| 1 [8:56] | Allatheena AAahadta minhumthumma yanqudoona AAahdahum fee kulli marratin wahum layattaqoona |  الذين عاهدت منهم ثم ينقضون عهدهم في كل مرة وهم لا يتقونالَّذِينَ عَاهَدتَّ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُمْ لاَ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who -| عاهدت - you made a covenant| منهم - with them| ثم - then| ينقضون - they break| عهدهم - their covenant| في - [in]| كل - every| مرة - time,| وهم - and they| لا - (do) not| يتقون - fear (Allah).| | ||||||
| 2 [9:4] | Illa allatheena AAahadtummina almushrikeena thumma lam yanqusookum shay-an walam yuthahirooAAalaykum ahadan faatimmoo ilayhim AAahdahum ilamuddatihim inna Allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena | إلا الذين عاهدتم من المشركين ثم لم ينقصوكم شيئا ولم يظاهروا عليكم أحدا فأتموا إليهم عهدهم إلى مدتهم إن الله يحب المتقين إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّم مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُواْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّواْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَى مُدَّتِهِمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those (with) whom| عاهدتم - you have a covenant| من - among| المشركين - the polytheists,| ثم - then| لم - not| ينقصوكم - they have failed you| شيئا - (in any) thing| ولم - and not| يظاهروا - they have supported| عليكم - against you| أحدا - anyone,| فأتموا - so fulfil| إليهم - to them| عهدهم - their treaty| إلى - till| مدتهم - their term.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يحب - loves| المتقين - the righteous.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:12] | Wa-in nakathoo aymanahum min baAAdiAAahdihim wataAAanoo fee deenikum faqatilooa-immata alkufri innahum la aymana lahumlaAAallahum yantahoona | وإن نكثوا أيمانهم من بعد عهدهم وطعنوا في دينكم فقاتلوا أئمة الكفر إنهم لا أيمان لهم لعلهم ينتهون وَإِن نَّكَثُواْ أَيْمَانَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ فَقَاتِلُواْ أَئِمَّةَ الْكُفْرِ إِنَّهُمْ لاَ أَيْمَانَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنتَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| نكثوا - they break| أيمانهم - their oaths| من - after| بعد - after| عهدهم - their treaty| وطعنوا - and defame| في - [in]| دينكم - your religion,| فقاتلوا - then fight| أئمة - the leaders| الكفر - (of) [the] disbelief,| إنهم - indeed, they -| لا - no| أيمان - oaths| لهم - for them,| لعلهم - so that they may| ينتهون - cease.| | ||||||
