| 1 [2:23] | Wa-in kuntum fee raybin mimma nazzalnaAAala AAabdina fa/too bisooratin min mithlihi waodAAooshuhadaakum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena |  وإن كنتم في ريب مما نزلنا على عبدنا فأتوا بسورة من مثله وادعوا شهداءكم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقينوَإِنْ كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ شُهَدَاءَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كنتم - you are| في - in| ريب - doubt| مما - about what| نزلنا - We have revealed| على - to| عبدنا - Our slave,| فأتوا - then produce| بسورة - a chapter| من - [of]| مثله - like it| وادعوا - and call| شهداءكم - your witnesses| من - from| دون - other than| الله - Allah| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:31] | WaAAallama adama al-asmaakullaha thumma AAaradahum AAala almala-ikatifaqala anbi-oonee bi-asma-i haola-iin kuntum sadiqeena | وعلم آدم الأسماء كلها ثم عرضهم على الملائكة فقال أنبئوني بأسماء هؤلاء إن كنتم صادقين وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلاَئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنْبِئُونِي بِأَسْمَاءِ هَـؤُلَاءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلم - And He taught| آدم - Adam| الأسماء - the names -| كلها - all of them.| ثم - Then| عرضهم - He displayed them| على - to| الملائكة - the angels,| فقال - then He said,| أنبئوني - "Inform Me| بأسماء - of (the) names| هؤلاء - (of) these,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:33] | Qala ya adamu anbi/humbi-asma-ihim falamma anbaahum bi-asma-ihim qalaalam aqul lakum innee aAAlamu ghayba alssamawatiwaal-ardi waaAAlamu ma tubdoona wamakuntum taktumoona | قال يا آدم أنبئهم بأسمائهم فلما أنبأهم بأسمائهم قال ألم أقل لكم إني أعلم غيب السماوات والأرض وأعلم ما تبدون وما كنتم تكتمون قَالَ يَا آدَمُ أَنْبِئْهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ فَلَمَّا أَنبَأَهُمْ بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| أنبئهم - Inform them| بأسمائهم - of their names."| فلما - And when| أنبأهم - he had informed them| بأسمائهم - of their names,| قال - He said,| ألم - "Did not| أقل - I say| لكم - to you,| إني - Indeed, I| أعلم - [I] know| غيب - (the) unseen| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وأعلم - and I know| ما - what| تبدون - you reveal| وما - and what| كنتم - you [were]| تكتمون - conceal."| | ||||||
| 4 [2:72] | Wa-ith qataltum nafsan faiddara/tumfeeha waAllahu mukhrijun ma kuntumtaktumoona | وإذ قتلتم نفسا فادارأتم فيها والله مخرج ما كنتم تكتمون وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْساً فَادَّارَأْتُمْ فِيهَا وَاللّهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنْـتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قتلتم - you killed| نفسا - a man,| فادارأتم - then you disputed| فيها - concerning it,| والله - but Allah| مخرج - (is) the One Who brought forth| ما - what| كنتم - you were| تكتمون - concealing.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:91] | Wa-itha qeela lahum aminoo bimaanzala Allahu qaloo nu/minu bima onzilaAAalayna wayakfuroona bima waraahu wahuwa alhaqqumusaddiqan lima maAAahum qul falima taqtuloonaanbiyaa Allahi min qablu in kuntum mu/mineena | وإذا قيل لهم آمنوا بما أنزل الله قالوا نؤمن بما أنزل علينا ويكفرون بما وراءه وهو الحق مصدقا لما معهم قل فلم تقتلون أنبياء الله من قبل إن كنتم مؤمنين وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُواْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ قَالُواْ نُؤْمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُوْنَ بِمَا وَرَاءَهُ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنْبِيَاءَ اللّهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| آمنوا - "Believe| بما - in what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,"| قالوا - they say,| نؤمن - "We believe| بما - in what| أنزل - was revealed| علينا - to us."| ويكفرون - And they disbelieve| بما - in what| وراءه - (is) besides it,| وهو - while it| الحق - (is) the truth| مصدقا - confirming| لما - what| معهم - (is) with them.| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| تقتلون - (did) you kill| أنبياء - (the) Prophets| الله - (of) Allah| من - from| قبل - before,| إن - if| كنتم - you were| مؤمنين - believers?"| | ||||||
