| 1 [4:90] | Illa allatheena yasiloonaila qawmin baynakum wabaynahum meethaqun aw jaookumhasirat sudooruhum an yuqatilookum awyuqatiloo qawmahum walaw shaa Allahu lasallatahumAAalaykum falaqatalookum fa-ini iAAtazalookum falam yuqatilookumwaalqaw ilaykumu alssalama fama jaAAala Allahulakum AAalayhim sabeelan |  إلا الذين يصلون إلى قوم بينكم وبينهم ميثاق أو جاءوكم حصرت صدورهم أن يقاتلوكم أو يقاتلوا قومهم ولو شاء الله لسلطهم عليكم فلقاتلوكم فإن اعتزلوكم فلم يقاتلوكم وألقوا إليكم السلم فما جعل الله لكم عليهم سبيلاإِلاَّ الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَآؤُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَن يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْاْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those who| يصلون - join| إلى - [to]| قوم - a group| بينكم - between you| وبينهم - and between them| ميثاق - (is) a treaty| أو - or| جاءوكم - those who come to you| حصرت - restraining| صدورهم - their hearts| أن - that| يقاتلوكم - they fight you| أو - or| يقاتلوا - they fight| قومهم - their people.| ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| الله - Allah,| لسلطهم - surely He (would have) given them power| عليكم - over you,| فلقاتلوكم - and surely they (would have) fought you.| فإن - So if| اعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| فلم - and (do) not| يقاتلوكم - fight against you| وألقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| فما - then not| جعل - (has) made| الله - Allah| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:91] | Satajidoona akhareena yureedoona anya/manookum waya/manoo qawmahum kulla ma ruddoo ilaalfitnati orkisoo feeha fa-in lam yaAAtazilookum wayulqooilaykumu alssalama wayakuffoo aydiyahum fakhuthoohumwaoqtuloohum haythu thaqiftumoohum waola-ikumjaAAalna lakum AAalayhim sultanan mubeenan | ستجدون آخرين يريدون أن يأمنوكم ويأمنوا قومهم كل ما ردوا إلى الفتنة أركسوا فيها فإن لم يعتزلوكم ويلقوا إليكم السلم ويكفوا أيديهم فخذوهم واقتلوهم حيث ثقفتموهم وأولئكم جعلنا لكم عليهم سلطانا مبينا سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوَاْ إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُواْ فِيهَا فَإِن لَّمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُواْ إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأُوْلَـئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُّبِينًا | |||||
| Words | |ستجدون - You will find| آخرين - others| يريدون - wishing| أن - that| يأمنوكم - they be secure from you| ويأمنوا - and they be secure from| قومهم - their people,| كل - Everytime| ما - that| ردوا - they are returned| إلى - to| الفتنة - the temptation,| أركسوا - they are plunged| فيها - into it.| فإن - So if| لم - not| يعتزلوكم - they withdraw from you| ويلقوا - and offer| إليكم - to you| السلم - [the] peace| ويكفوا - and they restrain| أيديهم - their hands,| فخذوهم - then seize them| واقتلوهم - and kill them| حيث - wherever| ثقفتموهم - you find them.| وأولئكم - And those -| جعلنا - We made| لكم - for you| عليهم - against them| سلطانا - an authority| مبينا - clear.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:122] | Wama kana almu/minoonaliyanfiroo kaffatan falawla nafara min kullifirqatin minhum ta-ifatun liyatafaqqahoo fee alddeeniwaliyunthiroo qawmahum itha rajaAAoo ilayhimlaAAallahum yahtharoona | وما كان المؤمنون لينفروا كافة فلولا نفر من كل فرقة منهم طائفة ليتفقهوا في الدين ولينذروا قومهم إذا رجعوا إليهم لعلهم يحذرون وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنفِرُواْ كَآفَّةً فَلَوْلاَ نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُواْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - is| المؤمنون - (for) the believers| لينفروا - that they go forth| كافة - all together.| فلولا - So if not| نفر - go forth| من - from| كل - every| فرقة - group| منهم - among them| طائفة - a party| ليتفقهوا - that they may obtain understanding| في - in| الدين - the religion,| ولينذروا - and that they may warn| قومهم - their people| إذا - when| رجعوا - they return| إليهم - to them,| لعلهم - so that they may| يحذرون - beware.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:74] | Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihi rusulanila qawmihim fajaoohum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboobihi min qablu kathalika natbaAAu AAalaquloobi almuAAtadeena | ثم بعثنا من بعده رسلا إلى قومهم فجاءوهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا به من قبل كذلك نطبع على قلوب المعتدين ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلاً إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بعثنا - We sent| من - after him| بعده - after him| رسلا - Messengers| إلى - to| قومهم - their people,| فجاءوهم - and they came to them| بالبينات - with clear proofs.| فما - But not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| بما - what| كذبوا - they had denied| به - [it]| من - before.| قبل - before.| كذلك - Thus| نطبع - We seal| على - [on]| قلوب - the hearts| المعتدين - (of) the transgressors.| | ||||||
| 5 [14:28] | Alam tara ila allatheenabaddaloo niAAmata Allahi kufran waahalloo qawmahumdara albawari | ألم تر إلى الذين بدلوا نعمت الله كفرا وأحلوا قومهم دار البوار أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّواْ قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Have not| تر - you seen| إلى - [to]| الذين - those who| بدلوا - (have) changed| نعمت - (the) Favor| الله - (of) Allah| كفرا - (for) disbelief| وأحلوا - and they led| قومهم - their people| دار - (to the) house| البوار - (of) destruction?| | ||||||
| 6 [30:47] | Walaqad arsalna min qablika rusulanila qawmihim fajaoohum bialbayyinatifaintaqamna mina allatheena ajramoo wakanahaqqan AAalayna nasru almu/mineena | ولقد أرسلنا من قبلك رسلا إلى قومهم فجاءوهم بالبينات فانتقمنا من الذين أجرموا وكان حقا علينا نصر المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أرسلنا - We sent| من - before you| قبلك - before you| رسلا - Messengers| إلى - to| قومهم - their people,| فجاءوهم - and they came to them| بالبينات - with clear proofs;| فانتقمنا - then We took retribution| من - from| الذين - those who| أجرموا - committed crimes.| وكان - And it was| حقا - incumbent| علينا - upon Us| نصر - (to) help| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 7 [46:29] | Wa-ith sarafna ilaykanafaran mina aljinni yastamiAAoona alqur-ana falammahadaroohu qaloo ansitoo falammaqudiya wallaw ila qawmihim munthireena | وإذ صرفنا إليك نفرا من الجن يستمعون القرآن فلما حضروه قالوا أنصتوا فلما قضي ولوا إلى قومهم منذرين وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنصِتُوا فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَى قَوْمِهِم مُّنذِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| صرفنا - We directed| إليك - to you| نفرا - a party| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| يستمعون - listening| القرآن - (to) the Quran.| فلما - And when| حضروه - they attended it,| قالوا - they said,| أنصتوا - "Listen quietly."| فلما - And when| قضي - it was concluded,| ولوا - they turned back| إلى - to| قومهم - their people| منذرين - (as) warners.| | ||||||
