| 1 [6:32] | Wama alhayatu alddunyailla laAAibun walahwun walalddaru al-akhiratikhayrun lillatheena yattaqoona afala taAAqiloona |  وما الحياة الدنيا إلا لعب ولهو وللدار الآخرة خير للذين يتقون أفلا تعقلونوَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَلَلدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| الحياة - (is) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| إلا - except| لعب - a play| ولهو - and amusement;| وللدار - but the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| خير - (is) best| للذين - for those who| يتقون - (are) God conscious.| أفلا - Then not| تعقلون - (will) you reason?| | ||||||
| 2 [47:36] | Innama alhayatu alddunyalaAAibun walahwun wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoo yu/tikum ojoorakumwala yas-alkum amwalakum | إنما الحياة الدنيا لعب ولهو وإن تؤمنوا وتتقوا يؤتكم أجوركم ولا يسألكم أموالكم إِنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْأَلْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| لعب - (is) play| ولهو - and amusement.| وإن - And if| تؤمنوا - you believe| وتتقوا - and fear (Allah)| يؤتكم - He will give you| أجوركم - your rewards| ولا - and not| يسألكم - will ask you| أموالكم - (for) your wealth.| | ||||||
| 3 [57:20] | IAAlamoo annama alhayatualddunya laAAibun walahwun wazeenatun watafakhurunbaynakum watakathurun fee al-amwali waal-awladikamathali ghaythin aAAjaba alkuffara nabatuhuthumma yaheeju fatarahu musfarran thumma yakoonu hutamanwafee al-akhirati AAathabun shadeedun wamaghfiratunmina Allahi waridwanun wama alhayatualddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori | اعلموا أنما الحياة الدنيا لعب ولهو وزينة وتفاخر بينكم وتكاثر في الأموال والأولاد كمثل غيث أعجب الكفار نباته ثم يهيج فتراه مصفرا ثم يكون حطاما وفي الآخرة عذاب شديد ومغفرة من الله ورضوان وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَزِينَةٌ وَتَفَاخُرٌ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌ فِي الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَوْلَادِ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ الْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَامًا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانٌ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ | |||||
| Words | |اعلموا - Know| أنما - that| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| لعب - (is) play| ولهو - and amusement| وزينة - and adornment| وتفاخر - and boasting| بينكم - among you| وتكاثر - and competition in increase| في - of| الأموال - the wealth| والأولاد - and the children,| كمثل - like (the) example| غيث - (of) a rain,| أعجب - pleases| الكفار - the tillers| نباته - its growth;| ثم - then| يهيج - it dries| فتراه - and you see it| مصفرا - turning yellow;| ثم - then| يكون - becomes| حطاما - debris.| وفي - And in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| شديد - severe| ومغفرة - and forgiveness| من - from| الله - Allah| ورضوان - and Pleasure.| وما - But not| الحياة - (is) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| إلا - except| متاع - (the) enjoyment| الغرور - (of) delusion.| | ||||||