| 6 [2:93] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqakumwarafaAAna fawqakumu alttoora khuthooma ataynakum biquwwatin waismaAAoo qaloosamiAAna waAAasayna waoshriboo feequloobihimu alAAijla bikufrihim qul bi/sama ya/murukumbihi eemanukum in kuntum mu/mineena | وإذ أخذنا ميثاقكم ورفعنا فوقكم الطور خذوا ما آتيناكم بقوة واسمعوا قالوا سمعنا وعصينا وأشربوا في قلوبهم العجل بكفرهم قل بئسما يأمركم به إيمانكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاسْمَعُواْ قَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَأُشْرِبُواْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِهِ إِيمَانُكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاقكم - your covenant| ورفعنا - and We raised| فوقكم - over you| الطور - the mount,| خذوا - "Hold| ما - what| آتيناكم - We gave you,| بقوة - with firmness| واسمعوا - and listen."| قالوا - They said,| سمعنا - "We heard| وعصينا - and we disobeyed."| وأشربوا - And they were made to drink| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| العجل - (love of) the calf| بكفرهم - because of their disbelief.| قل - Say,| بئسما - "Evil (is) that| يأمركم - orders you (to do) it| به - with| إيمانكم - your faith,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 7 [2:94] | Qul in kanat lakumu alddarual-akhiratu AAinda Allahi khalisatanmin dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena | قل إن كانت لكم الدار الآخرة عند الله خالصة من دون الناس فتمنوا الموت إن كنتم صادقين قُلْ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ اللّهِ خَالِصَةً مِّنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُاْ الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إن - "If -| كانت - is| لكم - for you| الدار - the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| عند - with| الله - Allah| خالصة - exclusively,| من - from| دون - excluding| الناس - the mankind,| فتمنوا - then wish| الموت - (for) [the] death,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
| 8 [2:111] | Waqaloo lan yadkhula aljannata illaman kana hoodan aw nasara tilka amaniyyuhumqul hatoo burhanakum in kuntum sadiqeena | وقالوا لن يدخل الجنة إلا من كان هودا أو نصارى تلك أمانيهم قل هاتوا برهانكم إن كنتم صادقين وَقَالُواْ لَن يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ مَن كَانَ هُوداً أَوْ نَصَارَى تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ قُلْ هَاتُواْ بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لن - "Never| يدخل - will enter| الجنة - the Paradise| إلا - except| من - who| كان - is| هودا - (a) Jew[s]| أو - or| نصارى - (a) Christian[s]."| تلك - That| أمانيهم - (is) their wishful thinking.| قل - Say,| هاتوا - "Bring| برهانكم - your proof| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - [those who are] truthful."| | ||||||
| 9 [2:133] | Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadarayaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi mataAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahakawa-ilaha aba-ika ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahumuslimoona | أم كنتم شهداء إذ حضر يعقوب الموت إذ قال لبنيه ما تعبدون من بعدي قالوا نعبد إلهك وإله آبائك إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق إلها واحدا ونحن له مسلمون أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُواْ نَعْبُدُ إِلَـهَكَ وَإِلَـهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِلَـهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| كنتم - were you| شهداء - witnesses| إذ - when| حضر - came to| يعقوب - Yaqub| الموت - [the] death,| إذ - when| قال - he said| لبنيه - to his sons,| ما - "What| تعبدون - will you worship| من - from| بعدي - after me?"| قالوا - They said,| نعبد - "We will worship| إلهك - your God| وإله - and (the) God| آبائك - (of) your forefathers,| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| وإسحاق - and Isaac -| إلها - God| واحدا - One.| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| | ||||||
| 10 [2:144] | Qad nara taqalluba wajhika fee alssama-ifalanuwalliyannaka qiblatan tardaha fawalli wajhakashatra almasjidi alharami wahaythu makuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu wa-inna allatheenaootoo alkitaba layaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu minrabbihim wama Allahu bighafilin AAammayaAAmaloona | قد نرى تقلب وجهك في السماء فلنولينك قبلة ترضاها فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره وإن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ليعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وما الله بغافل عما يعملون قَدْ نَرَى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَمَا اللّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| نرى - We see| تقلب - (the) turning| وجهك - (of) your face| في - towards| السماء - the heaven.| فلنولينك - So We will surely turn you| قبلة - (to the) direction of prayer| ترضاها - you will be pleased with.| فول - So turn| وجهك - your face| شطر - towards the direction| المسجد - (of) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam| وحيث - and wherever| ما - that| كنتم - you are| فولوا - [so] turn| وجوهكم - your faces| شطره - (in) its direction.| وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| ليعلمون - surely know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وما - And not| الله - (is) Allah| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| يعملون - they do.| | ||||||
