| 1 [3:105] | Wala takoonoo kaallatheenatafarraqoo waikhtalafoo min baAAdi ma jaahumualbayyinatu waola-ika lahum AAathabun AAatheemun |  ولا تكونوا كالذين تفرقوا واختلفوا من بعد ما جاءهم البينات وأولئك لهم عذاب عظيموَلاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاخْتَلَفُواْ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| تفرقوا - became divided| واختلفوا - and differed| من - from| بعد - after| ما - what| جاءهم - came to them -| البينات - the clear proofs.| وأولئك - And those| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:156] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqalooli-ikhwanihim itha daraboo fee al-ardiaw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana mamatoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalikahasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyeewayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين كفروا وقالوا لإخوانهم إذا ضربوا في الأرض أو كانوا غزى لو كانوا عندنا ما ماتوا وما قتلوا ليجعل الله ذلك حسرة في قلوبهم والله يحيي ويميت والله بما تعملون بصير يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُواْ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| كفروا - disbelieved| وقالوا - and they said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| إذا - when| ضربوا - they traveled| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أو - or| كانوا - they were| غزى - fighting,| لو - "If| كانوا - they had been| عندنا - with us,| ما - not| ماتوا - they (would have) died| وما - and not| قتلوا - they (would have) been killed."| ليجعل - So makes| الله - Allah| ذلك - that| حسرة - a regret| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death,| والله - and Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:21] | Wala takoonoo kaallatheenaqaloo samiAAna wahum la yasmaAAoona | ولا تكونوا كالذين قالوا سمعنا وهم لا يسمعون وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لاَ يَسْمَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| قالوا - say,| سمعنا - "We heard,"| وهم - while they| لا - (do) not| يسمعون - hear.| | ||||||
| 4 [8:47] | Wala takoonoo kaallatheenakharajoo min diyarihim bataran wari-aa alnnasiwayasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi waAllahubima yaAAmaloona muheetun | ولا تكونوا كالذين خرجوا من ديارهم بطرا ورئاء الناس ويصدون عن سبيل الله والله بما يعملون محيط وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ خَرَجُواْ مِن دِيَارِهِم بَطَرًا وَرِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| خرجوا - came forth| من - from| ديارهم - their homes| بطرا - boastfully| ورئاء - and showing off| الناس - (to) the people,| ويصدون - and hinder (them)| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah.| والله - And Allah| بما - of what| يعملون - they do| محيط - (is) All-Encompassing.| | ||||||
| 5 [9:69] | Kaallatheena min qablikum kanooashadda minkum quwwatan waakthara amwalan waawladanfaistamtaAAoo bikhalaqihim faistamtaAAtumbikhalaqikum kama istamtaAAa allatheena minqablikum bikhalaqihim wakhudtum kaallatheekhadoo ola-ika habitat aAAmaluhumfee alddunya waal-akhirati waola-ikahumu alkhasiroona | كالذين من قبلكم كانوا أشد منكم قوة وأكثر أموالا وأولادا فاستمتعوا بخلاقهم فاستمتعتم بخلاقكم كما استمتع الذين من قبلكم بخلاقهم وخضتم كالذي خاضوا أولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك هم الخاسرون كَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُواْ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَالاً وَأَوْلاَدًا فَاسْتَمْتَعُواْ بِخَلاَقِهِمْ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلاَقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلاَقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُواْ أُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كالذين - Like those| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| كانوا - they were| أشد - mightier| منكم - than you| قوة - (in) strength,| وأكثر - and more abundant| أموالا - (in) wealth| وأولادا - and children.| فاستمتعوا - So they enjoyed| بخلاقهم - their portion,| فاستمتعتم - and you have enjoyed| بخلاقكم - your portion| كما - like| استمتع - enjoyed| الذين - those| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| بخلاقهم - their portion,| وخضتم - and you indulge| كالذي - like the one who| خاضوا - indulges (in idle talk).| أولئك - Those,| حبطت - worthless,| أعمالهم - (are) their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| الخاسرون - (are) the losers.| | ||||||
| 6 [33:69] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena athaw moosafabarraahu Allahu mimma qaloo wakanaAAinda Allahi wajeehan | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين آذوا موسى فبرأه الله مما قالوا وكان عند الله وجيها يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ آذَوْا مُوسَى فَبَرَّأَهُ اللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا وَكَانَ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَجِيهًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| آذوا - abused| موسى - Musa| فبرأه - then Allah cleared him| الله - then Allah cleared him| مما - of what| قالوا - they said.| وكان - And he was| عند - near| الله - Allah| وجيها - honorable.| | ||||||
| 7 [45:21] | Am hasiba allatheena ijtarahooalssayyi-ati an najAAalahum kaallatheenaamanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati sawaanmahyahum wamamatuhum saa ma yahkumoona | أم حسب الذين اجترحوا السيئات أن نجعلهم كالذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات سواء محياهم ومماتهم ساء ما يحكمون أًمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَنَّ نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَاءً مَّحْيَاهُم وَمَمَاتُهُمْ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Do| حسب - think| الذين - those who| اجترحوا - commit| السيئات - evil deeds| أن - that| نجعلهم - We will make them| كالذين - like those who| آمنوا - believed| وعملوا - and did| الصالحات - righteous deeds| سواء - equal| محياهم - (in) their life| ومماتهم - and their death?| ساء - Evil is| ما - what| يحكمون - they judge!| | ||||||
| 8 [57:16] | Alam ya/ni lillatheena amanooan takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wamanazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo kaallatheenaootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu al-amadufaqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona | ألم يأن للذين آمنوا أن تخشع قلوبهم لذكر الله وما نزل من الحق ولا يكونوا كالذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبل فطال عليهم الأمد فقست قلوبهم وكثير منهم فاسقون أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأن - come (the) time| للذين - for those who| آمنوا - believed| أن - that| تخشع - become humble| قلوبهم - their hearts| لذكر - at (the) remembrance (of) Allah| الله - at (the) remembrance (of) Allah| وما - and what| نزل - has come down| من - of| الحق - the truth?| ولا - And not| يكونوا - they become| كالذين - like those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| من - before,| قبل - before,| فطال - (and) was prolonged| عليهم - for them| الأمد - the term,| فقست - so hardened| قلوبهم - their hearts;| وكثير - and many| منهم - of them| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 9 [59:19] | Wala takoonoo kaallatheenanasoo Allaha faansahum anfusahum ola-ikahumu alfasiqoona | ولا تكونوا كالذين نسوا الله فأنساهم أنفسهم أولئك هم الفاسقون وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنسَاهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| نسوا - forgot| الله - Allah,| فأنساهم - so He made them forget| أنفسهم - themselves.| أولئك - Those| هم - [they]| الفاسقون - (are) the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
