| 1 [20:77] | Walaqad awhayna ilamoosa an asri biAAibadee faidriblahum tareeqan fee albahri yabasan la takhafudarakan wala takhsha |  ولقد أوحينا إلى موسى أن أسر بعبادي فاضرب لهم طريقا في البحر يبسا لا تخاف دركا ولا تخشىوَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي فَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقًا فِي الْبَحْرِ يَبَسًا لَّا تَخَافُ دَرَكًا وَلَا تَخْشَى | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أوحينا - We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa| أن - that,| أسر - "Travel by night| بعبادي - with My slaves| فاضرب - and strike| لهم - for them| طريقا - a path| في - in| البحر - the sea| يبسا - dry;| لا - not| تخاف - fearing| دركا - to be overtaken| ولا - and not| تخشى - being afraid."| | ||||||
| 2 [38:44] | Wakhuth biyadika dighthan faidribbihi wala tahnath inna wajadnahu sabiranniAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun | وخذ بيدك ضغثا فاضرب به ولا تحنث إنا وجدناه صابرا نعم العبد إنه أواب وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَاضْرِب بِّهِ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ صَابِرًا نِّعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ | |||||
| Words | |وخذ - "And take| بيدك - in your hand| ضغثا - a bunch| فاضرب - and strike| به - with it| ولا - and (do) not| تحنث - break (your) oath."| إنا - Indeed, We| وجدناه - [We] found him| صابرا - patient,| نعم - an excellent| العبد - slave.| إنه - Indeed, he| أواب - repeatedly turned.| | ||||||
