| 1 [5:106] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooshahadatu baynikum itha hadara ahadakumualmawtu heena alwasiyyati ithnani thawaAAadlin minkum aw akharani min ghayrikum in antum darabtumfee al-ardi faasabatkum museebatu almawti tahbisoonahumamin baAAdi alssalati fayuqsimani biAllahiini irtabtum la nashtaree bihi thamanan walaw kana thaqurba wala naktumu shahadata Allahiinna ithan lamina al-athimeena |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا شهادة بينكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت حين الوصية اثنان ذوا عدل منكم أو آخران من غيركم إن أنتم ضربتم في الأرض فأصابتكم مصيبة الموت تحبسونهما من بعد الصلاة فيقسمان بالله إن ارتبتم لا نشتري به ثمنا ولو كان ذا قربى ولا نكتم شهادة الله إنا إذا لمن الآثمينيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِن بَعْدِ الصَّلاَةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لاَ نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلاَ نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الْآثِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| شهادة - (Take) testimony| بينكم - among you| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدكم - one of you| الموت - [the] death,| حين - (at the) time (of making)| الوصية - [the] a will| اثنان - two| ذوا - men,| عدل - just,| منكم - among you,| أو - or| آخران - two others| من - from| غيركم - other than you| إن - if| أنتم - You| ضربتم - (are) travel(ing)| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فأصابتكم - then befalls you| مصيبة - calamity| الموت - (of) [the] death.| تحبسونهما - Detain both of them| من - from| بعد - after| الصلاة - the prayer| فيقسمان - and let them both swear| بالله - by Allah| إن - if| ارتبتم - you doubt,| لا - "Not| نشتري - we will exchange| به - it for| ثمنا - a price| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (of)| قربى - a near relative,| ولا - and not| نكتم - we will conceal| شهادة - testimony| الله - (of) Allah.| إنا - Indeed, we| إذا - then| لمن - (will) surely (be) of| الآثمين - the sinners."| | ||||||
| 2 [6:152] | Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo alkayla waalmeezana bialqistila nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha wa-ithaqultum faiAAdiloo walaw kana tha qurbawabiAAahdi Allahi awfoo thalikum wassakumbihi laAAallakum tathakkaroona | ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا الكيل والميزان بالقسط لا نكلف نفسا إلا وسعها وإذا قلتم فاعدلوا ولو كان ذا قربى وبعهد الله أوفوا ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تذكرون وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ لاَ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُواْ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللّهِ أَوْفُواْ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقربوا - go near| مال - wealth| اليتيم - (of) the orphans| إلا - except| بالتي - with that| هي - which| أحسن - (is) best| حتى - until| يبلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity.| وأوفوا - And give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| بالقسط - with justice.| لا - Not| نكلف - We burden| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - (to) its capacity.| وإذا - And when| قلتم - you speak| فاعدلوا - then be just| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (one of).| قربى - a near relative.| وبعهد - And (the) Covenant| الله - (of) Allah| أوفوا - fulfil.| ذلكم - That| وصاكم - (He) has enjoined on you| به - with it| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:113] | Ma kana lilnnabiyyi waallatheenaamanoo an yastaghfiroo lilmushrikeena walaw kanooolee qurba min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahum annahum as-habualjaheemi | ما كان للنبي والذين آمنوا أن يستغفروا للمشركين ولو كانوا أولي قربى من بعد ما تبين لهم أنهم أصحاب الجحيم مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُواْ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ أُوْلِي قُرْبَى مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| كان - (it) is| للنبي - for the Prophet| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believe| أن - that| يستغفروا - they ask forgiveness| للمشركين - for the polytheists,| ولو - even though| كانوا - they be| أولي - near of kin,| قربى - near of kin,| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| تبين - has become clear| لهم - to them,| أنهم - that they| أصحاب - (are the) companions| الجحيم - (of) the Hellfire.| | ||||||
| 4 [35:18] | Wala taziru waziratun wizraokhra wa-in tadAAu muthqalatun ila himlihala yuhmal minhu shay-on walaw kana thaqurba innama tunthiru allatheenayakhshawna rabbahum bialghaybi waaqamoo alssalatawaman tazakka fa-innama yatazakka linafsihiwa-ila Allahi almaseeru | ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى وإن تدع مثقلة إلى حملها لا يحمل منه شيء ولو كان ذا قربى إنما تنذر الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب وأقاموا الصلاة ومن تزكى فإنما يتزكى لنفسه وإلى الله المصير وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى وَإِن تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَى حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَمَن تَزَكَّى فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّى لِنَفْسِهِ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| تزر - will bear| وازرة - bearer of burdens| وزر - burden| أخرى - (of) another.| وإن - And if| تدع - calls| مثقلة - a heavily laden| إلى - to| حملها - (carry) its load,| لا - not| يحمل - will be carried| منه - of it| شيء - anything| ولو - even if| كان - he be| ذا - near of kin.| قربى - near of kin.| إنما - Only| تنذر - you can warn| الذين - those who| يخشون - fear| ربهم - their Lord -| بالغيب - unseen| وأقاموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer.| ومن - And whoever| تزكى - purifies himself,| فإنما - then only| يتزكى - he purifies| لنفسه - for his own self.| وإلى - And to| الله - Allah| المصير - (is) the destination.| | ||||||