| 11 [2:150] | Wamin haythu kharajta fawalliwajhaka shatra almasjidi alharami wahaythuma kuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu li-allayakoona lilnnasi AAalaykum hujjatun illaallatheena thalamoo minhum falatakhshawhum waikhshawnee wali-otimma niAAmatee AAalaykumwalaAAallakum tahtadoona | ومن حيث خرجت فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ما كنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره لئلا يكون للناس عليكم حجة إلا الذين ظلموا منهم فلا تخشوهم واخشوني ولأتم نعمتي عليكم ولعلكم تهتدون وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ لِئَلاَّ يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنْهُمْ فَلاَ تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| حيث - wherever| خرجت - you start forth| فول - [so] turn| وجهك - your face| شطر - (in the) direction| المسجد - (of) Al-Masjid| الحرام - Al-Haraam.| وحيث - And wherever| ما - that| كنتم - you (all) are| فولوا - [so] turn| وجوهكم - your faces| شطره - (in) its direction,| لئلا - so that not| يكون - will be| للناس - for the people| عليكم - against you| حجة - any argument| إلا - except| الذين - those who| ظلموا - wronged| منهم - among them;| فلا - so (do) not| تخشوهم - fear them,| واخشوني - but fear Me.| ولأتم - And that I complete| نعمتي - My favor| عليكم - upon you| ولعلكم - [and] so that you may| تهتدون - (be) guided.| | ||||||
| 12 [2:172] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookuloo min tayyibati ma razaqnakum waoshkuroolillahi in kuntum iyyahu taAAbudoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم واشكروا لله إن كنتم إياه تعبدون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُلُواْ مِن طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَاشْكُرُواْ لِلّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كلوا - Eat| من - from| طيبات - (the) good| ما - (of) what| رزقناكم - We have provided you| واشكروا - and be grateful| لله - to Allah| إن - if| كنتم - you| إياه - alone| تعبدون - worship Him.| | ||||||
| 13 [2:184] | Ayyaman maAAdoodatin faman kanaminkum mareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun minayyamin okhara waAAala allatheena yuteeqoonahufidyatun taAAamu miskeenin faman tatawwaAAakhayran fahuwa khayrun lahu waan tasoomoo khayrun lakum inkuntum taAAlamoona | أياما معدودات فمن كان منكم مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر وعلى الذين يطيقونه فدية طعام مسكين فمن تطوع خيرا فهو خير له وأن تصوموا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أياما - (Fasting for) days| معدودات - numbered.| فمن - So whoever| كان - is| منكم - among you| مريضا - sick| أو - or| على - on| سفر - a journey,| فعدة - then a prescribed number| من - of| أيام - days| أخر - other.| وعلى - And on| الذين - those who| يطيقونه - can afford it,| فدية - a ransom| طعام - (of) feeding| مسكين - a poor.| فمن - And whoever| تطوع - volunteers| خيرا - good| فهو - then it| خير - (is) better| له - for him.| وأن - And to| تصوموا - fast| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you,| إن - if| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 14 [2:187] | Ohilla lakum laylata alssiyamialrrafathu ila nisa-ikum hunna libasunlakum waantum libasun lahunna AAalima Allahuannakum kuntum takhtanoona anfusakum fatabaAAalaykum waAAafa AAankum faal-ana bashiroohunnawaibtaghoo ma kataba Allahu lakum wakuloo waishraboohatta yatabayyana lakumu alkhaytu al-abyadumina alkhayti al-aswadi mina alfajri thumma atimmoo alssiyamaila allayli wala tubashiroohunna waantum AAakifoonafee almasajidi tilka hudoodu Allahi falataqrabooha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu ayatihililnnasi laAAallahum yattaqoona | أحل لكم ليلة الصيام الرفث إلى نسائكم هن لباس لكم وأنتم لباس لهن علم الله أنكم كنتم تختانون أنفسكم فتاب عليكم وعفا عنكم فالآن باشروهن وابتغوا ما كتب الله لكم وكلوا واشربوا حتى يتبين لكم الخيط الأبيض من الخيط الأسود من الفجر ثم أتموا الصيام إلى الليل ولا تباشروهن وأنتم عاكفون في المساجد تلك حدود الله فلا تقربوها كذلك يبين الله آياته للناس لعلهم يتقون أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ إِلَى نِسَآئِكُمْ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ عَلِمَ اللّهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنكُمْ فَالْآنَ بَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَابْتَغُواْ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَكُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ الصِّيَامَ إِلَى الَّيْلِ وَلاَ تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَقْرَبُوهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أحل - Permitted| لكم - for you| ليلة - (in the) nights| الصيام - (of) fasting| الرفث - (is) the approach| إلى - to| نسائكم - your wives.| هن - They| لباس - (are) garments| لكم - for you| وأنتم - and you| لباس - (are) garments| لهن - for them.| علم - Knows| الله - Allah| أنكم - that you| كنتم - used to| تختانون - deceive| أنفسكم - yourselves,| فتاب - so He turned| عليكم - towards you| وعفا - and He forgave| عنكم - [on] you.| فالآن - So now| باشروهن - have relations with them| وابتغوا - and seek| ما - what| كتب - has ordained| الله - Allah| لكم - for you.| وكلوا - And eat| واشربوا - and drink| حتى - until| يتبين - becomes distinct| لكم - to you| الخيط - the thread| الأبيض - [the] white| من - from| الخيط - the thread| الأسود - [the] black| من - of| الفجر - [the] dawn.| ثم - Then| أتموا - complete| الصيام - the fast| إلى - till| الليل - the night.| ولا - And (do) not| تباشروهن - have relations with them| وأنتم - while you| عاكفون - (are) secluded| في - in| المساجد - the masajid.| تلك - These| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (set by) Allah,| فلا - so (do) not| تقربوها - approach them.| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| آياته - His verses| للناس - for [the] people| لعلهم - so that they may| يتقون - (become) righteous.| | ||||||
