| 1 [11:62] | Qaloo ya salihuqad kunta feena marjuwwan qabla hatha atanhanaan naAAbuda ma yaAAbudu abaonawa-innana lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonailayhi mureebun |  قالوا يا صالح قد كنت فينا مرجوا قبل هذا أتنهانا أن نعبد ما يعبد آباؤنا وإننا لفي شك مما تدعونا إليه مريبقَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَـذَا أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| صالح - O Salih!| قد - Verily| كنت - you were| فينا - among us| مرجوا - the one in whom hope was placed| قبل - before| هذا - this.| أتنهانا - Do you forbid us| أن - that| نعبد - we worship| ما - what| يعبد - our forefathers worshipped?| آباؤنا - our forefathers worshipped?| وإننا - And indeed we| لفي - surely (are) in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعونا - you call us| إليه - to it,| مريب - suspicious."| | ||||||
| 2 [11:91] | Qaloo ya shuAAaybu manafqahu katheeran mimma taqoolu wa-inna lanarakafeena daAAeefan walawla rahtukalarajamnaka wama anta AAalayna biAAazeezin | قالوا يا شعيب ما نفقه كثيرا مما تقول وإنا لنراك فينا ضعيفا ولولا رهطك لرجمناك وما أنت علينا بعزيز قَالُواْ يَا شُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًا وَلَوْلاَ رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَاكَ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| شعيب - "O Shuaib!| ما - Not| نفقه - we understand| كثيرا - much| مما - of what| تقول - you say,| وإنا - and indeed, we| لنراك - surely [we] see you| فينا - among us| ضعيفا - weak.| ولولا - And if not| رهطك - for your family| لرجمناك - surely we would have stoned you,| وما - and you are not| أنت - and you are not| علينا - against us| بعزيز - mighty."| | ||||||
| 3 [26:18] | Qala alam nurabbika feenawaleedan walabithta feena min AAumurika sineena | قال ألم نربك فينا وليدا ولبثت فينا من عمرك سنين قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| ألم - "Did not| نربك - we bring you up| فينا - among us| وليدا - (as) a child,| ولبثت - and you remained| فينا - among us| من - of| عمرك - your life| سنين - years?| | ||||||
| 4 [29:69] | Waallatheena jahadoofeena lanahdiyannahum subulana wa-inna AllahalamaAAa almuhsineena | والذين جاهدوا فينا لنهدينهم سبلنا وإن الله لمع المحسنين وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| جاهدوا - strive| فينا - for Us,| لنهدينهم - We will surely, guide them| سبلنا - (to) Our ways.| وإن - And indeed,| الله - Allah| لمع - surely (is) with| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
