| 1 [21:76] | Wanoohan ith nadamin qablu faistajabna lahu fanajjaynahuwaahlahu mina alkarbi alAAatheemi |  ونوحا إذ نادى من قبل فاستجبنا له فنجيناه وأهله من الكرب العظيموَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَى مِن قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |ونوحا - And Nuh,| إذ - when| نادى - he called| من - before,| قبل - before,| فاستجبنا - so We responded| له - to him| فنجيناه - and We saved him| وأهله - and his family| من - from| الكرب - the affliction,| العظيم - [the] great.| | ||||||
| 2 [21:84] | Faistajabna lahu fakashafnama bihi min durrin waataynahu ahlahuwamithlahum maAAahum rahmatan min AAindina wathikralilAAabideena | فاستجبنا له فكشفنا ما به من ضر وآتيناه أهله ومثلهم معهم رحمة من عندنا وذكرى للعابدين فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِن ضُرٍّ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَذِكْرَى لِلْعَابِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجبنا - So We responded| له - to him| فكشفنا - and We removed| ما - what| به - (was) on him| من - of| ضر - (the) adversity.| وآتيناه - And We gave him| أهله - his family| ومثلهم - and (the) like thereof| معهم - with them| رحمة - (as) Mercy| من - from Ourselves,| عندنا - from Ourselves,| وذكرى - and a reminder| للعابدين - for the worshippers.| | ||||||
| 3 [21:88] | Faistajabna lahu wanajjaynahumina alghammi wakathalika nunjee almu/mineena | فاستجبنا له ونجيناه من الغم وكذلك ننجي المؤمنين فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذَلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجبنا - So We responded| له - to him,| ونجيناه - and We saved him| من - from| الغم - the distress.| وكذلك - And thus| ننجي - We save| المؤمنين - the believers.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:90] | Faistajabna lahu wawahabnalahu yahya waaslahna lahuzawjahu innahum kanoo yusariAAoona fee alkhayratiwayadAAoonana raghaban warahaban wakanoo lanakhashiAAeena | فاستجبنا له ووهبنا له يحيى وأصلحنا له زوجه إنهم كانوا يسارعون في الخيرات ويدعوننا رغبا ورهبا وكانوا لنا خاشعين فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَى وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجبنا - So We responded| له - to him,| ووهبنا - and We bestowed| له - on him| يحيى - Yahya,| وأصلحنا - and We cured| له - for him| زوجه - his wife.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - used (to)| يسارعون - hasten| في - in| الخيرات - good deeds,| ويدعوننا - and they supplicate to Us| رغبا - (in) hope| ورهبا - and fear,| وكانوا - and they were| لنا - to Us| خاشعين - humbly submissive.| | ||||||
