| 1 [2:60] | Wa-ithi istasqa moosaliqawmihi faqulna idrib biAAasaka alhajarafainfajarat minhu ithnata AAashrata AAaynan qadAAalima kullu onasin mashrabahum kuloo waishraboomin rizqi Allahi wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideena |  وإذ استسقى موسى لقومه فقلنا اضرب بعصاك الحجر فانفجرت منه اثنتا عشرة عينا قد علم كل أناس مشربهم كلوا واشربوا من رزق الله ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدينوَإِذِ اسْتَسْقَى مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَ فَانْفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْناً قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ كُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْ مِن رِّزْقِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْاْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| استسقى - asked (for) water| موسى - Musa| لقومه - for his people,| فقلنا - [so] We said,| اضرب - "Strike| بعصاك - with your staff| الحجر - the stone."| فانفجرت - Then gushed forth| منه - from it| اثنتا - (of)| عشرة - twelve| عينا - springs.| قد - Indeed| علم - knew| كل - all| أناس - (the) people| مشربهم - their drinking place.| كلوا - "Eat| واشربوا - and drink| من - from| رزق - (the) provision (of)| الله - Allah,| ولا - and (do) not| تعثوا - act wickedly| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مفسدين - spreading corruption."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:65] | Walaqad AAalimtumu allatheenaiAAtadaw minkum fee alssabti faqulna lahum koonooqiradatan khasi-eena | ولقد علمتم الذين اعتدوا منكم في السبت فقلنا لهم كونوا قردة خاسئين وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِينَ اعْتَدَواْ مِنكُمْ فِي السَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُواْ قِرَدَةً خَاسِئِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed,| علمتم - you knew| الذين - those who| اعتدوا - transgressed| منكم - among you| في - in| السبت - the (matter of) Sabbath.| فقلنا - So We said| لهم - to them,| كونوا - "Be| قردة - apes,| خاسئين - despised."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:73] | Faqulna idriboohu bibaAAdihakathalika yuhyee Allahu almawtawayureekum ayatihi laAAallakum taAAqiloona | فقلنا اضربوه ببعضها كذلك يحيي الله الموتى ويريكم آياته لعلكم تعقلون فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا كَذَلِكَ يُحْيِ اللّهُ الْمَوْتَى وَيُرِيْكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فقلنا - So We said,| اضربوه - "Strike him| ببعضها - with a part of it."| كذلك - Like this| يحيي - revives| الله - Allah| الموتى - the dead,| ويريكم - and shows you| آياته - His Signs,| لعلكم - perhaps you may| تعقلون - use your intellect.| | ||||||
| 4 [20:117] | Faqulna ya adamu innahatha AAaduwwun laka walizawjika falayukhrijannakuma mina aljannati fatashqa | فقلنا يا آدم إن هذا عدو لك ولزوجك فلا يخرجنكما من الجنة فتشقى فَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ هَذَا عَدُوٌّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَى | |||||
| Words | |فقلنا - Then We said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| عدو - (is) an enemy| لك - to you| ولزوجك - and to your wife.| فلا - So not| يخرجنكما - (let) him drive you both| من - from| الجنة - Paradise| فتشقى - so (that) you would suffer.| | ||||||
| 5 [25:36] | Faqulna ithhaba ilaalqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafadammarnahum tadmeeran | فقلنا اذهبا إلى القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فدمرناهم تدميرا فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَا إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَاهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |فقلنا - Then We said,| اذهبا - "Go both of you| إلى - to| القوم - the people,| الذين - those who| كذبوا - have denied,| بآياتنا - Our Signs."| فدمرناهم - Then We destroyed them| تدميرا - (with) destruction.| | ||||||
| 6 [28:75] | WanazaAAna min kulli ommatinshaheedan faqulna hatoo burhanakumfaAAalimoo anna alhaqqa lillahi wadallaAAanhum ma kanoo yaftaroona | ونزعنا من كل أمة شهيدا فقلنا هاتوا برهانكم فعلموا أن الحق لله وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوا أَنَّ الْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ونزعنا - And We will draw forth| من - from| كل - every| أمة - nation| شهيدا - a witness| فقلنا - and We will say,| هاتوا - "Bring| برهانكم - your proof?"| فعلموا - Then they will know| أن - that| الحق - the truth| لله - (is) for Allah| وضل - and (will be) lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
