| 1 [3:56] | Faamma allatheena kafaroofaoAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan fee alddunyawaal-akhirati wama lahum min nasireena |  فأما الذين كفروا فأعذبهم عذابا شديدا في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم من ناصرينفَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d],| فأعذبهم - then I will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| شديدا - severe| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| من - any| ناصرين - helpers.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:18] | Walaysati alttawbatu lillatheenayaAAmaloona alssayyi-ati hatta ithahadara ahadahumu almawtu qala inneetubtu al-ana wala allatheena yamootoonawahum kuffarun ola-ika aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleeman | وليست التوبة للذين يعملون السيئات حتى إذا حضر أحدهم الموت قال إني تبت الآن ولا الذين يموتون وهم كفار أولئك أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليما وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّى إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الْآنَ وَلاَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وليست - And not| التوبة - (is) the acceptance of repentance| للذين - for those who| يعملون - do| السيئات - the evil deeds| حتى - until| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدهم - one of them| الموت - [the] death,| قال - he says,| إني - "Indeed I| تبت - repent| الآن - now;"| ولا - and not| الذين - those who| يموتون - die| وهم - while they| كفار - (are) disbelievers.| أولئك - Those -| أعتدنا - We have prepared| لهم - for them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:37] | Allatheena yabkhaloona waya/muroona alnnasabialbukhli wayaktumoona ma atahumuAllahu min fadlihi waaAAtadna lilkafireenaAAathaban muheenan | الذين يبخلون ويأمرون الناس بالبخل ويكتمون ما آتاهم الله من فضله وأعتدنا للكافرين عذابا مهينا الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يبخلون - are stingy| ويأمرون - and order| الناس - the people| بالبخل - [of] stinginess| ويكتمون - and hide| ما - what| آتاهم - (has) given them| الله - Allah| من - of| فضله - His Bounty -| وأعتدنا - and We (have) prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| عذابا - a punishment| مهينا - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:93] | Waman yaqtul mu/minan mutaAAammidan fajazaohujahannamu khalidan feeha waghadiba AllahuAAalayhi walaAAanahu waaAAadda lahu AAathaban AAatheeman | ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذابا عظيما وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يقتل - kills| مؤمنا - a believer| متعمدا - intentionally| فجزاؤه - then his recompense| جهنم - (is) Hell,| خالدا - abiding forever| فيها - in it| وغضب - and will fall the wrath| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on him| ولعنه - and He (will) curse him| وأعد - and He has prepared| له - for him| عذابا - a punishment| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:102] | Wa-itha kunta feehim faaqamta lahumualssalata faltaqum ta-ifatun minhummaAAaka walya/khuthoo aslihatahum fa-ithasajadoo falyakoonoo min wara-ikum walta/ti ta-ifatunokhra lam yusalloo falyusalloo maAAakawalya/khuthoo hithrahum waaslihatahumwadda allatheena kafaroo law taghfuloona AAan aslihatikumwaamtiAAatikum fayameeloona AAalaykum maylatan wahidatanwala junaha AAalaykum in kana bikum athanmin matarin aw kuntum marda an tadaAAoo aslihatakumwakhuthoo hithrakum inna AllahaaAAadda lilkafireena AAathaban muheenan | وإذا كنت فيهم فأقمت لهم الصلاة فلتقم طائفة منهم معك وليأخذوا أسلحتهم فإذا سجدوا فليكونوا من ورائكم ولتأت طائفة أخرى لم يصلوا فليصلوا معك وليأخذوا حذرهم وأسلحتهم ود الذين كفروا لو تغفلون عن أسلحتكم وأمتعتكم فيميلون عليكم ميلة واحدة ولا جناح عليكم إن كان بكم أذى من مطر أو كنتم مرضى أن تضعوا أسلحتكم وخذوا حذركم إن الله أعد للكافرين عذابا مهينا وَإِذَا كُنتَ فِيهِمْ فَأَقَمْتَ لَهُمُ الصَّلاَةَ فَلْتَقُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُم مَّعَكَ وَلْيَأْخُذُواْ أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ فَإِذَا سَجَدُواْ فَلْيَكُونُواْ مِن وَرَآئِكُمْ وَلْتَأْتِ طَآئِفَةٌ أُخْرَى لَمْ يُصَلُّواْ فَلْيُصَلُّواْ مَعَكَ وَلْيَأْخُذُواْ حِذْرَهُمْ وَأَسْلِحَتَهُمْ وَدَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ تَغْفُلُونَ عَنْ أَسْلِحَتِكُمْ وَأَمْتِعَتِكُمْ فَيَمِيلُونَ عَلَيْكُم مَّيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِن كَانَ بِكُمْ أَذًى مِّن مَّطَرٍ أَوْ كُنتُم مَّرْضَى أَن تَضَعُواْ أَسْلِحَتَكُمْ وَخُذُواْ حِذْرَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| كنت - you are| فيهم - among them| فأقمت - and you lead| لهم - for them| الصلاة - the prayer,| فلتقم - then let stand| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them| معك - with you| وليأخذوا - and let them take| أسلحتهم - their arms.