| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[29:53] | WayastaAAjiloonaka bialAAathabiwalawla ajalun musamman lajaahumu alAAathabuwalaya/tiyannahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona
|  ويستعجلونك بالعذاب ولولا أجل مسمى لجاءهم العذاب وليأتينهم بغتة وهم لا يشعرون
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَا أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَاءَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ |
| Words | |ويستعجلونك - And they ask you to hasten| بالعذاب - [with] the punishment.| ولولا - And if not| أجل - (for) a term| مسمى - appointed,| لجاءهم - surely (would) have come to them| العذاب - the punishment.| وليأتينهم - But it will surely come to them| بغتة - suddenly| وهم - while they| لا - (do) not| يشعرون - perceive.| |
