفتنا - to turn us away| عما - from that| وجدنا - we found| عليه - on it| آباءنا - our forefathers,| وتكون - and you two (may) have| لكما - and you two (may) have| الكبرياء - the greatness| في - in| الأرض - the land?| وما - And we (are) not| نحن - And we (are) not| لكما - (in) you two| بمؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 4 [28:35] | Qala sanashuddu AAadudakabi-akheeka wanajAAalu lakuma sultanan falayasiloona ilaykuma bi-ayatinaantuma wamani ittabaAAakuma alghaliboona | قال سنشد عضدك بأخيك ونجعل لكما سلطانا فلا يصلون إليكما بآياتنا أنتما ومن اتبعكما الغالبون قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَانًا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا بِآيَاتِنَا أَنتُمَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكُمَا الْغَالِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| سنشد - "We will strengthen| عضدك - your arm| بأخيك - through your brother| ونجعل - and We will make| لكما - for both of you| سلطانا - an authority,| فلا - so not| يصلون - they will reach| إليكما - to both of you.| بآياتنا - Through Our Signs| أنتما - you two| ومن - and (those) who| اتبعكما - follow you,| الغالبون - (will) be the dominant."| | ||||||
| 5 [46:17] | Waallathee qala liwalidayhioffin lakuma ataAAidaninee an okhraja waqad khalatialquroonu min qablee wahuma yastagheethani Allahawaylaka amin inna waAAda Allahi haqqunfayaqoolu ma hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena | والذي قال لوالديه أف لكما أتعدانني أن أخرج وقد خلت القرون من قبلي وهما يستغيثان الله ويلك آمن إن وعد الله حق فيقول ما هذا إلا أساطير الأولين وَالَّذِي قَالَ لِوَالِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَا أَتَعِدَانِنِي أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ الْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِي وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ اللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ آمِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذي - But the one who| قال - says| لوالديه - to his parents,| أف - "Uff| لكما - to both of you!| أتعدانني - Do you promise me| أن - that| أخرج - I will be brought forth,| وقد - and have already passed away| خلت - and have already passed away| القرون - the generations| من - before me?"| قبلي - before me?"| وهما - And they both| يستغيثان - seek help| الله - (of) Allah.| ويلك - "Woe to you!| آمن - Believe!| إن - Indeed,| وعد - (the) Promise| الله - (of) Allah| حق - (is) true."| فيقول - But he says,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| أساطير - (the) stories| الأولين - (of) the former (people)."| | ||||||
