| 1 [28:23] | Walamma warada maa madyanawajada AAalayhi ommatan mina alnnasi yasqoonawawajada min doonihimu imraatayni tathoodani qalama khatbukuma qalata lanasqee hatta yusdira alrriAAaowaaboona shaykhun kabeerun |  ولما ورد ماء مدين وجد عليه أمة من الناس يسقون ووجد من دونهم امرأتين تذودان قال ما خطبكما قالتا لا نسقي حتى يصدر الرعاء وأبونا شيخ كبيروَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَاءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِي حَتَّى يُصْدِرَ الرِّعَاءُ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| ورد - he came| ماء - (to the) water| مدين - (of) Madyan,| وجد - he found| عليه - on it| أمة - a group| من - of| الناس - men| يسقون - watering,| ووجد - and he found| من - besides them| دونهم - besides them| امرأتين - two women| تذودان - keeping back.| قال - He said,| ما - "What| خطبكما - (is the) matter with both of you?"| قالتا - They said,| لا - "We cannot water| نسقي - "We cannot water| حتى - until| يصدر - take away| الرعاء - the shepherds;| وأبونا - and our father| شيخ - (is) a very old man."| كبير - (is) a very old man."| | ||||||
| 2 [41:11] | Thumma istawa ila alssama-iwahiya dukhanun faqala laha walil-ardii/tiya tawAAan aw karhan qalata ataynata-iAAeena | ثم استوى إلى السماء وهي دخان فقال لها وللأرض ائتيا طوعا أو كرها قالتا أتينا طائعين ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ اِئْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| استوى - He directed (Himself)| إلى - towards| السماء - the heaven| وهي - while it (was)| دخان - smoke,| فقال - and He said| لها - to it| وللأرض - and to the earth,| ائتيا - "Come both of you| طوعا - willingly| أو - or| كرها - unwillingly."| قالتا - They both said,| أتينا - "We come| طائعين - willingly."| | ||||||