| فإذا - Then when| سجدوا - they have prostrated,| فليكونوا - then let them be| من - from| ورائكم - behind you| ولتأت - and let come (forward)| طائفة - a group -| أخرى - other,| لم - (which has) not| يصلوا - prayed,| فليصلوا - and let them pray| معك - with you| وليأخذوا - and let them take| حذرهم - their precautions| وأسلحتهم - and their arms.| ود - Wished| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| لو - if| تغفلون - you neglect| عن - [about]| أسلحتكم - your arms| وأمتعتكم - and your baggage,| فيميلون - so (that) they (can) assault| عليكم - [upon] you| ميلة - (in) an attack,| واحدة - single.| ولا - But (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - upon you| إن - if| كان - was| بكم - with you| أذى - any trouble| من - (because) of| مطر - rain| أو - or| كنتم - you are| مرضى - sick| أن - that| تضعوا - you lay down| أسلحتكم - your arms,| وخذوا - but take| حذركم - your precautions.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| أعد - has prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| عذابا - a punishment| مهينا - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:138] | Bashshiri almunafiqeena bi-annalahum AAathaban aleeman | بشر المنافقين بأن لهم عذابا أليما بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||

| 7 [4:151] | Ola-ika humu alkafiroona haqqanwaaAAtadna lilkafireena AAathaban muheenan | أولئك هم الكافرون حقا وأعتدنا للكافرين عذابا مهينا أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ حَقًّا وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those -| هم - they| الكافرون - (are) the disbelievers| حقا - truly.| وأعتدنا - And We have prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| عذابا - a punishment| مهينا - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 8 [4:161] | Waakhthihimu alrribawaqad nuhoo AAanhu waaklihim amwala alnnasibialbatili waaAAtadna lilkafireenaminhum AAathaban aleeman | وأخذهم الربا وقد نهوا عنه وأكلهم أموال الناس بالباطل وأعتدنا للكافرين منهم عذابا أليما وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وأخذهم - And for their taking| الربا - (of) [the] usury| وقد - while certainly| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from it| وأكلهم - and (for) their consuming| أموال - wealth| الناس - (of) the people| بالباطل - wrongfully.| وأعتدنا - And We have prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| منهم - among them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 9 [4:173] | Faamma allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati fayuwaffeehimojoorahum wayazeeduhum min fadlihi waamma allatheenaistankafoo waistakbaroo fayuAAaththibuhum AAathabanaleeman wala yajidoona lahum min dooni Allahiwaliyyan wala naseeran | فأما الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات فيوفيهم أجورهم ويزيدهم من فضله وأما الذين استنكفوا واستكبروا فيعذبهم عذابا أليما ولا يجدون لهم من دون الله وليا ولا نصيرا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْتَنكَفُواْ وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ فَيُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَلاَ يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلاَ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed| وعملوا - and did| الصالحات - the righteous deeds| فيوفيهم - then He will give them in full| أجورهم - their reward| ويزيدهم - and give them more| من - from| فضله - His Bounty.| وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| استنكفوا - disdained| واستكبروا - and were arrogant| فيعذبهم - then He will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful,| ولا - and not| يجدون - will they find| لهم - for themselves| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| وليا - any protector| ولا - and not| نصيرا - any helper.| | ||||||
| 10 [5:115] | Qala Allahu innee munazziluhaAAalaykum faman yakfur baAAdu minkum fa-innee oAAaththibuhuAAathaban la oAAaththibuhu ahadanmina alAAalameena | قال الله إني منزلها عليكم فمن يكفر بعد منكم فإني أعذبه عذابا لا أعذبه أحدا من العالمين قَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ فَإِنِّي أُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَابًا لاَّ أُعَذِّبُهُ أَحَدًا مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الله - Allah,| إني - "Indeed I| منزلها - (will) send it down| عليكم - to you,| فمن - then whoever| يكفر - disbelieves| بعد - after (that)| منكم - among you,| فإني - then indeed I| أعذبه - [I] will punish him| عذابا - (with) a punishment| لا - not| أعذبه - I have punished| أحدا - anyone| من - among| العالمين - the worlds."| | ||||||
