| 1 [41:22] | Wama kuntum tastatiroona an yashhadaAAalaykum samAAukum wala absarukum walajuloodukum walakin thanantum anna Allahala yaAAlamu katheeran mimma taAAmaloona |  وما كنتم تستترون أن يشهد عليكم سمعكم ولا أبصاركم ولا جلودكم ولكن ظننتم أن الله لا يعلم كثيرا مما تعملونوَمَا كُنتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَكِن ظَنَنتُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كنتم - you were| تستترون - covering yourselves| أن - lest| يشهد - testify| عليكم - against you| سمعكم - your hearing| ولا - and not| أبصاركم - your sight| ولا - and not| جلودكم - your skins,| ولكن - but| ظننتم - you assumed| أن - that| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يعلم - know| كثيرا - much| مما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 2 [41:23] | Wathalikum thannukumuallathee thanantum birabbikum ardakumfaasbahtum mina alkhasireena | وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين وَذَلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنْ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وذلكم - And that| ظنكم - (was) your assumption| الذي - which| ظننتم - you assumed| بربكم - about your Lord.| أرداكم - It has ruined you,| فأصبحتم - and you have become| من - of| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 3 [48:12] | Bal thanantum an lan yanqalibaalrrasoolu waalmu/minoona ila ahleehimabadan wazuyyina thalika fee quloobikum wathanantumthanna alssaw-i wakuntum qawman booran | بل ظننتم أن لن ينقلب الرسول والمؤمنون إلى أهليهم أبدا وزين ذلك في قلوبكم وظننتم ظن السوء وكنتم قوما بورا بَلْ ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ أَبَدًا وَزُيِّنَ ذَلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا بُورًا | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| ظننتم - you thought| أن - that| لن - (would) never| ينقلب - return| الرسول - the Messenger| والمؤمنون - and the believers| إلى - to| أهليهم - their families| أبدا - ever,| وزين - that was made fair-seeming| ذلك - that was made fair-seeming| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts.| وظننتم - And you assumed| ظن - an assumption| السوء - evil,| وكنتم - and you became| قوما - a people| بورا - ruined."| | ||||||
| 4 [59:2] | Huwa allathee akhraja allatheenakafaroo min ahli alkitabi min diyarihim li-awwalialhashri ma thanantum an yakhrujoo wathannooannahum maniAAatuhum husoonuhum mina Allahifaatahumu Allahu min haythu lam yahtasiboowaqathafa fee quloobihimu alrruAAba yukhriboonabuyootahum bi-aydeehim waaydee almu/mineena faiAAtabiroo yaolee al-absari | هو الذي أخرج الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب من ديارهم لأول الحشر ما ظننتم أن يخرجوا وظنوا أنهم مانعتهم حصونهم من الله فأتاهم الله من حيث لم يحتسبوا وقذف في قلوبهم الرعب يخربون بيوتهم بأيديهم وأيدي المؤمنين فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار هُوَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن دِيَارِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ فَأَتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَاعْتَبِرُوا يَا أُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ | |||||
| Words | |هو - He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أخرج - expelled| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - from| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Scripture| من - from| ديارهم - their homes| لأول - at (the) first| الحشر - gathering.| ما - Not| ظننتم - you think| أن - that| يخرجوا - they would leave,| وظنوا - and they thought| أنهم - that [they]| مانعتهم - would defend them| حصونهم - their fortresses| من - against| الله - Allah.| فأتاهم - But came to them| الله - Allah| من - from| حيث - where| لم - not| يحتسبوا - they expected,| وقذف - and He cast| في - into| قلوبهم - their hearts| الرعب - [the] terror,| يخربون - they destroyed| بيوتهم - their houses| بأيديهم - with their hands| وأيدي - and the hands| المؤمنين - (of) the believers.| فاعتبروا - So take a lesson,| يا - O| أولي - O those endowed| الأبصار - (with) insight!| | ||||||
| 5 [72:7] | Waannahum thannoo kama thanantuman lan yabAAatha Allahu ahadan | وأنهم ظنوا كما ظننتم أن لن يبعث الله أحدا وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وأنهم - And that they| ظنوا - thought| كما - as| ظننتم - you thought| أن - that| لن - never| يبعث - will raise| الله - Allah| أحدا - anyone.| | ||||||
