| 1 [5:30] | FatawwaAAat lahu nafsuhu qatlaakheehi faqatalahu faasbaha mina alkhasireena |  فطوعت له نفسه قتل أخيه فقتله فأصبح من الخاسرينفَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُ نَفْسُهُ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فطوعت - Then prompted| له - to him| نفسه - his soul| قتل - (to) kill| أخيه - his brother,| فقتله - so he killed him| فأصبح - and became| من - of| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:31] | FabaAAatha Allahu ghuraban yabhathufee al-ardi liyuriyahu kayfa yuwaree saw-ataakheehi qala ya waylata aAAajaztu an akoonamithla hatha alghurabi faowariya saw-ataakhee faasbaha mina alnnadimeena | فبعث الله غرابا يبحث في الأرض ليريه كيف يواري سوءة أخيه قال يا ويلتا أعجزت أن أكون مثل هذا الغراب فأواري سوءة أخي فأصبح من النادمين فَبَعَثَ اللّهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُ كَيْفَ يُوَارِي سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَا وَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَـذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَارِيَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِي فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ النَّادِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فبعث - Then (was) sent| الله - (by) Allah| غرابا - a crow,| يبحث - it (was) scratching| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ليريه - to show him| كيف - how| يواري - to hide| سوءة - (the) dead body| أخيه - (of) his brother.| قال - He said,| يا - O| ويلتا - "Woe to me!| أعجزت - Am I unable| أن - that| أكون - I can be| مثل - like| هذا - this| الغراب - [the] crow| فأواري - and hide| سوءة - (the) dead body| أخي - (of) my brother?"| فأصبح - Then he became| من - of| النادمين - the regretful.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:42] | Waoheeta bithamarihi faasbahayuqallibu kaffayhi AAala ma anfaqa feehawahiya khawiyatun AAala AAurooshihawayaqoolu ya laytanee lam oshrik birabbee ahadan | وأحيط بثمره فأصبح يقلب كفيه على ما أنفق فيها وهي خاوية على عروشها ويقول يا ليتني لم أشرك بربي أحدا وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِ فَأَصْبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَى مَا أَنفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَى عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُشْرِكْ بِرَبِّي أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وأحيط - And were surrounded| بثمره - his fruits,| فأصبح - so he began| يقلب - twisting| كفيه - his hands| على - over| ما - what| أنفق - he (had) spent| فيها - on it,| وهي - while it (had)| خاوية - collapsed| على - on| عروشها - its trellises,| ويقول - and he said,| يا - O| ليتني - "Oh! I wish| لم - I had not associated| أشرك - I had not associated| بربي - with my Lord| أحدا - anyone."| | ||||||
| 4 [18:45] | Waidrib lahum mathala alhayatialddunya kama-in anzalnahu mina alssama-ifaikhtalata bihi nabatu al-ardi faasbahahasheeman tathroohu alrriyahu wakanaAllahu AAala kulli shay-in muqtadiran | واضرب لهم مثل الحياة الدنيا كماء أنزلناه من السماء فاختلط به نبات الأرض فأصبح هشيما تذروه الرياح وكان الله على كل شيء مقتدرا وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الْأَرْضِ فَأَصْبَحَ هَشِيمًا تَذْرُوهُ الرِّيَاحُ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّقْتَدِرًا | |||||
| Words | |واضرب - And present| لهم - to them| مثل - the example| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| كماء - like water| أنزلناه - which We send down| من - from| السماء - the sky,| فاختلط - then mingles| به - with it| نبات - (the) vegetation| الأرض - (of) the earth| فأصبح - then becomes| هشيما - dry stalks,| تذروه - it (is) scattered| الرياح - (by) the winds.| وكان - And Allah| الله - And Allah| على - over| كل - every| شيء - thing| مقتدرا - (is) All Able.| | ||||||
| 5 [28:18] | Faasbaha fee almadeenati kha-ifanyataraqqabu fa-itha allathee istansarahu bial-amsiyastasrikhuhu qala lahu moosa innakalaghawiyyun mubeenun | فأصبح في المدينة خائفا يترقب فإذا الذي استنصره بالأمس يستصرخه قال له موسى إنك لغوي مبين فَأَصْبَحَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي اسْتَنصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُ قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |فأصبح - In the morning he was| في - in| المدينة - the city| خائفا - fearful| يترقب - (and) was vigilant,| فإذا - when behold!| الذي - The one who| استنصره - sought his help| بالأمس - the previous day| يستصرخه - cried out to him for help.| قال - Said| له - to him| موسى - Musa,| إنك - "Indeed, you| لغوي - (are) surely a deviator| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