| 11 [6:65] | Qul huwa alqadiru AAala anyabAAatha AAalaykum AAathaban min fawqikum aw min tahtiarjulikum aw yalbisakum shiyaAAan wayutheeqa baAAdakumba/sa baAAdin onthur kayfa nusarrifual-ayati laAAallahum yafqahoona | قل هو القادر على أن يبعث عليكم عذابا من فوقكم أو من تحت أرجلكم أو يلبسكم شيعا ويذيق بعضكم بأس بعض انظر كيف نصرف الآيات لعلهم يفقهون قُلْ هُوَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعاً وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هو - "He| القادر - (is) All-Capable| على - [on]| أن - to| يبعث - send| عليكم - upon you| عذابا - punishment| من - from| فوقكم - above you| أو - or| من - from| تحت - beneath| أرجلكم - your feet| أو - or| يلبسكم - (to) confuse you| شيعا - (into) sects| ويذيق - and make (you) taste -| بعضكم - some of you| بأس - violence| بعض - (of) others."| انظر - See| كيف - how| نصرف - We explain| الآيات - the Signs| لعلهم - so that they may| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
| 12 [7:38] | Qala odkhuloo fee omamin qad khalatmin qablikum mina aljinni waal-insi fee alnnarikullama dakhalat ommatun laAAanat okhtaha hattaitha iddarakoo feeha jameeAAan qalatokhrahum li-oolahum rabbana haola-iadalloona faatihim AAathaban diAAfanmina alnnari qala likullin diAAfunwalakin la taAAlamoona | قال ادخلوا في أمم قد خلت من قبلكم من الجن والإنس في النار كلما دخلت أمة لعنت أختها حتى إذا اداركوا فيها جميعا قالت أخراهم لأولاهم ربنا هؤلاء أضلونا فآتهم عذابا ضعفا من النار قال لكل ضعف ولكن لا تعلمون قَالَ ادْخُلُواْ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ فِي النَّارِ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَتْ أُمَّةٌ لَّعَنَتْ أُخْتَهَا حَتَّى إِذَا ادَّارَكُواْ فِيهَا جَمِيعًا قَالَتْ أُخْرَاهُمْ لِأُولاَهُمْ رَبَّنَا هَـؤُلاَءِ أَضَلُّونَا فَآتِهِمْ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا مِّنَ النَّارِ قَالَ لِكُلٍّ ضِعْفٌ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He (will) say,| ادخلوا - "Enter| في - among| أمم - (the) nations| قد - (who)| خلت - passed away| من - from| قبلكم - before you| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and the men| في - in| النار - the Fire."| كلما - Every time| دخلت - entered| أمة - a nation| لعنت - it cursed| أختها - its sister (nation)| حتى - until| إذا - when| اداركوا - they had overtaken one another| فيها - in it| جميعا - all,| قالت - (will) say| أخراهم - (the) last of them| لأولاهم - about the first of them,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| هؤلاء - these| أضلونا - misled us| فآتهم - so give them| عذابا - punishment,| ضعفا - double,| من - of| النار - the Fire."| قال - He (will) say,| لكل - "For each| ضعف - (is) a double| ولكن - [and] but| لا - not| تعلمون - you know."| | ||||||
| 13 [7:164] | Wa-ith qalat ommatun minhumlima taAAithoona qawman Allahu muhlikuhum awmuAAaththibuhum AAathaban shadeedan qaloomaAAthiratan ila rabbikum walaAAallahum yattaqoona | وإذ قالت أمة منهم لم تعظون قوما الله مهلكهم أو معذبهم عذابا شديدا قالوا معذرة إلى ربكم ولعلهم يتقون وَإِذْ قَالَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِّنْهُمْ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوْمًا اللّهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا قَالُواْ مَعْذِرَةً إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قالت - said| أمة - a community| منهم - among them,| لم - "Why| تعظون - (do) you preach| قوما - a people,| الله - (whom) Allah| مهلكهم - (is going to) destroy them| أو - or| معذبهم - punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| شديدا - severe?"| قالوا - They said,| معذرة - "To be absolved| إلى - before| ربكم - your Lord| ولعلهم - and that they may| يتقون - become righteous."| | ||||||
| 14 [9:39] | Illa tanfiroo yuAAaththibkumAAathaban aleeman wayastabdil qawman ghayrakum walatadurroohu shay-an waAllahu AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun | إلا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا أليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شيئا والله على كل شيء قدير إِلاَّ تَنفِرُواْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلاَ تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - If not| تنفروا - you go forth,| يعذبكم - He will punish you| عذابا - (with) a painful punishment,| أليما - (with) a painful punishment,| ويستبدل - and will replace you| قوما - (with) a people| غيركم - other than you,| ولا - and not| تضروه - you can harm Him| شيئا - (in) anything.