| 1 [2:76] | Wa-itha laqoo allatheena amanooqaloo amanna wa-itha khalabaAAduhum ila baAAdin qaloo atuhaddithoonahumbima fataha Allahu AAalaykum liyuhajjookumbihi AAinda rabbikum afala taAAqiloona |  وإذا لقوا الذين آمنوا قالوا آمنا وإذا خلا بعضهم إلى بعض قالوا أتحدثونهم بما فتح الله عليكم ليحاجوكم به عند ربكم أفلا تعقلونوَإِذَا لَقُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ قَالُواْ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| لقوا - they meet| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d],| قالوا - they say,| آمنا - "We have believed."| وإذا - But when| خلا - meet in private| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - with| بعض - some (others),| قالوا - they say,| أتحدثونهم - "Do you tell them| بما - what| فتح - has| الله - Allah| عليكم - to you| ليحاجوكم - so that they argue with you| به - therewith| عند - before| ربكم - your Lord?| أفلا - Then do (you) not| تعقلون - understand?"| | ||||||
| 2 [4:141] | Allatheena yatarabbasoonabikum fa-in kana lakum fathun mina Allahi qalooalam nakun maAAakum wa-in kana lilkafireena naseebunqaloo alam nastahwith AAalaykum wanamnaAAkummina almu/mineena faAllahu yahkumu baynakumyawma alqiyamati walan yajAAala Allahu lilkafireenaAAala almu/mineena sabeelan | الذين يتربصون بكم فإن كان لكم فتح من الله قالوا ألم نكن معكم وإن كان للكافرين نصيب قالوا ألم نستحوذ عليكم ونمنعكم من المؤمنين فالله يحكم بينكم يوم القيامة ولن يجعل الله للكافرين على المؤمنين سبيلا الَّذِينَ يَتَرَبَّصُونَ بِكُمْ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ فَتْحٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ وَإِن كَانَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نَصِيبٌ قَالُواْ أَلَمْ نَسْتَحْوِذْ عَلَيْكُمْ وَنَمْنَعْكُم مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يتربصون - are waiting| بكم - for you.| فإن - Then if| كان - was| لكم - for you| فتح - a victory| من - from| الله - Allah| قالوا - they say,| ألم - "Were not| نكن - we| معكم - with you?"| وإن - But if| كان - (there) was| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| نصيب - a chance| قالوا - they said,| ألم - "Did not| نستحوذ - we have advantage| عليكم - over you| ونمنعكم - and we protected you| من - from| المؤمنين - the believers?"| فالله - And Allah| يحكم - will judge| بينكم - between you| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection,| ولن - and never| يجعل - will make| الله - Allah| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| على - over| المؤمنين - the believers| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
