| 1 [38:24] | Qala laqad thalamakabisu-ali naAAjatika ila niAAajihi wa-innakatheeran mina alkhulata-i layabghee baAAduhum AAalabaAAdin illa allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati waqaleelun mahum wathanna dawoodu annama fatannahufaistaghfara rabbahu wakharra rakiAAan waanaba |  قال لقد ظلمك بسؤال نعجتك إلى نعاجه وإن كثيرا من الخلطاء ليبغي بعضهم على بعض إلا الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات وقليل ما هم وظن داوود أنما فتناه فاستغفر ربه وخر راكعا وأنابقَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَى نِعَاجِهِ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْخُلَطَاءِ لَيَبْغِي بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَقَلِيلٌ مَّا هُمْ وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاهُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| لقد - "Certainly,| ظلمك - he has wronged you| بسؤال - by demanding| نعجتك - your ewe| إلى - to| نعاجه - his ewes.| وإن - And indeed,| كثيرا - many| من - of| الخلطاء - the partners| ليبغي - certainly oppress| بعضهم - some of them| على - [on]| بعض - another| إلا - except| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| وعملوا - and do| الصالحات - righteous deeds| وقليل - and few| ما - (are) they."| هم - (are) they."| وظن - And became certain| داوود - Dawood| أنما - that| فتناه - We (had) tried him,| فاستغفر - and he asked forgiveness| ربه - (of) his Lord| وخر - and fell down| راكعا - bowing| وأناب - and turned in repentance.| | ||||||
| 2 [48:11] | Sayaqoolu laka almukhallafoona mina al-aAArabishaghalatna amwaluna waahloona faistaghfirlana yaqooloona bi-alsinatihim ma laysa feequloobihim qul faman yamliku lakum mina Allahi shay-an inarada bikum darran aw arada bikum nafAAanbal kana Allahu bima taAAmaloona khabeeran | سيقول لك المخلفون من الأعراب شغلتنا أموالنا وأهلونا فاستغفر لنا يقولون بألسنتهم ما ليس في قلوبهم قل فمن يملك لكم من الله شيئا إن أراد بكم ضرا أو أراد بكم نفعا بل كان الله بما تعملون خبيرا سَيَقُولُ لَكَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ شَغَلَتْنَا أَمْوَالُنَا وَأَهْلُونَا فَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا يَقُولُونَ بِأَلْسِنَتِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ لَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ ضَرًّا أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ نَفْعًا بَلْ كَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقول - Will say| لك - to you| المخلفون - those who remained behind| من - of| الأعراب - the Bedouins,| شغلتنا - "Kept us busy| أموالنا - our properties| وأهلونا - and our families,| فاستغفر - so ask forgiveness| لنا - for us."| يقولون - They say| بألسنتهم - with their tongues| ما - what| ليس - is not| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| قل - Say,| فمن - "Then who| يملك - has power| لكم - for you| من - against| الله - Allah| شيئا - (in) anything,| إن - if| أراد - He intends| بكم - for you| ضرا - harm| أو - or| أراد - He intends| بكم - for you| نفعا - a benefit?| بل - Nay,| كان - is| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| خبيرا - All-Aware.| | ||||||