| والله - And Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 15 [9:74] | Yahlifoona biAllahi maqaloo walaqad qaloo kalimata alkufri wakafaroobaAAda islamihim wahammoo bima lam yanaloowama naqamoo illa an aghnahumu Allahuwarasooluhu min fadlihi fa-in yatooboo yaku khayran lahumwa-in yatawallaw yuAAaththibhumu Allahu AAathabanaleeman fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwama lahum fee al-ardi min waliyyin wala naseerin | يحلفون بالله ما قالوا ولقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وكفروا بعد إسلامهم وهموا بما لم ينالوا وما نقموا إلا أن أغناهم الله ورسوله من فضله فإن يتوبوا يك خيرا لهم وإن يتولوا يعذبهم الله عذابا أليما في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم في الأرض من ولي ولا نصير يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدْ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعْدَ إِسْلاَمِهِمْ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُواْ وَمَا نَقَمُواْ إِلاَّ أَنْ أَغْنَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| بالله - by Allah| ما - (that) they said nothing,| قالوا - (that) they said nothing,| ولقد - while certainly| قالوا - they said| كلمة - (the) word| الكفر - (of) the disbelief| وكفروا - and disbelieved| بعد - after| إسلامهم - their (pretense of) Islam,| وهموا - and planned| بما - [of] what| لم - not| ينالوا - they could attain.| وما - And not| نقموا - they were resentful| إلا - except| أن - that| أغناهم - Allah had enriched them| الله - Allah had enriched them| ورسوله - and His Messenger| من - of| فضله - His Bounty.| فإن - So if| يتوبوا - they repent,| يك - it is| خيرا - better| لهم - for them,| وإن - and if| يتولوا - they turn away,| يعذبهم - Allah will punish them| الله - Allah will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful,| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| في - in| الأرض - the earth| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - a helper.| | ||||||
| 16 [16:88] | Allatheena kafaroo wasaddooAAan sabeeli Allahi zidnahum AAathaban fawqaalAAathabi bima kanoo yufsidoona | الذين كفروا وصدوا عن سبيل الله زدناهم عذابا فوق العذاب بما كانوا يفسدون الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يُفْسِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - And those who| كفروا - disbelieved| وصدوا - and hindered| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| زدناهم - We will increase them| عذابا - (in) punishment| فوق - over| العذاب - punishment| بما - because| كانوا - they used (to)| يفسدون - spread corruption.| | ||||||
| 17 [17:10] | Waanna allatheena layu/minoona bial-akhirati aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleeman | وأن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة أعتدنا لهم عذابا أليما وأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||

| 18 [17:58] | Wa-in min qaryatin illa nahnumuhlikooha qabla yawmi alqiyamati aw muAAaththiboohaAAathaban shadeedan kana thalika fee alkitabimastooran | وإن من قرية إلا نحن مهلكوها قبل يوم القيامة أو معذبوها عذابا شديدا كان ذلك في الكتاب مسطورا وَإِن مَّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلاَّ نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا كَانَ ذَلِك فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا | |||||

| 19 [18:87] | Qala amma man thalamafasawfa nuAAaththibuhu thumma yuraddu ila rabbihifayuAAaththibuhu AAathaban nukran | قال أما من ظلم فسوف نعذبه ثم يرد إلى ربه فيعذبه عذابا نكرا قَالَ أَمَّا مَن ظَلَمَ فَسَوْفَ نُعَذِّبُهُ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّ إِلَى رَبِّهِ فَيُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| أما - "As for| من - (one) who| ظلم - wrongs,| فسوف - then soon| نعذبه - we will punish him.| ثم - Then| يرد - he will be returned| إلى - to| ربه - his Lord,| فيعذبه - and He will punish him| عذابا - (with) a punishment| نكرا - terrible.| | ||||||
| 20 [20:71] | Qala amantum lahu qabla an athanalakum innahu lakabeerukumu allathee AAallamakumu alssihrafalaoqattiAAanna aydiyakum waarjulakum min khilafinwalaosallibannakum fee juthooAAi alnnakhliwalataAAlamunna ayyuna ashaddu AAathaban waabqa | قال آمنتم له قبل أن آذن لكم إنه لكبيركم الذي علمكم السحر فلأقطعن أيديكم وأرجلكم من خلاف ولأصلبنكم في جذوع النخل ولتعلمن أينا أشد عذابا وأبقى قَالَ آمَنتُمْ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ إِنَّهُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَ فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَافٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ فِي جُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ أَيُّنَا أَشَدُّ عَذَابًا وَأَبْقَى | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| آمنتم - "You believe| له - [to] him| قبل - before| أن - [that]| آذن - I gave permission| لكم - to you.| إنه - Indeed, he| لكبيركم - (is) your chief,| الذي - the one who| علمكم - taught you| السحر - the magic.| فلأقطعن - So surely I will cut off| أيديكم - your hands| وأرجلكم - and your feet| من - of| خلاف - opposite sides,| ولأصلبنكم - and surely I will crucify you| في - on| جذوع - (the) trunks| النخل - (of) date-palms| ولتعلمن - and surely you will know| أينا - which of us| أشد - (is) more severe| عذابا - (in) punishment| وأبقى - and more lasting."| | ||||||