| 15 [2:198] | Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tabtaghoofadlan min rabbikum fa-itha afadtum minAAarafatin faothkuroo Allaha AAindaalmashAAari alharami waothkuroohu kamahadakum wa-in kuntum min qablihi lamina alddalleena | ليس عليكم جناح أن تبتغوا فضلا من ربكم فإذا أفضتم من عرفات فاذكروا الله عند المشعر الحرام واذكروه كما هداكم وإن كنتم من قبله لمن الضالين لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَإِذَا أَفَضْتُم مِّنْ عَرَفَاتٍ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ عِندَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ وَإِن كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الضَّآلِّينَ | |||||

| 16 [2:248] | Waqala lahum nabiyyuhum inna ayatamulkihi an ya/tiyakumu alttabootu feehi sakeenatunmin rabbikum wabaqiyyatun mimma taraka alu moosawaalu haroona tahmiluhu almala-ikatuinna fee thalika laayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | وقال لهم نبيهم إن آية ملكه أن يأتيكم التابوت فيه سكينة من ربكم وبقية مما ترك آل موسى وآل هارون تحمله الملائكة إن في ذلك لآية لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| لهم - to them| نبيهم - their Prophet,| إن - "Indeed,| آية - a sign| ملكه - (of) his kingship| أن - (is) that| يأتيكم - will come to you| التابوت - the ark,| فيه - in it| سكينة - (is) tranquility| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| وبقية - and a remnant| مما - of what| ترك - (was) left| آل - (by the) family| موسى - (of) Musa| وآل - and family| هارون - (of) Harun| تحمله - will carry it| الملائكة - the Angels.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a sign| لكم - for you| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 17 [2:278] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooittaqoo Allaha watharoo ma baqiya mina alrribain kuntum mu/mineena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وذروا ما بقي من الربا إن كنتم مؤمنين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَذَرُواْ مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||

| 18 [2:280] | Wa-in kana thoo AAusratinfanathiratun ila maysaratin waan tasaddaqookhayrun lakum in kuntum taAAlamoona | وإن كان ذو عسرة فنظرة إلى ميسرة وأن تصدقوا خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون وَإِن كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ وَأَن تَصَدَّقُواْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كان - is| ذو - the (debtor)| عسرة - in difficulty,| فنظرة - then postponement| إلى - until| ميسرة - ease.| وأن - And if| تصدقوا - you remit as charity| خير - (it is) better| لكم - for you.| إن - If| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 19 [2:283] | Wa-in kuntum AAala safarin walamtajidoo katiban farihanun maqboodatun fa-inamina baAAdukum baAAdan falyu-addi allathee | وإن كنتم على سفر ولم تجدوا كاتبا فرهان مقبوضة فإن أمن بعضكم بعضا فليؤد الذي اؤتمن أمانته وليتق الله ربه ولا تكتموا الشهادة ومن يكتمها فإنه آثم قلبه والله بما تعملون عليم وَإِن كُنتُمْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ وَلَمْ تَجِدُواْ كَاتِبًا فَرِهَانٌ مَّقْبُوضَةٌ فَإِنْ أَمِنَ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَهُ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللّهَ رَبَّهُ وَلاَ تَكْتُمُواْ الشَّهَادَةَ وَمَن يَكْتُمْهَا فَإِنَّهُ آثِمٌ قَلْبُهُ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كنتم - you are| على - on| سفر - a journey| ولم - and not| تجدوا - you find| كاتبا - a scribe,| فرهان - then pledge| مقبوضة - in hand.| فإن - Then if| أمن - entrusts| بعضكم - one of you| بعضا - (to) another| فليؤد - then let discharge| الذي - the one who| اؤتمن - is entrusted| أمانته - his trust.| وليتق - And let him fear| الله - Allah,| ربه - his Lord.| ولا - And (do) not| تكتموا - conceal| الشهادة - the evidence.| ومن - And whoever| يكتمها - conceals it,| فإنه - then indeed he| آثم - (is) sinful -| قلبه - his heart.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| عليم - (is) All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 20 [3:31] | Qul in kuntum tuhibboona AllahafaittabiAAoonee yuhbibkumu Allahu wayaghfirlakum thunoobakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun | قل إن كنتم تحبون الله فاتبعوني يحببكم الله ويغفر لكم ذنوبكم والله غفور رحيم قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
