| 1 [2:249] | Falamma fasala talootubialjunoodi qala inna Allaha mubtaleekumbinaharin faman shariba minhu falaysa minnee waman lam yatAAamhufa-innahu minnee illa mani ightarafa ghurfatan biyadihifashariboo minhu illa qaleelan minhum falamma jawazahuhuwa waallatheena amanoo maAAahu qaloola taqata lana alyawma bijalootawajunoodihi qala allatheena yathunnoonaannahum mulaqoo Allahi kam min fi-atin qaleelatinghalabat fi-atan katheeratan bi-ithni Allahi waAllahumaAAa alssabireena |  فلما فصل طالوت بالجنود قال إن الله مبتليكم بنهر فمن شرب منه فليس مني ومن لم يطعمه فإنه مني إلا من اغترف غرفة بيده فشربوا منه إلا قليلا منهم فلما جاوزه هو والذين آمنوا معه قالوا لا طاقة لنا اليوم بجالوت وجنوده قال الذين يظنون أنهم ملاقو الله كم من فئة قليلة غلبت فئة كثيرة بإذن الله والله مع الصابرينفَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِالْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللّهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي إِلاَّ مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ فَشَرِبُواْ مِنْهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمْ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ هُوَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ قَالُواْ لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا الْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلاَقُو اللّهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| فصل - set out| طالوت - Talut| بالجنود - with the forces| قال - he said,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| مبتليكم - will test you| بنهر - with a river.| فمن - So whoever| شرب - drinks| منه - from it| فليس - then he is not| مني - from me,| ومن - and whoever| لم - (does) not| يطعمه - taste it| فإنه - then indeed, he| مني - (is) from me| إلا - except| من - whoever| اغترف - takes| غرفة - (in the) hollow| بيده - (of) his hand."| فشربوا - Then they drank| منه - from it| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منهم - of them.| فلما - Then when| جاوزه - he crossed it,| هو - he| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him,| قالوا - they said,| لا - "No| طاقة - strength| لنا - for us| اليوم - today| بجالوت - against Jalut| وجنوده - and his troops."| قال - Said| الذين - those who| يظنون - were certain| أنهم - that they| ملاقو - (would) meet| الله - Allah,| كم - "How many| من - of| فئة - a company| قليلة - small| غلبت - overcame| فئة - a company| كثيرة - large| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| والله - And Allah| مع - (is) with| الصابرين - the patient ones."| | ||||||
| 2 [3:13] | Qad kana lakum ayatun feefi-atayni iltaqata fi-atun tuqatilu fee sabeeli Allahiwaokhra kafiratun yarawnahum mithlayhim ra/yaalAAayni waAllahu yu-ayyidu binasrihi manyashao inna fee thalika laAAibratan li-olee al-absari | قد كان لكم آية في فئتين التقتا فئة تقاتل في سبيل الله وأخرى كافرة يرونهم مثليهم رأي العين والله يؤيد بنصره من يشاء إن في ذلك لعبرة لأولي الأبصار قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَأُخْرَى كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ وَاللّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُوْلِي الْأَبْصَارِ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Surely| كان - it was| لكم - for you| آية - a sign| في - in| فئتين - (the) two hosts| التقتا - which met -| فئة - one group| تقاتل - fighting| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وأخرى - and another| كافرة - disbelievers.| يرونهم - They were seeing them| مثليهم - twice of them| رأي - with the sight| العين - (of) their eyes.| والله - And Allah| يؤيد - supports| بنصره - with His help| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لعبرة - surely (is) a lesson| لأولي - for the owners| الأبصار - (of) vision.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:16] | Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahuilla mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizanila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahiwama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru | ومن يولهم يومئذ دبره إلا متحرفا لقتال أو متحيزا إلى فئة فقد باء بغضب من الله ومأواه جهنم وبئس المصير وَمَن يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ إِلاَّ مُتَحَرِّفاً لِّقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزاً إِلَى فِئَةٍ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يولهم - turns to them| يومئذ - that day| دبره - his back| إلا - except| متحرفا - (as) a strategy| لقتال - of war| أو - or| متحيزا - (to) join| إلى - to| فئة - a group,| فقد - certainly| باء - (he has) incurred| بغضب - wrath| من - of| الله - Allah| ومأواه - and his abode| جهنم - (is) Hell,| وبئس - a wretched| المصير - destination.| | ||||||
| 4 [8:45] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha laqeetum fi-atan faothbutoo waothkurooAllaha katheeran laAAallakum tuflihoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا لقيتم فئة فاثبتوا واذكروا الله كثيرا لعلكم تفلحون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| إذا - When| لقيتم - you meet| فئة - a force,| فاثبتوا - then be firm| واذكروا - and remember| الله - Allah| كثيرا - much,| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - (be) successful.| | ||||||
| 5 [18:43] | Walam takun lahu fi-atun yansuroonahumin dooni Allahi wama kana muntasiran | ولم تكن له فئة ينصرونه من دون الله وما كان منتصرا وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُ فِئَةٌ يَنصُرُونَهُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مُنتَصِرًا | |||||
| Words | |ولم - And not| تكن - was| له - for him| فئة - a group| ينصرونه - (to) help him| من - other than| دون - other than| الله - Allah,| وما - and not| كان - was| منتصرا - (he) supported.| | ||||||
| 6 [28:81] | Fakhasafna bihi wabidarihial-arda fama kana lahu min fi-atin yansuroonahumin dooni Allahi wama kana mina almuntasireena | فخسفنا به وبداره الأرض فما كان له من فئة ينصرونه من دون الله وما كان من المنتصرين فَخَسَفْنَا بِهِ وَبِدَارِهِ الْأَرْضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُ مِن فِئَةٍ يَنصُرُونَهُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُنتَصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فخسفنا - Then We caused to swallow up,| به - him| وبداره - and his home,| الأرض - the earth.| فما - Then not| كان - was| له - for him| من - any| فئة - group| ينصرونه - (to) help him| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah,| وما - and not| كان - was| من - (he) of| المنتصرين - those who (could) defend themselves.| | ||||||
