| 1 [5:106] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooshahadatu baynikum itha hadara ahadakumualmawtu heena alwasiyyati ithnani thawaAAadlin minkum aw akharani min ghayrikum in antum darabtumfee al-ardi faasabatkum museebatu almawti tahbisoonahumamin baAAdi alssalati fayuqsimani biAllahiini irtabtum la nashtaree bihi thamanan walaw kana thaqurba wala naktumu shahadata Allahiinna ithan lamina al-athimeena |  يا أيها الذين آمنوا شهادة بينكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت حين الوصية اثنان ذوا عدل منكم أو آخران من غيركم إن أنتم ضربتم في الأرض فأصابتكم مصيبة الموت تحبسونهما من بعد الصلاة فيقسمان بالله إن ارتبتم لا نشتري به ثمنا ولو كان ذا قربى ولا نكتم شهادة الله إنا إذا لمن الآثمينيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِن بَعْدِ الصَّلاَةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لاَ نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلاَ نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الْآثِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| شهادة - (Take) testimony| بينكم - among you| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدكم - one of you| الموت - [the] death,| حين - (at the) time (of making)| الوصية - [the] a will| اثنان - two| ذوا - men,| عدل - just,| منكم - among you,| أو - or| آخران - two others| من - from| غيركم - other than you| إن - if| أنتم - You| ضربتم - (are) travel(ing)| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فأصابتكم - then befalls you| مصيبة - calamity| الموت - (of) [the] death.| تحبسونهما - Detain both of them| من - from| بعد - after| الصلاة - the prayer| فيقسمان - and let them both swear| بالله - by Allah| إن - if| ارتبتم - you doubt,| لا - "Not| نشتري - we will exchange| به - it for| ثمنا - a price| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (of)| قربى - a near relative,| ولا - and not| نكتم - we will conceal| شهادة - testimony| الله - (of) Allah.| إنا - Indeed, we| إذا - then| لمن - (will) surely (be) of| الآثمين - the sinners."| | ||||||
| 2 [9:39] | Illa tanfiroo yuAAaththibkumAAathaban aleeman wayastabdil qawman ghayrakum walatadurroohu shay-an waAllahu AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun | إلا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا أليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شيئا والله على كل شيء قدير إِلاَّ تَنفِرُواْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلاَ تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - If not| تنفروا - you go forth,| يعذبكم - He will punish you| عذابا - (with) a painful punishment,| أليما - (with) a painful punishment,| ويستبدل - and will replace you| قوما - (with) a people| غيركم - other than you,| ولا - and not| تضروه - you can harm Him| شيئا - (in) anything.| والله - And Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 3 [11:57] | Fa-in tawallaw faqad ablaghtukum maorsiltu bihi ilaykum wayastakhlifu rabbee qawman ghayrakum walatadurroonahu shay-an inna rabbee AAala kullishay-in hafeethun | فإن تولوا فقد أبلغتكم ما أرسلت به إليكم ويستخلف ربي قوما غيركم ولا تضرونه شيئا إن ربي على كل شيء حفيظ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُم مَّا أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ إِلَيْكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ رَبِّي قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلاَ تَضُرُّونَهُ شَيْئًا إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَىَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - So if| تولوا - you turn away,| فقد - then verily| أبلغتكم - I have conveyed to you| ما - what| أرسلت - I was sent| به - with [it]| إليكم - to you.| ويستخلف - And my Lord will give succession| ربي - And my Lord will give succession| قوما - (to) a people| غيركم - other than you,| ولا - and not| تضرونه - you will harm Him| شيئا - (in) anything.| إن - Indeed,| ربي - my Lord| على - (is) on| كل - all| شيء - things| حفيظ - a Guardian."| | ||||||
| 4 [47:38] | Ha antum haola-itudAAawna litunfiqoo fee sabeeli Allahi faminkum manyabkhalu waman yabkhal fa-innama yabkhalu AAan nafsihi waAllahualghaniyyu waantumu alfuqarao wa-in tatawallaw yastabdilqawman ghayrakum thumma la yakoonoo amthalakum | ها أنتم هؤلاء تدعون لتنفقوا في سبيل الله فمنكم من يبخل ومن يبخل فإنما يبخل عن نفسه والله الغني وأنتم الفقراء وإن تتولوا يستبدل قوما غيركم ثم لا يكونوا أمثالكم هَاأَنتُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ | |||||
| Words | |ها - Here| أنتم - You are| هؤلاء - these,| تدعون - called| لتنفقوا - to spend| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah -| فمنكم - but among you| من - (are some) who| يبخل - withhold,| ومن - and whoever| يبخل - withholds,| فإنما - then only| يبخل - he withholds| عن - from| نفسه - himself.| والله - But Allah| الغني - (is) Free of need,| وأنتم - while you| الفقراء - (are) the needy.| وإن - And if| تتولوا - you turn away| يستبدل - He will replace you| قوما - (with) a people| غيركم - other than you,| ثم - then| لا - not| يكونوا - they will be| أمثالكم - (the) likes of you.| | ||||||
